tsuguki-out-with-the-flu-for-dollys-tour-final

It feels like I’ve been finding all the bad news lately. Dolly’s drummer, Tsuguki, has come down with the flu and has been advised not to perform tomorrow at Dolly’s tour final. The band will instead pick up a support member.
This was posted to Dolly’s OHP earlier today.

We truly thank you for your regular support of Dolly.

About the Dolly sponsored tour “Seven colors palette” performance at Shinjuku BLAZE scheduled for February 2, 2012,
At this time, Dr. Tsuguki has contracted influenza and in accordance with the determination of his doctor, it has been decided that he will not participate in the performance.

In addition, for the aforementioned performance Vo. Mitsu, Gu. Masa, and Ba. Hachi will welcome a support member.
Please reference the Dolly Official Site “LIVE Page” for information and ticketing details for each performance.

Also, regarding the above-mentioned schedule,
because we are in the midst of consulting with the doctor, we will update [everyone] shortly.

We apologize deeply to our guests who have looked forward to seeing all members perform together,
and to all related persons for the trouble and worry.

Please contact Fuji Promotions (03-5925-2770)
for further information regarding this matter.

Support for Versailles

support-for-versailles

For those who haven’t heard but are curious, at today’s performance at V-ROCK FESTIVAL 2009, the bassist for 摩天楼オペラ (Matenrou Opera), 燿 ~yo~, will be playing support bass for Versailles.

Yo wrote the following journal entry regarding his supporting role:

It’s already been written by Versailles’ YUKI in his blog, but tomorrow at V-ROCK FES’09 I will be playing support bass for Versailles.

Passing by the announcement on Versailles’ OHP, I wasn’t sure at first if they would perform or not, but before they had made the decision to play, they said to me, “If we do perform, please play bass for us”.

The only thing I felt was “If there’s something I can do, I want to do something helpful”.

We’re climbing over something that has been extremely sad, and for the sake of my sempai who are getting on stage to deliver their distinct hope to their fans, I felt that I want to support them, and taking on this shape, is the least I could do.

Also, I felt that I wanted to be able to experience first hand what Jasmine had left behind.

Even though our forms are different, I too feel the same way that the fans of Versailles do.

With my poor ability, I’ll be happy if you can support me just a little and give me a push on the back.

Tomorrow please support us, along with Matenrou Opera.

A star to support the studs !

a-star-to-support-the-studs

As we told you a little while ago now, Hibiki has left the studs, who were short a drummer after this. But, good news, the band has found an awesome support member to follow them through their 「Tour’09 alansmithee」, in the person of Sasabuchi Hiroshi !!! Hiroshi recently left Plastic Tree and will now be supporting the studs, nothing has been said on whether he would subsequently join the band as a real member or not…

M.cry’s support member changes

m-crys-support-member-changes

M.cry, who recently lost their guitarist Asato, announced that their support guitarist Sachi has also left the band due to not being able to take part in their activities as well as before.

However, Zakuro formerly of Ren has taken Sachi’s place as M.cry’s support guitarist, and at their next live they will be a four-piece band consisting of Kou on vocals, Zakuro on guitar, Yuki on bass and Ryou on drums.

The band asks everyone to continue supporting them as well as Sachi from now on too.

On another note, Sachi has recently started as a roadie for Lolita 23q, so let’s wish him luck with that!

Source: M.cry mail magazine, OHP

I’m really glad that M.cry is still continuing, even though they’ve now had two different guitarists despite their being only a few months old as a band. Let’s hope they’ll develop into something bigger eventually!

EDIT: Actually, I just checked Sachi’s OHP and mixi and he no longer has anything up about his being Lolita23q’s roadie, even though he just started it a while ago… So I’m not sure if he’s their roadie anymore.
