    GLACIER is a five-member group from Okinawa, comprising of Makoto on vocals, Nao on lead guitar, Koujirou on rhythm guitar, Aki on bass, and Yuuki on drums.     O-PARTS is a two-man unit that started in June of 2009, formed by vocalist sho-ka (ex. Vogus Image) and bassist Jun (GaGaaalinG, ex. WAIVE). ワン★スター (One★Star) is a fairly new band, which has recently joined Shimizuya Records (a label of Lycaon and Re:dis). The members of the band are:

From time to time we will get a new band who tries to be mysterious and secretive, revealing only clues to who they might be. In this case we will have to wait until the new year for a glimpse of the new band -varell-. So far we only know there are five members.

レクレンズ (Rekurenzu) is a new band who will be having their first live on October 16th!

The band is made up of some familiar faces:

Vocals - みさき (Misaki)
Guitar & Programming – クマ (Kuma) [ex-beaU, ex-AibeLL, ex-GizeL]
Bass - ゆずき (Yuzuki) [ex-jail, ex-Homura]
Drums - まぁ (Mar) [ex-SectMa, ex-GizeL]

The band will be releasing their first maxi single on October 16th and it will be titled 「フィルターメィカー」 (Filter Maker). The single will be available for sale at CD shops around the country and more details will be released in the future.

On the same day, they will also be giving out a free demo CD at their live called 「オリジナリティウォーカー」 (Originality Walker).

The band’s OHP and schedule after the 16th has not yet been published, but we’ll update you when they are!

VKB428 makes live debut

Okay readers – I need your honest opinion about this next story. Seems like there is a new twist to this group, normally groups like this are in the pop field but these guys are considering themselves visual kei. Their name is VKB428, which stands for Visual-kei Boys Shibuya (428 stands for Shibuya). They are a 7 boy group and so far it seems they are not done yet adding members. There is an audition section to their home page.

Their producer is Seiji who is the main vocals for SAMURAI BALL and has also been in projects like AGE-OF-EP, AcQuA EP and Club ACQUA. The other producer is Yoshinobu Toida who has done music for X Japan and Glay. Apparently this all started with an audition of over 2,000 guys and they select these 7 intial members.

The group will be broken up into 3 sub groups. V-team which will be the main guys, K-team which will have the sub guys and B-team which will contain the replacements. They had their first live on August 21st and were joined on the stage with familiar faces – Yugiri and Kazami of DaizyStripper. VKB428 are scheduled to hold another live on September 25th.

So what do you think? Marketing gimmick or do you like the idea? Opinions please. I think this project won’t last very long ><;

Time for another new band’s introduction! BONMAQUARY is a band which formed in May this year, but their first live was held on June 26th. Anyway, the band’s line-up is:

With all the disbandings lately it’s nice to see a few new bands popping up every now and then!

6→7 (pronounced Upper) is a new band that will be having their first live on October 5th at Takadanobaba AREA at dolore’s two consectuive month event, 「DIVINE REVOLUTION Vol.1」.

They are currently made up of four members:

Vocals – 蛍 (Hotaru) [ex-ミラレタ (Miraleta)]
Guitar – .あき。 (Aki)
Guitar – ROM
Bass – たくみ (Takumi)

Each of the members have blogs set up on Ameba, so make sure you check them out!

Also starting on October 5th, they will be releasing their first (free) demo CD! The title is 『穏やかな眠りのためのモルヒネ』 (Odayaka na Nemuri no tame no Morphine) and it will be available at lives as well as at select indie shops.

XA-VAT – new Shuuji Ishii’s and Közi’s band?

Okay, this is piece of news, which definitely made my day, even if not much of it has been confirmed yet. It seems that there is a new band called XA-VAT, which according to many sources has a following line-up:

Vocal: 石井秀二 (Ishii Shuuji) || ex. さくらん → フロート (Float) → cali≠gari → goatbed
Guitar: Közi || ex. Girl → 摩天楼 (Matenrou) → MALICE MIZER → Eve of Destiny, Solo → DALLE
???: Sadie Pink Galaxy || ex. JUBILEE → SPEECIES

Anyway, they have an OHP set already, but there aren’t any details yet, but I hope there will appear more information soon! The link itself appeared on goatbed’s MySpace.

I have seen many blogs mentioning a oneman live as well, which is supposed to take place on December 2nd at LIQUIDROOM Ebisu.

Please note that none of this information is 100% confirmed, but I thought I should post nevertheless, since some of you might be interested in what Kozi and Shuuji are up to.

Time for another introduction post, isn’t it. Today I want to talk about two new bands – VizeL and CHILD THEATER.

