Here’s something out of the ordinary, even when it comes to Visual Kei.
This band has been around since the summer of 2012, but since we have not introduced them on Shattered Tranquility yet, this is being filed under an introduction post.
VAMPIRE ROSE is the solo project of Count ROSE, who is actually the chief of a themed restaurant in Ginza called Vampire Cafe. Support members are from different bands. They have had a few lives this year already, but they will be having their first one-man event on April 29th at Birth Shinjuku, followed by a dinner party at Christon Cafe in Tokyo. A big announcement is planned for that day, so if you’re interested, you’d better go!

We hesitated a bit with posting this information since it was brought to our attention on April Fool’s Day, but now we can confirm that this is, indeed, true!
Jupiter is a 5-member band with Universal Music Japan. The branch they are debuting under is more directed towards Western music and an international audience, so it’s rumored that their activities are more directed globally.
The line-up will seem very familiar to many of you; with the exception of the vocalist (ZIN), all of the previous members of Versailles are a part of Jupiter.

Information on their OHP right now is scarce, but they have confirmed their first single release will be in Summer 2013 titled “Blessing of the Future” under the record label Thunderball667.

We’ve got a new band based in Tokyo to introduce today.
VOW is a 4-piece band that will begin its live activities starting from May 21st, 2013. On March 20th, they made their first audio release with 「ロンリーラビット」 (Lonely Rabbit). It includes three tracks: 「ロンリーラビット」, 「キケンな愛」 (Kiken na Ai), and 「心の果て」 (Kokoro no hate). The bad news is that it can only be purchased in Japan. The good news is that the band has decided to release all three tracks included on the CD as free MP3 files on their official home page! Just visit their “SOUND” section to listen.

Looks like we have good news for fans of Dolly this week! Mitsu and former member Yuina, now of World Wrap Word, have banded together to form a new experimental project band, and today their OHP opened!

It seems that most people forget about bands outside of the local Tokyo area, so it’s always nice to see an up-and-coming band from other parts of Japan! So, it’s nice to finally have the opportunity to introduce a new Nagoya-based band that has hit the scene very recently!
Forming back in May of 2012, Black Klaxon has finally reached out of their local Nagoya after having their first One Man at Nagoya 3 Club Star Imaike last week. They currently have a handful of upcoming lives in Tokyo and Osaka, but that doesn’t seem to be the only good news for this fledgling band! At their first One Man they announced a new maxi-single, a tour, and two One Mans in their hometown of Nagoya and Tokyo.

Their first live took place on February 27th at Ikebukuro BlackHole, and they’re already starting off with a mission! They’ll be releasing a new single on March 6th, title 「東京ジャンキー」(Tokyo Junkie). It’ll come in two types, a Red Disk and Blue Disk, both costing ￥1000. Each version will come with either a PV for 東京ジャンキー, or “Deep Blue.”

It appears we haven’t introduced this band yet! Formed in late 2012, ブレーメン (Bremen) have already released two singles, and are planning to release three more starting this March.

We’ll keep you updated when more becomes available.
They also have a series of lives set up for the coming future! Each event will cost ￥3000 to attend.

A few days ago, Hina (ex-hurts) announced on his blog that a new band named “Lucifer’s underground” has formed! The only information released so far is the band members and their first live taking place at Zepp Nagoya.

As we announced earlier, OROCHI’s Guitarist Yukimura left the band recently, and it seems he is already preparing a new band!
Yukimuri (who has changed his stagename to Lyo) posted the following on his facebook in English about the creation of his new band.

This time, I formed a new band Xrista.
I decided to change the name to Lyo(椋).
I will not get used to everyone because it was a familiar name for four years, you should become familiar because little by little the heck♪

I was going to transfer the ameba blog.

Though no official photos (other than the band’s logo) have been revealed and the OHP has yet to be created, Xrista officially formed on February 1st. What we can tell you is limited due to the nature of the news, but with some heavy research we found out a little more about Xrista.

Introducing: AvelCain

I don’t know about you, but my favorite thing is finding new, promising bands! It also tends to help heal the number of disbandments we’ve been hearing about as of late. So, without further ado, let me introduce AvelCain!
AvelCain is a new heavy-metalesque Visual Kei band that appeared on the Tokyo circuit back in early 2012. It’s only been recently that anything has come of the band, other than a heavy number of lives, as they were signed to Shimizuya Records on November 25th (You probably know Shimizua records as the label currently hosting Lycaon). The band consists of six members (I know there are only 5 people in the photograph, so please bear with me!) with their sound emphasizing vicious harmonics (both bass and drums are heavily highlighted) along with dual guitars and melodic (albeit terrifying and slightly morbid) vocals. This is a band that enjoys the atmosphere of the stage, so music and visual aesthetic are top-notch.

AvelCain will be releasing its first single, titled 『蛇と姑獲鳥』(Hebi to Ubume) on February 20th, 2013. A track list has yet to be announced, but we do know that two versions will be available for ¥1600 each.
In addition to this first single release, AvelCain will be participating in two special tours! The first will be Shimizuya Records Presents『 Cultivate the fields.』Tour. Andmore becomes a full fledged band

Andmore is a continuing session band that started back in July of this year, who have recently announced that as of December, they will be a full fledged band!
Andmore consists of five members:

Bass: 秋斗 (Akito) [ex-biz cloud, ex-Casiss, ex-MiX☆Berry]
Drums: 悠一 (Yuuichi) [ex-Warui Yatsu, ex-Rhythmy, ex-Kazoku]
So far, they have released one live limited one coin single called “Can’t it”.
Their official “real” start will be on December 3rd at HOLIDAY SHINJUKU, where they will be sponsoring an event in celebration. Tickets to the event cost 2500 yen.
