denno:oblaat is reviving on January 11th at Takadanobaba AREA and on January 17th at Namnba Rockets!
At those lives there will be a special privilege for those who attend that includes music from each member’s currently active band.

Anjyu’s two day revival

Anjyu’ is reviving for two days to take part in the 平成維新 (Heisei Ishin) CD release commemoration event, Heisei Ishin vs Anjyu’ 「拝啓 お久しぶりです～Face off within revolution～」 (Haikei Ohisashiburi desu), that’s taking place on January 17th and 18th at Shinsaibashi FANJ-twice.
On the 17th the bands listed as performing are Heisei Ishin, Anjyu’, ClearVeil, RivaSquall and Fuzylog.
On the 18th, Heisei Ishin, Anyju’, Arc, A&D and Lupo Label will be playing.
Tickets for either night cost 3150 yen and go on sale starting November 29th.

Yukika’s blog and two long nights

Buddy still hasn’t actually revealed the member’s names, except for one — and he hasn’t even changed his name. The singer for Buddy is indeed Yukika formerly of CLUTCH and he’s opened up a new blog: http://ameblo.jp/buddyxbuddies-yukika/.
In his blog, he’s posting about an interesting event that’s taking place, where Buddy will be performing on one day and his former band, Etc on the other.
December 22nd and 23rd seems to be something like the nights of the living dead (minus the zombie part)! The event takes Meguro Rock Maykan which features a few current bands, a session band or two plus a bunch of bands that have disbanded who are doing a one night revival.

hysteric lives for a day

hysteric is having a one day revival live on December 6th at Holiday Osaka!
The event they’ll be playing at is called ｢カラフル☆カプセルミュージアム｣ (Colourful☆Capsule Museum) and will feature other bands such as SEED, ALLu:Re., M, RivaSquall, Lupo Label, BarKiraca, XYXX and Karma-Shenjing.
… I know they had a bunch of fans, but since all the members went on to SEED (and just added yu-ki and Yoshimune) I feel like it’s not really a big deal. Regardless, it’s a nice treat for the fans who didn’t think they’d hear from them as hysteric again.

Tokyo Shitei back in business

Back in May, the members of Tokyo Shitei launched a new project called Tokyo Shitei Project “T”.
As of September 23rd, “T” has come to a close and they have announced that Tokyo Shitei we resume activities.

ASYURA is back

Adrienne wrote here that ASYURA would return from their activity pause around mid-October, but there were no details available at that time.
Now they have, however, decided on their next live, and it’ll be held at Takadanobaba AREA on October 6th! They’re also looking for a new drummer and various staff people, so it looks like they’re really planning on doing a full comeback now!

the Pumpkin Head lives for a day

the Pumpkin Head will be having a one day revival live this winter!
The band disbanded back on June 15th, 2007 but on December 4th they’ll be revived for a day! They’re playing a one man show called Shimizuya Records & Like an Edison Presents 「お嬢さんを僕に下さい。」 (Ojousan wo Boku ni Kudasai) and it’s taking place at Nagoya E.L.L (Electric Lady Land).
Tickets cost 3800 yen or 4300 yen at the door.
Currently only two of the members are iin active bands; Tomo in chariots and Izumi in Juliette. However, Frypan also has his own page on the Shimizuya Records OHP for anyone that’s interested.

Two random things.
One, the title of the post makes me think of some sort of motivational ‘you can reach your dreams!’ sort of children’s book.
Two, Frypan kind of scares me. It’s weird, because everything I’ve ever read about him from other band members and fans says he’s super nice and naturally I’m inclined to believe he’s a super nice guy. But I’m afraid of clowns, and when I saw them live his red … mouth makeup, ran all down his clean white shirt… it was just too much for me to handle, haha.
Regardless, it’s nice for the fans to have a chance to see them in action again! Hopefully it’ll be a great night for everyone who attends.

ASYURA, who went on an activity pause as of August 8th, has announced that in the middle October, they’ll be resuming activities!

Gram∞Maria back in town

Kizu sent us an e-mail saying that there were rumours that A.Q.U.A broke up so that Gram∞Maria could start again. Shi-no actually announced it in his blog back in July, but he has just announced the member line-up today. Thanks to Kizu for sending in the contact form, otherwise I’d never have checked his journal!
So yes, it turns out Gram∞Maria is indeed coming back! They will be restarting their activities on September 21st.
Shi-no wrote… quite the introduction for the members in his A.Q.U.A blog and it will not be the same line-up that Gram∞Maria finished with. The members will be as follows.

Next year, he says he’s thinking about touring in Europe (THINKING, this is not a confirmed tour) and that they will ease into their activities in Japan.

