Thanks to NyahNao for emailing us this piece of news. Koboshi_Ichigo posted on the Aicle. community about a new duo that has formed: オローラ三人娘(AURORA SANNIN MUSUME).
Emiru and Sarino (Annie’s Black) have formed a vocal duo called オローラ三人娘(AURORA SANNIN MUSUME).
Their debut single will be called Omuraisu‘Omlette’and the lyrics are an ode to the secrets of perfect omlette.
Their project is in collaboration with the fashion label Super Lovers, who have designed their outfits!

KYOKUTOU GIRL FRIEND’s side project – F’Ar÷EAST†KANφJO

It seems that KYOKUTOU GIRL FRIEND has decided to form a side project of sorts called F’Ar÷EAST†KANφJO. On the top of their site they have a text which says:
Laugh into the darkness xxxx kiss the rose of decadence, you who bloomed madly, and ecstasy’s melody・・・
Anyway, the members’ new names and looks are:
Vocal: LINDA || 林田倫堕 (Hayashida Rinda）
Guitar: KETCH || ケッチ (Ketch）
Bass: SEXY ROSE SULLEY || サリー (Sally）
Drums: AMφN || 亜門 (Amon)
Their first live will take place on the KYOKUTOU GIRL FRIEND’s sponsored event on May 14th at HOLIDAY SHINJUKU, which will be held under the title 「”GIGS” WEEKLY KGF＿2」.
It seems that they’ll release a demo tape called 「エクスタシー」(Ecstasy) as well. It’s entitled the same as the upcoming KYOKUTOU GIRL FRIEND’s single, so it’s a little bit confusing.

I want to introduce you to a project which I personally find very interesting! The project is called GalapagosS consists of members of angura kei bands – メトロノーム (Metronome) and 東京ヒーローズ (Tokyo Heroes)
Vocal, Guitar, Sequence: 小林写楽 (Kobayashi Sharaku) || ex. メトロノーム (Metronome); now in FLOPPY & カッコー (Cuckoo)
Bass: ゴキミ (Gokimi) || now in 東京ヒーローズ (Tokyo Heroes) and グルグル映畫館 (Guruguru Eigakan)
Drums: 新太郎 (Shintarou) || ex. いろは (Iroha) → メトロノーム (Metronome); now in FLOPPY [support]

Thanks to Shintomo for sending this in to us <3!! Looks like Mr. SaTaN (of SaTaN) has a new project up his sleeves... a solo project~! The band announced back in the Fall that D.K. and SHIYA would be leaving the group. No worries the group is continuing but for the time being seems like Mr. SaTaN's solo project has some surprises for us, including a mini album!!

New solo project – Kuu

【空-くぅ-】 (Kuu) is a new solo project started by ぼん。(Bon). The official and support members are as follows:
Vocal＆Lyric: ぼん。(Bon.) || ex. 灯人〜ともしびと〜 (Tomoshibito)
Guitar＆Program: ハラシマツヨシ (Haratsu Matsuyoshi) || ex. shushu
Suport Bass: 創 (Kizu)
Support Drums: しょう。(Shou.)
On September 28th they’ve started selling a single called 「砕け散った想をかき集め奏デルは僕ラ」(Kudake Chitta Sou wo Kaki Atsume Kanaderu wa Bokura). You can either get in their official online shop (not sure if it’s possible for overseas fans) and during their lives. It costs 500 yen and contains following tracks:
1. 感受性創造論 (Kanjusei Souzouron)
2. アイデンティクト (Identict)

Today we have certainly interesting project to introduce to you. It’s called 「kanon×kanon」 and it’s members indeed are cellist and vocalist Wakeshima Kanon and “Creator of Akiba kei”, Kanon of Antic Cafe. They are teaming up to make an opening song for Fuji TV anime 「屍鬼」 (Shiki).
The opening song「カレンデュラ レクイエム」 (Calendula Requiem) will be released as a single too on November 17th in three types. The limited edition with bonus DVD costs 1,500 yen and limited time edition 1,200 yen. Limited time pressing will have anime jacket and TV size version of the opening song. It will be sold only until the end of December 2010. Regular edition also costs 1,200 yen.
Tracklist for the single is as follows:

Toshi’s solo comeback

Some more X Japan news, this time positive and focused around vocalist, Toshi. Last time we talked about Toshi as a solo artist, he was going through hard times with his divorce and departure of Home of the Heart label. Now he is back and there is even talk about a new single coming out soon!
X Japan vocalist Toshi (44) recently stated in an interview that he will be resuming his solo activities later with a new single next month. He also mentioned that he will team up with Yoshiki to start a new project next year.
Earlier this year, Toshi revealed that he was divorcing his wife Kaori after more than 12 years of marriage. He also finally severed ties with the Home of Heart group (labeled by many as a cult), though he had to declare personal bankruptcy as most of his money has gone to that organization. In February, he held a “sayonara concert” to symbolize his break away from his past.
Now, with the help of his friend and bandmate Yoshiki, Toshi is getting back on his feet. In May, Toshi finished a piano and violin ballad titled “Crystal Piano no Kimi” and recorded it at Yoshiki’s studio in Los Angeles. The song will be released as a single in late September.
In addition, the two of them are launching a project in January called “Toshi feat. YOSHIKI,” though it will start off as just a solo project by Toshi. They are still determining how it will develop, though they seem to be planning to release CDs and hold concerts domestically and overseas, while still being involved with X Japan.

SaT is a new and intriguing time-limited project, which will have their first live on August 9th. The members are:

New Band: Rose:bad

Corota (ex-Araune) has a new project entitled Rose:bad which just started up activities on July 7th.

It’s time for some good news for a change. 悠 (Yuu), ex. vocalist of ゾディア (Zodia) has started a solo project called Ultimate Sonic. It seems that it will be only a limited time unit though, which will cease to be active in March 2011.
It seems that the details about the support members will be revealed on the 1st of August.
Anyway, he will distribute the first CD on the 18th of August during his sponsored event. The CD will be entitled 「時のキズ」(Toki no Kizu) and will contain one title song only. The event will take place on that day at OSAKA HOLIDAY under the name 「Ultimate World」. More details to follow.

The three remaining members of Misaruka along with Rin (ex-Amaryllies) are forming a new temporary project entitled Project -Merrow-.

エゴis≒徒 (Egoist), who recently lost their drummer, has again bad news. Their guitarist akane had to be hospitalized some time back and now he is leaving the band until he has made full recovery. Following announcement is from his blog:
From akane, to all of our fans,
First, to all of the Egoist members, the members of love:Re, and everyone connected to the band, I’m truly sorry for the trouble that I have caused and for being defeated.
I received a poster with sentiments and paper cranes from of our love:Re members.
Everyone, thank you.
I guess now, I’ll be be leaving Egoist for a while, and more than ever I love Eogist and all of our fans. You are all truly, truly important to me, and as I have no other place where I can express this, I want to tell you again how I feel.
You guys… I wanted to go forward together, but I guess there’s still a little more time that has to pass until I can stand in front of everyone again.
But I’ll be back for sure, so I want you to not forget and to wait for me.
Because my heart is always with you.

Luckily Rouis and Hasune aren’t giving up though. They have decided to go on by name Littleエゴis≒徒2℃.
Thank you to all of our fans for your continuous support.
On this occasion, we have decided that due to our drummer, Masami leaving and until our guitarist, akane, can make a full recovery, from our live on May 29th, Egoist’s activities will instead be continued by Rouis and Hasune’s unit, “Little Egoist 2℃.
Personally, Little Egoist sounds cute and cool, but I’ll look forward for Egoist’s return too.

Hiro and Masami, both ex gossip have finally started a new session band together. The group is called 7addict and has four acting members at the moment. Their first sponsored event called ～Probability change vol.1～, will be held on June 21st at Shinjuku RUIDO K4. Advance ticket sales start soon and will be 2,500 and 3,000 yen at the door. Other bands who will be playing are: Velvet, ALSDEAD, Para:noir, Elm, and Egoist.

大佑 (Daisuke) has set a solo project for himself called 大佑と黒の隠者達 (Daisuke to Kuro no Injatachi)! It looks very interesting to me, especially their picture from the OHP:
As stated above, he is planning to release a first maxi-single on the 2nd of June, entitled 「翻弄」(Honrou). It will cost 1260 yen and contain 2 songs:

Schwarz’s limited project : the Distorted my stratic Faith

A few months after Schwarz has left ケミカルピクチャーズ (Chemical Pictures), it seems he’s already back on the scene with a brand new (but time-limited) project called the Distorted my stratic Faith. So far, the band is only made of two members: Schwarz and さくら (Sakura) who’s been in SKULL from 2003 to July 2008.
They have also announced a few events they’ll be taking part in, but no release seems to be planned so far (if they ever release anything).
This looks really nice to me, and the members are also really cool, but I wonder, with just a guitarist and a bassist, who’s singing? Or is it just instrumental? I know they already have at least 6 songs but I wonder how it sounds… What do you think?
