Two new members for Virgil

Virgil have announced that two new members have joined their ranks!
The new members, both guitarists, are たかと (Takato) [ex-BLACK LINE] and るた (Luta) [ex-Le Vert].
As Virgil fans probably know, the band is a set of stewards, who each have their own special persona and role in the band that goes beyond just playing their instrument.
Takato’s profile reads the following:
At a mansion in a certain country, the stewards [Virgil members] had overheard a rumor about a steward that could manage household affairs at an outrageously quick speed. So, they scouted him.
It was then that the members of Virgil witnessed an amazing spectacle.
Even though he [Takato] had just sat down at the desk, the notebook that is used for keeping the member’s schedules became filled with characters as if done on its own.
But it was because Takato’s fingers were so fast, that their eyes didn’t even see him write.
Now, he is the fastest steward in Virgil.
“The crimson flash, Takato” is the steward in charge of scheduling.
Everyone will be surprised
at the speed of his fingertips.
As for Luta:
Originally, he began by observing another butler, and at least his talent cooking and being a sommelier bloomed.
And now even tonight, he’s flourishing with his magnificent cookware.
He manipulates the flames.
In reality, while observing another master’s steward, he secretly travelled around, gaining skills at various restaurants.
At last, he earned full mastery in everything from Vichyssoise to tempura.
He, who is the steward that can handle the blue flame with such grace is called,
“Blue lightning Luta”.

Yuuha Joins Lilt

Though リルト (Lilt) hasn’t officially updated their website yet, they’ve brought in a new guitarist after Akito’s departure early last year. Yuuha posted a very brief introduction on his blog:

The reading is
“Yuuha”!
From here on out I’m a member of Lilt!
In a more recent post he’s mentioned that his current photo is from his old band, but since he hasn’t finished photographing with Lilt yet he’s using it as a stand-in, and has promised to update his photo as soon as it’s possible.

U-YA joins LANDZ

LANDZ have announced that as of January 14th, they have added a new member to their band!
The band’s newest addition is drummer, U-YA (ex-D’AIR, ex-AMETHYST), who has been doing support for them but is now an official member.
U-YA already has an official LANDZ Twitter setup for himself, so follow him @landz_u_ya!.
For his first post he wrote:
I’ve officially joined LANDZ. On drums, I’m U-YA. I hope as a member of LANDZ that we can enjoy our time together, so I’m looking forward to it. In any case, it’s been awesome meeting these guys!

Thanks to everyone who came out to our live on the 14th!
We were last to play, so we went on late, but I was so shappy that a lot of people were still there to see us!
We were there until the end of the encore, which was seriously great for me, and I felt like I wanted it to go on forever (^-^)v

Takebou Joins Rubik

Rubik’s back to being a five-member band!
Reported on guitarist Shion’s blog on January 5th:
Starting today
new member
Takebou
joins!
His official membership starts in February but
he’ll be active [with us] starting at January lives so
everyone, support him!
The fact that he’s not “official” yet means that the band has yet to add him to their website, but he’s already playing lives and has changed his name on his blog to Rubik Gt. Takebou.
I expect we can look forward to an official update from the band next month.

L Resumes Activity with Wataru

Giving credit where credit is due, one of our readers mentioned several weeks ago that ex-ワルガキ (Warugaki) guitarist Wataru would move over to join L (formerly L~Lotus~). After a (re?) launch of their homepage on January 10, it looks like Wataru is settled and the band is ready to go with several upcoming lives:

As of November 26th at HOLIDAY SHINJUKU, 将海(masaumi) (ex-Juliette) had officially joined BugLug as their new drummer.

New Member for Jackman

Jackman, after losing LonLon on October 3oth, has added a new bassist to their ranks! His name is Yu-ta, and he will officially join them at their oneman titled 「死刑」on December 8th. This date also marks the restarting of their activities! They have also updated and added a PC section to their OHP, so check that out also!

New member and releases for Otogadead

It was announced that Dr. Hibiki (ex-The studs) has officially joined Otogadead, after playing as their support for a while! Also, the band will have 3 months consecutive releases in form of digital singles! The first release date for 「二足歩行のススメ」(Nisokuhokou no susume) is on 25th November, next one for 「色即是空エトセトラ」 (Shikisokuzekuu et cetera) on 25th December and the last one-「宣誓メタモルフォーゼ」 (Sensei metamorphose) on 25th January. The cost for all singles will be 200 Yen, but no tracklists were announced. The important is that these releases can only be purchased with WebMoney.

ALSDEAD gains a new member and releases

Good news for ALSDEAD fans! The band has announced that 陽佑 (Yosuke, ex-auncia), who has been support member after Reito left the band, joined the band officially! They also have a mini album release coming and updated OHP with new look.
As the picture above says, the new mini album is called MODALITY and comes out next year on February 29th. It will include 7 songs and cost 2,310 yen. Tracklist isn’t yet available, but one of the tracks will be re-recording of their song 「FRAGILE」.

Two new members for Pan-d-ra

As we said back in march, after departure of Vo. SHIOW and Gu. Xi, Pan-d-ra held open auditions for new members! It seems that they have finally found suitable new members for their band!
They are:
Vocal: Toshiki (ex. Faralis)
Guitar: Tsubasa
Pan-d-ra will hold an oneman live with new members on 18th November in Ikebukuro BlackHole, on which they will give away a demo disc with new songs!

New Serial⇔Number members

Serial⇔Number (シリアル⇔NUMBER) have added new members including one of my favorite band guys – Mihiro! It was just the end of 2010 when we announced Serial⇔Number going down to just Jin as the single member. We also reported that he was auditioning for new members and now the new line up has been revealed!

new drummer for DOG in the PWO

Just another quick note for the band – in addition to the new releases they finally added an official drummer to their line up! His name is Kanna and if you don’t recognize him, he use to be in the beloved Tokyo Michael until their disbandment in early 2011. He officially joined at the end of June.

new bass player for RED universe + label change

As of May 20th ral has become an official member of RED universe. For those who recognize him he used to be in Cinema [S'trip]! The band also announced from this point on they will be on DUAL VISION label and to celebrate they will be releasing 2 new singles with the new label.
The singles are set to be released back to back with one dropping August 3rd and the second on September 21st. Titles and track listing unknown at this moment. ALSO they announced their first sponsorship live event under DUAL VISION will be on July 30th, no details at the moment but we’ll let you guys know!

Vanish back to four

In November of last year, Vanish lost their bassist re-ji. Then in April, they lost their guitarist kenny. However, as of May 19th their support member, JUN (ex-velgat), has officially joined the band!
The band’s vocalist, MAY, wrote the following in his blog:
Also, regarding Vanish’s new member, as of today
JUN, who has been doing support for us for some time,
has become an official member of the band.
From hereon, we’ll keep going with even more spirit, so

Variations gains bass player

Variations now has a bass player – the trio has now become a quartet! Bass player is name Hide and joined officially at the end of 2010. The site has been updated with a new look. They seem more polished don’t you think?
He officially joined after they released their 3rd single Endless Darkness late November. So far all their singles are still live only. What do you think?

New vocalist for dizSolid

Let’s begin with this – apparently dizSolid lost their vocalist 百合 (Yuri) in February, but the band has now gained a new member – ex-NaiL vocalist Akira! His name now is 緑 (Ryoku) and his blog is here.

Good news for Luzmelt fans! The band has added a new member, guitarist reyto, and updated OHP with new outfits! Go check them out.
The band has also a new oneman live scheduled. 『gateway of specular』 of will take place at Takadanobaba AREA on September 16th. Tickets will cost 3,000 yen in advance and 3,500 at doors.

Kra’s new member & new look

A few months ago, we told you about Mai’s retirement, leaving Kra with 3 members.
Now the band has found their new guitarist.
According to PS Company’s website, タイゾ(Taizo) (ex.Zoro) has officially joined Kra as their new guitarist.
Not only that, their OHP have also been updated with the band’s new look with タイゾ(Taizo).
