In 2002, Kaya made his vocal debut in the Mana produced two-man unit, Schwarz Stein. In 2004, Schwarz Stein disbanded, and departing from the label the band was signed to, Kaya became a free singer.

born is a five member band that began together under RENNY AMY, which was active from August 2005, until December 31st, 2006. Shortly after, the same five members created D&L, and eventually changed their name to ‘born’ on April 9th, 2008 with the sponsored event at Takadanobaba AREA called “born presents 「bug scremo vol.01」”. 砂月-Satsuki- began his solo career on February 14th, 2009, after spending seven years as the vocalist for RENTRER EN SOI.
His first solo release, 「AWAKE」 came out via his online shop on May 9th, and that month he also started his 「AWAKENING TO MOONLIGHT」 tour, which even made a stop in Los Angeles, California. A few months after Schwarz has left ケミカルピクチャーズ (Chemical Pictures), it seems he’s already back on the scene with a brand new (but time-limited) project called the Distorted my stratic Faith. So far, the band is only made of two members: Schwarz and さくら (Sakura) who’s been in SKULL from 2003 to July 2008.
They have also announced a few events they’ll be taking part in, but no release seems to be planned so far (if they ever release anything).
This looks really nice to me, and the members are also really cool, but I wonder, with just a guitarist and a bassist, who’s singing? Or is it just instrumental? I know they already have at least 6 songs but I wonder how it sounds… What do you think?
PieRis is a very fresh band, which actually will have their first live on the 6th of April at Shinjuku RUIDO K4! Anyway, the members are:

The single will be pre-sold at the band’s first live, which is actually also their sponsored event! It will be called 『TOY BOX vol.1』 and the other bands performing are: レム (Rem), MURASAKI, エザリー (Eatherly). The tickets cost 2500 yen when bought in advance and 3000 yen at the door.
The band, which is called 「凛」 (Rin) will have their first live on May 23rd at Namba Hatch in OSAKA, when they participate in 「Over the Edge ‘10 @ OSAKA」. Tickets to the show cost 7350 yen, and the other bands playing will be 12012, Girugamesh, Sadie, D=OUT, Doremidan, heidi., Vidoll, Mix Speaker’s,Inc, as well as ’several’ session bands.
Not many details on the band are available yet, but you can be sure we’ll keep you updated as more information comes out!
L～Lotus～ is a new session band, which includes few ex. as milk members. Actually, the band will start their official activities on the 6th of March at Ikebukuro CYBER. The members are:

BrainStein have announced that they will be releasing two singles, both in two types on April 28th! There is a limited edition type for both, which cost 1500 yen and come with two tracks plus a DVD as well as a regular edition type that contains only the two tracks for 1200 yen.

BrainStein is a new band, who’s look will capture both ‘old school fashion’ and ’street type’ fashion.
On a random note, for all fans of Gin (formerly known as Nell), he said that because he’s changing from a bassist to a vocalist, he felt that the name change was appropriate. He chose ‘Gin’, because he likes the colour silver, and “Kataota” was given to him by a sempai, who helped him on his road to being a vocalist.
The band also took part on the V.A album, 「妖幻鏡～アメジスト～」 (Yougenkyou ~ Amethyst ~), which came out on February 24th (details can be found here).
There doesn’t seem to be an OHP available quite yet, but the band will be having an instore event on March 26th at Tower Records.
Fans have already set-up a Group on Ameba for anyone who’s interested in joining, check it out.
Ru:natic will be releasing their second demo single, titled 「導カレ･･･血爛レタ人体」 (Michibikare… Chi Tadareta Jintai) on March 24th! The single is limited to 777 copies, but will be available in CD shops such as Brand-x.
The single costs 1200 yen for three tracks.
We haven’t introduced Ru:natic before, and as stated on Brand-X they’re a new that has the concept of “the wondering shape and sadness of a lunatic”.
The band is made up of four members: Vocals - Tomo Guitar - Kei Guitar - Tokkiy Bass - Kijin
They released their first demo single on January 19th, called 「血塗ラレタ招待状」 (Chinurareta Shoutaijou), which also contained three tracks. The single was also available for sale at their first live, which took place on January 18th at HOLIDAY OSAKA, and was free to attend. Samples from the single can be heard on their OHP.
They already have an online shop setup for anyone who’s looking into purchasing both their releases and other band related merchandise (such as stickers and artist photos). So, if you’re interested make sure you check it out.