VizeL is a fairly new band, which had their first live on June 29th. The members are:

Bass: ジン (Zin)
Drums: 那池-NACHI-

Do you remember when we talked about ex. bis Seika’s new band? Well, they have had their first live on August 9th at Nagoya BOTTOM LINE. There are finally more details available, so, first of all, let me say who the band consists of:

ANOTHER DIMENSION have some exciting news for all the band’s fans!

First of all, they’re going to have their 1st oneman on August 16 at Shibuya O-Crest. It will be held under the title 「LAST SMILE～嫌なんです。アナタが逝ってしまうのが…～」 (LAST SMILE～Iyanan Desu. Anata ga Itteshimashou ga…～). The tickets cost 2500 yen in advance and 3000 yen at the door.

Furthermore, they’ll sponsor 3-months consecutive events together with a new band called ポルターガイスト (Polter Geist) – all of them will be entitled 「Ghost Town’s Noisy Parade」. The schedule looks as follows:

They are gonna release their first single 「愛終～アイシュウ～」 (Aishuu) for free on August 20th and a mini-album 「純愛傷説」(Junai Kizusetsu). Mini album costs 2,625 yen.

Lauder had their first live at Ikebukuro Cyber on July 7th and their next one is at Shinjuku HOLIDAY on August 25th. Not much information again, but members are as follows:

Vocal – レン (Len)
Guitar – MAST || ex. Aliene Ma’riage → Noir fleurir → MIL → DropStarShooting [Support]
Guitar – コウスケ (Kousuke) || ex. AI-版 (AI-Ban)→ α:Vout
Bass – Takuya || ex. Atelier → Spider lily ; also in 日々全てを飲み込むフカモカ (Fukamoka) [band on hiatus]
Drum – 大樹 (Taiju)

Libertine – introduction and news

リバティーン (Libertine) is a band which has formed in 2009. Originally it consisted only of こう (Kou) and Shin, however few months the other two members joined and now the band’s line-up is:

Vocal: こう (Kou)
Guitar: kazu || ex. スカラブレイ (Skarabrae)
Bass: Shin
Drums: rei || ex. ガイアプラネット (Gaia:Planet)

On September 30th they’ll release their first single entitled 「FLASH BACK」. It will cost 1260 yen and contain following tracks:
・FLASH BACK
・ラピスラズリ

To commemorate the release the band will sponsor a special event on that same day. It will be held at Ikebukuro BLACK HOLE under the title 「少女革命‐其ノ壱‐」(Shoujou Kakumei-Shi no Ichi-). Other participating bands are: auncia, SOMATIC GUARDIAN, FEECHE,『7191…』, R指定 (R-Shitei) and Ap(r)il. The tickets cost 2500 yen in advance and 3000 yen at the door.

Corota (ex-Araune) has a new project entitled Rose:bad which just started up activities on July 7th.

The members are:
Vo. かがみ-Kagami-
Gu. ころた-Corota-

They’ve already decided on a live and it will be on September 4th at SOUND AGE -Vol 6- which takes place at Ikebukuro 3-tri-.

New band – Reload

リロード (Reload) is another completely fresh Dear Dolce band, which will debut on September 1st. The band consists of:

Vocal: 夜季 (Yoki) || ex. ヴェルゼ (Vell;ze)
Guitar: 磔 (Taku) || ex. ヴェルゼ (Vell;ze)
Bass: くゆる (Kuyuru) || ex. LIP SERVICE
Drums: 彩璃 (Sairi) || ex. Twicer

Their first live on September 1st at Ikebukuro RUIDO K3 will also mark the release of their first maxi-single. It will be entitled 「LOST MIND」 and will cost 1260 yen.

Finally, they have already announced a free oneman live, which will take place at Ikebukuro RUIDO K3 on March 29th 2011! There are no further details available except the live’s title – 「Unlimited_Re:Load」.

≪-EVA-≫ is a completely new Dear Dolce band, which will start their activities on August 31st! The members are:

Vocal: れーあ (Le-a) || ex. Vega → NEXX
Bass: 一新 (Isshin)

As mentioned above, their first live will take place on August 31st at Ikebukuro RUIDO K3. Furthermore, on the same day they’ll release their first maxi-single entitled 「空想ノセカイ」(Kuusou no Sekai), which will cost 1050 yen. The tracklist is:

1. 空想ノセカイ (Kuusou no Sekai)
2. オーヴァードライブ (Overdrive)

Finally, on January 31st 2011, they’ll hold their first sponsored event at Shibuya O-Crest, which will beentitled 「First Impact」. There is still no information, however, about what other bands will participate in it. Anyway, the tickets will cost 3000 yen in advance, and 3500 yen at the door.

キッド (Kid) is a new band, which has just opened their OHP yesterday. They’ll have their first live on August 10th @ Shibuya RUIDO K2. Anyway, there is no picture available so far, but let me introduce the members:

Guitar: 慎太郎 (Shintarou) || ex. 「あゃ」(Aya) → GeNe
