Back in January of this year, a compilation album called 『CRUSH!-90’s V-Rock best hit cover songs-』 was released.
On November 23rd, they’ll be releasing a second compilation album of the same name and concept!
The title is 『CRUSH!2-90’s V-Rock best hit cover songs-』 and it will cost 3000 yen for sixteen tracks.

Seems like there was an error on the new Sequence Records VA and now the release date has been pushed back. Instead of being released on December 29th of this year, we’ll have to wait another month for the release! New date for release is on January 26th. We first talked about the release over here.

New Nagoya-focused omnibus

Like an Edison, ShimizuyaRecords, and Double River Record have teamed up to bring a new volume of the Rebels series of omnibuses. The series focuses on attention-worthy bands in the Nagoya region, and the last volume was released five years ago!
The new omnibus is called Rebels -2011-, and will be sold exclusively at Like an Edison for 2,011 yen. As a special privilege, those who buy the omnibus will receive a 2011 calendar card featuring all of the bands. Here’s the [tentative] tracklist:

This is what I call an amazing piece of news! It seems there will be a new cover omnibus album and a really cool one, I have to admit! Current Visual Kei bands are going to cover some of the biggest hits from the 90′s from the VK scene. Doesn’t it sound awesome?

Visual kei magazine SHOXX is releasing a new omnibus in February of 2011. The mail-order-limited omnibus is called Explosion showcase, and will feature two CDs of new, previously unreleased, and rare songs from over 30 bands! Although the exact tracklisting probably won’t be revealed for some time, the participating artists have already been announced:

New omnibus from Sequence Records

Indie label Sequence Records will be having its 10th anniversary soon and has decided to release an omnibus to celebrate. The omnibus is called FINAL SUMMIT, and will be released on December 29th.
The two-disc release will collect songs (including some SE tracks) from the many artists that Sequence Records has signed or supported over the years. It seems that all of the songs will be previously-released ones, but they will be remastered. In addition to some as-yet unannounced ones, participating artists include:

There is a new Sendai-based omnibus coming out August 1st! It will be entitled 「MVP48」, and it will include 12 songs from 12 different bands who all make up the MVP48! MVP48 stands for “Michinoku-Visual-Project” and the 48 is the number of members in each band combined! The omnibus includes the following bands:

We talked about Darkest Labyrinth releasing a collective CD featuring bands from the label over here. Now Starwave Records is going to be releasing a label VA on June 30th.

Darkest Labyrinth is about to celebrate their 3rd year as a label, lucky for fans the label is bringing out their second VA collection cd! Cd contains 13 tracks from various artists, most from the actual label. Thats not the only big news, they are also having an event to go with the release!

little HEARTS. have announced an interesting omnibus album! It will include the songs only by Sendai-based bands. The album itself will be released on the 19th of May for 2500 yen. To commemorate the release there will be an insore event held on the same day at little HEARTS. store with the participating bands.

TATSUYA’s best selection album

TATSUYA, the vocalist of WHITEBLACK has decided to release his “best selection album”, containing music from his previous bands and projects. It will be entitled 「Largest ever scream」 and go on sale on the 28th of April for 3150 yen. What is more, it will be limited to 500 copies only and contain 16 songs total:

Cure omnibus CD

I’ve already mentioned the omnibus some time ago, but there are finally more details. As said before, it will be entitled 「Cure NEW AGE COLLECTIONS」and go on sale with the Cure magazine vol. 81 on the 21st of April. The tracklist is as follows:

Six Bullet’z going on activity pause

First of all some good news. The band will be featured in UNDERCODE PRODUCTION KISAKI’s selection omnibus CD, entitled 「Cure NEW AGE COLLECTIONS」which will go on sale with the Cure magazine on the 21st of April.
However, there are some bad news as well. Six Bullet’z went on activity pause on the 27th, according to the statement on their OHP:
Due to the drummer yu-ya’s situation at his home,
there has been difficulties in continuing our current activities,
and so it had been decided that we, Six Bullet’z, will be going on an activity pause
after the Butterfly Effect sponsored event entitled『リアプノフ指数』(Lyapunov Shisuu) on 27th February at the MESSE HALL in Sapporo.Since Des’segnay, we have worked together for many years,
but as the reasoning for the pause is due to circumstances at home [for a certain member],
it can not be solved within the members ourselves, and it was with great regret that this decision was made.After taking part in 「極北ノヲト」 (Kyokuhoku no Oto) last autumn, recieving such an offer from Cure,
as well as other great news, all of us members were ready to advance and continue moving forward,
but now we do not know how to feel.We hope to put our all in our gig on the 27th February at the Sapporo MESSE HALL,
so please come and see us!