THE VELVET

And today I have a band to bring up to you, a band that revived in March of 2008. These are former members of Velvet Eden and started working together after Dada left. The original lineup consisted of the four members with Reina on vocals. That is when they formed together THE VELVET. After Reina left the bassist MiMi moved to vocals.

Marvelous Maiden and KAWON revival

On March 30th of this year, Marvelous Maiden disbanded. Although Yuu and Shoushou have moved on (Yuu to Zodia, and Shoushou to RivaSquall), the band will be having a one day revival live on September 25th alongside a few session bands and another revival.
The live will be held at Holiday Osaka at Matoi’s Birthday event entitled 「どんちゃん騒ぎ2008～纏BIRTHDAY EVENT～」 (Donchansawagi 2008 ～ Maoti BIRTHDAY EVENT). Tickets go on sale starting August 23rd and cost 3200 yen. They will only be sold at Holiday Osaka or through reserving with one of the participating bands.
A few things before I get into the bands playing. First is that KAWON will also be having a one day revival that day. And it will be the session band Phantasmoriku’s final live.

R’s one day revival

The band R who disbanded on December 30th of last year will be having a one day revival live on August 16th at HOLIDAY Osaka.
The event, which R is also sponsoring, will be called 『Revealed ∞ transient eleMent』 and the other artists performing that night are Ziggrat, Bagii Bogii, Nealco, Hikoboshi, GoDeath, Maccaholic, Desaneck, Litchi, Claust la grace and Mus’ee.

ZEXER’s one day revival

ZEXER has updated their OHP with news of their midsummer one day revival live… at a two day event!
The live takes place at SHINJUKU HOLIDAY, and is an event called 「紅白歌合戦/真夏」 (Kouhakuutagassen / Manatsu). Like I said it’s actually a two day event, but the ZEXER boys will be performing only on the second day, August 13th. At that tme they’ll also be welcoming a support member into the band for the performance.

73shiki revival live

七三式 (Shichisanshiki) who broke up on October 8th, 2007 have announced that they’ll be having a revival live!
The revival live will take place on July 3rd at Shinjuku MARZ and the other bands performing that night are MUZINA (ex.GRAND NUDE), bloom and LAYZis.
Tickets cost 3000 yen or 3500 yen at the door.

More on Phantasmagoria’s revival live

More information about Phantasmagoria’s one day revival live has slowly been coming out, and now there’s even more. It’s now been announced that at the live which is taking place at SHIBUYA-AX on the 31st of August, Vidoll and 12012 will also be performing. ネガ (Nega) will be playing as well.
Just like old times, eh?
Furthermore, KAMIJO from Versailles and Michiru formerly in MASK will be making an appearance.
Also on that day they will be selling a CD that will only be available at the livehouse that’s limited to 1500 copies called “Vanish…” that will contain a new yet published new song.
In his blog post about all this, Kisaki did write that this live will be the disbanding performance of Phantasmagoria.

ElDorado Oneman Live

ElDorado, who just had a revival live on March 29th, has announced another oneman live. This one will take place on July 9th, is called 「自由への疾走」 (Jiyuu e no Shissou) and will be held at Takadanobaba AREA and this time drummer SHOKI will be joining the band making it the original five members.
Furthermore, on the 9th they’ll be selling a DVD of the live that’s limited to the livehouse only and only 450 copies. The cost is 4500 yen.
The live opens at 6:30 and starts at 7:00. Costs 3000 yen for advance sale and 3500 yen the day of. Tickets go on sale starting May 14th.

Vjani One Day Revival Live!

ぶいじゃに (Vjani) who was a session band that disbanded on March 14th has announced a one day revival live. They originally broke up because their vocalist, たろ (Taro) (ex-cheSs) was leaving the band. However, it looks like they’ve decided to have one more go!
The revival live is on May 5th at Urawa Narciss and is called 「ぶいじゃにの森」 (Vjani no Mori). Tickets are 2800 yen each for advance order and 3300 yen at the door.

Ren Revealed!

At the end of March, we posted about an interesting development with the band 恋 (Ren) who went on an activity pause in 2007. It was announced that on April 24th, they would be restarting their activities, however, the members were not yet released with the exception of the vocalist, 葵翠 (Kisui).
Well good news! Visunavi has put up the info for the members that will revive this band!
They say not to overlook 「Ren」, who has been made more powerful, and is rich with the member’s personality!
The line-up is:

Drums - 一-Kazu-
Their renewed OHP is not yet out, and will be released on April 19th.
As mentioned before, those who reserve with the band at their live on April 24th at Urawa Narciss, will receive a free CD! Furthermore, on May 1st the band will be having a free live, also at Urawa Narciss.
Hopefully they’ll be another band we can look forward to, and they definitely have gone a complete change from before (I mean, there’s only one member that was there previously).
Make sure you keep your eye out for April 19th, when their OHP will be up and running!

Medue’obscur one day revival!
