Details on POPCORE’s new single

Back in November, we mentioned that in March, POPCORE would be releasing a new single. However, details were not available at that time.
Well, it turns out that their new single, entitled “BURST” will be out on March 7th! The release will cost 1575 yen, and comes with three tracks.

King Records has uploaded some behind the scenes footage of lynch.‘s 5-city simulcast “vision jack” performance of MIRRORS on the evening of the single’s November 9th release date. From the looks of it, the members were extremely focused – and all that concentration certainly paid off in a phenomenal one-of-a-kind live performance.
(If you missed it, a fan recorded and graciously uploaded the view from Shinjuku’s STUDIO ALTA. Good to see they drew a hell of a crowd in Shinjuku!)
Fun fact! See those trucks driving around in front of ALTA from about ~5:45 in the DOCUMENT video? King Records hired three of them to promote and blast lynch.’s new single for the week of the release, which is a fairly common promotion tactic in Japan… But rumor has it that even AKB48, one of King Records’ most popular artists, had only two such trucks to promote their recent single(s).
Oh, if you’re wondering (because I certainly was), yes, it does appear that Hazuki has a new tattoo on his neck. According to some observant fans over at marginal_works, it says “UNTIL I DIE.”

New full-album and sponsored tour for Sandwich de 120 pun?

Great news for all サンドイッチで120分? (Sandwich de 120 pun?) fans. Not only are they going to release a new full-album in July, but also hold a commemorative sponsored tour!
Firstly, the full-album will go on sale on July 27th under the title 「ネバーランド」(Neverland). It will include 13 songs and will cost 3150 yen. The cover is as follows:

xTRiPx down two and goes on pause

Sad news – xTRiPx has announced that due to different musicial opinions their guitarist 将吾 (Shougo) and bassist ちょび (Chobi) will leave the band after an oneman concert at Takadanobaba AREA on July 21st.
Because of this, the remaining members have decided that the band will go on hiatus. They are sorry for this sudden announcement but hope that fans will support them until the end.
They also opened YouTube Channel recently. Did you like the new single? What you think about the hiatus?

Thanks to people who emailed us Dead Orchestra link and trailer for the drama we talked about over here. Now we can see what kind of adventure the band has gotten themselves in. Warner Music Japan has uploaded the trailer on their official youtube account.
I have to admit, even I want to see this now! It looks cheesy but kinda cute. What do you think about the drama after watching the trailer? Do you think their acting is ok, I believe Kamijo is probably the only one who has acted before…?

Crazy★shampoo has announced on their official website that they’ll become a regular band as of June 18th 2011:
We appreciate all your support through the days. Crazy★shampoo as a continuing session band will, as of 2011.6.18 , as a one year anniversary, start activities as a regular band.
Concerning live and event dates, there I’d nothing planned yet, but upon decision, information will be available on Crazy★shampoo’s official website.
As members and staff, we plan on giving it everything we can and hope for your support!

RYONAI’s last singer left BLAM HONEY back in August, which we talked about over here. Seems like his last live he took things into his own hands and performed vocals! You can get a taste of his talents in this live video he posted. He does have his own youtube account as well.