Well, there has been a lot of bad news as of late, so it’s time to hear something good!
YU-YA, the former vocalist for Scar. and 4way Speakers, has announced that he has started a new project called 「Rhetoic.」!
YU-YA will be singing music from loud rock, to ballades… with his voice that can range from being husky, to being a comfortable high tone. According to his OHP, his voice has the power of when you hear it, you’ll never be able to forget it. With his voice that has tempered numerous performances, he will be starting up with new lives this March.
So far the lives on the schedule are:

YU-YA has started recording ‘beta’ versions (or demos) of music. There are two samples on the OHP, both of which are uploaded to YouTube.
MM FANTASY, which was a session band active for few months in 2007 will have a one-day revival on the 15th of April at HOLIDAY SHINJUKU. The members were:

There is another interesting thing going to happen at that event though! ナオキ (Naoki), ex. 斜GIRL (ShaGIRL) vocalist’s new band, called yazzmad is going to perform their first live then! More details about the band are probably going to be announced then, we will surely keep you informed!
Other bands performing on that event, which is by the way called 「into the deepness Vol.13 -MM FANTASY 復活祭-」 (into the deepness Vol.13 -MM FANTASY Fukkatsusai), are My heaven’s luck sisters, As If in the darkness, Miss Jelly Fish, ジゴロっと (Jigolotto), Faralis and LIV’ERT.
Finally, the tickest will cost 2800 yen when bought in advance and 3300 at the door.
Recently Suzuya and Reina from 姫苺(himeichigo) have started a new band entitled “the LEM -the last experiments mother-”.
There are three members so far; Suzuya on vocals, Kazutaka (formerly Reina) on guitar, and Jun on guitar.
Right now their homepage is a little skeletal, but they will work to transform it little by little in the future.
This is what I call a completely fresh band! Their OHP was opened today. Few band members will appear at the event on the 16th at Ikebukuro CYBER, however, the band will have the first live on the 23rd of March at Shinjuku RUIDO K4!
Another fairly new band on the visual kei scene. The band is called thee sheeps and actually has formed in September 2009, although they weren’t that active then. The members are:
楽團孤独 (Gakudan Hitori) is a very fresh band, which actually is a solo project of ex. CELLT vocalist – キヨト (Kiyoto). The project has been started on the 15th of January but now, after getting some support members, is getting more active!

At their live on the 21st of February, they’ll be distributing their first trial CD and selling the tickets for their organized event on the 19th of March, entitled 『悪』 (Aku). At that event, held at Ikebukuro Cyber, they’ll also be selling their 1st demo CD entitled 『初雪/ホス狂いの女』 (Hatsuyuki/Hosu Kurui no Onna) for 1200 yen. It will contain a bonus signed photo, randomly chosen from 8 different types.
The new band I want to talk about is ネオン (Neon). There are unluckily not many details known, since the band hasn’t announced their OHP yet, but here are the band’s members:
It seems that the band will have their first official live on the 16th of February at Ikebukuro CYBER. We will keep you updated once more details about the band are available.
They’ll have their first live at Takadanobaba AREA on the 12th of February, at the event called 「THE PARTY IN FEBRUARY Vol.1」. What is more, the band will distribute their first CD then, entitled 「Invaded rot」.
They will distribute their first single on their few first lives, beginning today. It will be entitled 「wolf」.

NEXX was originally a session band that started about 2 months ago, but they’ve apparently decided to go further. After their sponsored live on January 29th, they’ve announced that they would turn into a full-fledged band. Their first live will be hold on February 16th at Ikebukuro CYBER.
KISAKI posted an important announcement on the UNDER CODE OHP where he spoke about Phantasmagoria’s revival ending on April 5th and the new band that is coming up this summer, marking his musical return to the scene.
The following is a translation of the announcement that KISAKI posted.
I have an important announcement for everyone.
First, regarding Phantasmagoria’s revival, it’s a limited time come-back that started on December 31st at Tokyo Kinema Club and will end on April 5th at Osaka BIG CAT.
The reason behind it being a limited time event is that Phantasmagoria is very valuable, and there are many aspects that we have to look after.
Therefore, for many different reasons we are unable to continue [with the band], and even though it was lost once, all of the members realized that “being lost like this, we can’t make any sort of big steps forward”.
Now, the second announcement…
After the limited time revival of Phantasmagoria has past, in the summer of 2010, a new band will be formed, and I have decided to restart my band activities.
Everyone probably has many different thoughts about me making a comeback to the scene, however, from here on, I will return to the people that I meet by chance, and those who are once again cheering me on.
I want to put all of my energy into conveying my “reason” and “meaning”.
There’s a road that I once destroyed with my own hands, but because I want to push forward and completely devote myself [to the scene], I will be happy if you can support me with my music.
To those who have shown even just a little love to both the members, and to Phantasmagoria who will be active until April 5th, 2010, please come [and see us].
Like I said in the previous post, Dear Dolce have introduced two new bands and ネオロックンロールスタ→☆エース (Neo Rock ‘n’ Roll Star→☆Ace) is the second one. After being active as a session band, they’ve become an official band on the 24th of January at the live at Osaka RED ZONE. The members are:
