オトガデッド (Otogadead) is making not one, but two comebacks within the next couple of months. Read more
We have some good — if not somewhat vague — news for LuLu fans! Visual kei’s favorite medical band has announced a return to the stage on July 6th under the name lUlU3.2! The announcement comes with only a couple of weeks for fans to arrange their schedules and get their tickets, but may be well-worth it.
SIGNAL fans have had a hard year. After the band’s loss of their drummer, Raychel, in June at their One-Man “OVER THE DEAD LINE”, their announced disbandment in September after their final One-Man “CROSSING FATE” , and then the theft of their funds by SIGNAL’s bassist, Shion, no one expected the band to be on speaking terms with one another, let alone willing to work together another time.
However, fans will be delighted on April 20th as SIGNAL announced they will be having a One-Day revival! Read more
Fans were disappointed last year after the announcement that after their live at Shibuya REX on December 26, 2013, BLACK LINE would be going on a temporary hiatus. With most bands, fans fear hiatuses nearly as much as disbandments, as so few ever return to activity.
Fans were particularly wary after BLACK LINE’s Vocalist, Mikaru, decided to branch out a little with his project “G.L.A.M.S” that took over Paris this past February.
However, BLACK LINE has returned. Read more
After Satoshi left D.I.D. last year the band fell into an activity slump — until last night, when they held their first live in months. As to be expected with any return to the scene the live brought good news in the form of multiple announcements, showing that D.I.D. is back in action full-force.
In short, fans have a couple of lives to look forward to, which include the band’s first sponsored live. There will also be a new single on sale on which Pay money To my Pain’s own PABLO collaborated. The fun starts this summer, so prepare yourselves for an exciting music season!
It’s been years since I’ve heard this name!
Shattered-Tranquility.net last mentioned MY BactEriA Heat iSland in 2008. You’ll notice the difference in writing from the just-announced My BACTERIA HEAT IsLAND. It could be that the band wants to bring in a new style with its new members without losing the spirit of the group from all those years ago. Of course, Tenten will be leading the unit as its vocalist, alongside all-new faces, mostly from SKULL! It seems this band has been a hot topic lately, though there’s only a little information available about their (re-)debut.
Let’s get to it and start by meeting the members!
It was really only a matter of time.
Infamous bassist and producer Kisaki announced earlier this week at his birthday event that 凛-the end of corruption world- (Lin) will be reborn from the ashes of their hiatus last year. Starting on June 1st in Tokyo, Lin will return to the stage, but…
Fans have been on their toes, wondering who would be the new members of Lin. And it seems Kisaki wasn’t willing to keep the information close to the chest for too long. UCP fans, more particularly fans of Megaromania, will be pleased with the new line-up.
So, who will be part of Lin?
ARVISE has finally returned – and with a new face in the crowd.
In March 2011, ARVISE went on an activity pause following their live at Ikebukuro CYBER the previous month. On January 25th, almost three years since their tearful goodbyes, ARVISE is back and better than ever.
At the end of November, ARVISE’s OHP opened, revealing a whole new look and a new member. The band is being joined by vocalist 翔 (Shou) for the first time. You can read more about the promising new vocalist on his official Twitter or Ameblo account. Or, you could see him and the rest of the band at one of their upcoming lives: Read more
Fans of Kansai-based XI may have been disappointed to learn that on December 12th, XI would be ending band activities.
The good news? No one is going anywhere! XI has become LICKER; all of the members of XI are also the same members in LICKER.
As some readers may recall, we told you about LICKER’s official disbandment back in 2011 following the departure of two of their members. As for why this revival is occurring now, their official Ameblo encourages fans to “ask them yourselves.” More than a name change, this seems to be an image change as well! Read more
TRIGGAH is on a roll lately — and they haven’t even had their official activity restart yet! After losing most of their band mates last year, guitarist Tomozo and vocalist Hajime came back to announce new members and a fresh start this spring. With its first live — a “demonstration” live as an opening act — in February and its official comeback in March, TRIGGAH is way ahead of the game in that they, last night, announced yet another release for fans to look forward to.
“ENVY AND JEALOUSY,” the new single, is due out in on March 5th (or February 22nd if you attend the demonstration live), and for anyone who missed the band’s earlier release, you can now get them all in one place starting February 29th.
First, let’s recap the new single, now with cover art and previews!
Those of you that are fluent in V-Kei history will be interested in this show.
90′s Visual Kei band ILLUMINA announced on December 20th that they will be holding a one-day revival live this April 20th, 2014. They left this simple announcement on their OHP:

Say what you will about their style (new and old), but heavy positive rockers SuG are definitely not phoning it in with their comeback. With the group’s single MISSING hitting the presses and vocalist Takeru‘s solo project Uwakimono‘s first release, I Kyou You, rapidly selling out, the band has reignited the SuG flame only months after the announcement of their revival.
Just today, the band announced a spring tour titled un-MISSING, celebrating their February 19th comeback single MISSING. The tour will start in Shibuya in March and hit 13 dates in Japan, ending with a final at Hibiya’s outdoor arena, Hibiya Yagai Dai Ongakudo, in May. But wait, I’m forgetting something…
Oh, right. In the middle of that tour, for two weeks in April, SuG is hoisting the sails and traveling to Taipei, Hong Kong, and Seoul to embark on the international leg of the un-MISSING tour!
First off, a big “thank you” to Jakub for this tip!
After entering an activity pause in 2008, Gram∞Maria is finally back…in an interesting way.
On December 22nd, the duo celebrated their 10th anniversary by making 100 copies of their first self-titled single available for just 500yen. “Gram∞Maria” contains just two tracks: the title song and 「夢～満ちて行く月の調べ～」(Yume~michiteiku tsuki no shirabe~). The catch? They were only sold at their show on the same day at Nishikujou BRAND NEW. Read more
