As announced tonight on Tainted Reality, BLOOD is embarking on their final tour in the U.S.
Apparently, there is no bad blood between the members, as it was a mutual decision to go their separate ways. No specific details on why they decided this was released, however.
And it seems Fu-ki and Kaede are retiring from music. (Credit: Tsukasa)

Tainted Reality is also bringing over a few other artists for the tour: GPKism, Echostream and DJ SiSeN.

I just read this bulletin from Dir en grey’s MySpace page and I thought it might be of some interest.
The bulletin reads as follows:
Today, Headbangers Blog premiered DIR EN GREY’s new video for “Dozing Green,” the twelfth track from the band’s forthcoming seventh studio effort, UROBOROS. The video was directed by the band’s longtime collaborator Hiroyuki Kondo, and took two and a half months to create from filming to post-production!
Be sure to check it out HERE RIGHT NOW! Then stay tuned for it’s television debut, scheduled to air at 2AM this Saturday on MTV2’s Headbangers Ball…
Never thought I’d get to Dir en grey on MTV2, let alone on US TV at all. ^^

More details on Dio’s European tour
Posted on October 24, 2008 at 7:52 am (2 Comments)
![]()
I posted here about Dio’s upcoming European tour, but since then there’s been some changes in the dates so I’m posting about it again.
First of all, the live in Finland was supposed to be on November 30th, but the band’s management wants them to have a leisure day on that day, so the concert has been rescheduled to the next day, December 1st. Please note that the live will NOT be cancelled, it’s confirmed already, just that the date has changed.
If you bought a ticket for the live on 30th, you can enter with the same ticket on the 1st. If you can’t go because of the date change (after all, it changed from Sunday to Monday), you can get return the ticket and get your money back if you do it by November 15th.
There has also been quite a few additions to the tour, so here’s the complete list of all the dates and venues!
2008.11.18 Munich, Germany
2008.11.19 Zurich, Switzerland
2008.11.21 Hengelo, Netherlands
2008.11.23 Berlin, Germany
2008.11.25 Poznan, Poland
2008.11.26 London, UK
2008.11.28 Cologne, Germany
2008.11.29 Paris, France
2008.12.01 Helsinki, Finland
2008.12.02 Barcelona, Spain
Also, please note that even though the official site lists Sweden as well, the live in Sweden has been cancelled. Also, the Finland date is confirmed even though it’s not on the official site.

Big Ern doesn’t even know who to credit for this bulletin on myspace. Everyone and their mother apparently posted about it. I guess I could make this ridiculously long list of everyone that posted it…but you get the point. Everyone also mentions tour dates and venue info coming soon. Anyways…here it is:
The past few years we have seen a sudden boom of the Japanese Culture in America. For example; anime, music, fashion and technology. When someone initially analyzes a band, they usually first notice what style of clothing they are wearing. From there on they can tell whether or not the band is a certain kind of genre. In the music business, fashion is one of the factors that decides whether a band is going to be successful or not. What we want to showcase is not just the fact that clothes make the band, but the band embodies and defines the fashion that also helps define them.

I posted here about MANNEQUIN and SINCREA going to perform at Tsukicon in Finland, but unfortunately MANNEQUIN had to cancel the live and their tour has been postponed to a later date.
SINCREA is still going to come though, and they’re going to perform on the 18th with GARI.
