Another that caught my attention lately is Sirokuro ! They formed in the same period as CELL HEAD and look interesting to me, especially for those who remember the band 鴉-Kalas-

Bass : Mari
I, personally, think Dou has one of the most amazing look I’ve seen lately !
Anyway… the band already distributed their first demo for 10 days back in August, it was called “MIND FUCKER～demo version～” which leads me to think they could sound pretty heavy !

CELL HEAD

Here we go for a new band ! I’ve been following for about a month now, but now that I’m sure to see them live pretty soon, I wanted to introduce them here as well !
CELL HEAD started activities in the middle of the year with five members. Their official website is now opened since September 1st, 3 days before their first release, a maxi-single entitled 「The insanity of the insane」 and containing two songs :
1. 爛 (Ran)
2. Civilization
But 4 days later, on September 8th, they lost their drummer, so the band is now constituted by 4 members as follows :
Vocals : Syo
Guitar : Sayo
Guitar : Ryu
Bass : Tenka
Dont you think they look cool ? Syo just looks awesome to me, not even mentionning that he somehow makes me think of Mamo ! Keep an eye on them !

Vega

KANA, ex-ASYURA is now appearing as the drummer in a new band Vega, who revealed their OHP about a month ago; on October 1st.
The band is currently four members, but do have announcement on their OHP saying that December 13th will be the last live with the current line-up. It has not yet been announced (anywhere I can see at least) who, if anyone, is leaving. Perhaps they’re adding a member instead? We’ll have to wait to find out.
But currently, the members are as follows:
Vocals - あき (Aki)
Guitar - 寛 (Hiro)
Guitar - 義 (Yoshi)
Support Bass - 幸 (Yuki)
Drums - KANA
The band currently doesn’t have a discography section set up on their page, and it doesn’t seem like they’ve released anything, but as far as their look goes, they’re looking nice and together.
So we’ll see what the 13th brings! Hopefully it’s good news and hopefully we’ll be hearing music from them soon!

HELL the GROWL

HELL the GROWL is an interesting new band that formed in June of this year!

The band had their first live on October 25th and look to be finishing off the year by playing several lives booked at HOLIDAY Osaka. Although they have yet to release a single of their own, they have contributed their song “LOST OF HEART” on the “PLANITARIUM SHOW CASE” omnibus CD along with fellow artists like SUICIDE ALI, PaRADEiS and Gram∞Maria. Hopefully we’ll hear more from them in the new year!!

Dear L’Novel

Ah, fresh meat. There’s a new band in town and they go by the name of Dear L’Novel (ディアーラ ノベル) Hailing from Osaka, this band is fairly new as they have formed September this year and begun activities in October. Much like any other band, their concept is that every member has a specific desire/meaning that produces a story.

Otogashi

There’s a new band around that should prove to be very interesting. They formed in October and are called 音画死 (Otogashi).
While their OHP is no where to be found (as of yet, that I could find anyways) the line-up alone should make many different fans happy.
Vocals - Zen (ex-Fatima, ex-Vanilla)
Guitar - 伶希 (Ryouki) (ex-KuRt; THE JEAN)
Guitar - 桜澤祐稀 (Sakurazawa Yuuki) (ex-Medi@lize)
Bass - IV
Drums - 由希 (Yuki) (currently Setsuna in biene, ex-HeaRt, ex-JOKER)
They performed their first live at the end of last month, and have a bunch scheduled for November and December. Hopefully we’ll be seeing an OHP and release from them, it’ll be interesting to hear what they sound like.
According to Yuuki’s blog, they’re an experimental version prototype band.
Let me also add, the bassist, IV, does not seem to be ex-Kisnate’s bassist. I could be mistaken, but I did take a brief browse through his blog and found absolutely no mention of the band whatsoever (and lots of news about upcoming sessions).

Another new band for you today ! I guess this one will ravish some of you ! And to understand why, just take a look at the members…

Freesia appeared about 4 months ago and consist of a pretty interesting line-up, notably with the return to activities of Kaito who previously left Tokami.
They’ve already played with a bunch of well-known indie bands like SIVA or Aicle for example, which can seen as a proof of quality…
Definitly a band to keep an eye on, waiting for a first release !

Hello everyone, here’s my first post as a new member of Shattered Tranquility ! Hurray ! I hope I can bring you some nice news !

But I thought they needed an introduction as they look pretty interesting to me, not even mentionning their first release available in about 3 weeks…

New Band - DecoLa Hopping

This band DecoLa Hopping is somewhat new. They began activities in 2006 and haven’t really gotten much exposure.

They have toured around with several already well know bands like Lupo Label, auncia, EAT YOU ALIVE, ensoku, ClearVeil, etc etc. They are slowly making their rise to fame as in the new year they will be holding their first FREE one man AND releasing their first demo single entitled “パピヨン” (Papillon) on January 21st, 2009 and it’s a one-coin single, for 500 yen.

New Band - D-ZEL

It’s been a while since I’ve done a new band introduction, so here it goes. I think I’ll have a few today~
The first band I’d like to introduce is D-ZEL. They formed this year back in April and had their 1st demo live on May 13th. They officially started after that with lives starting in July. They originally started off with five members, but their guitarist Layges left the band at their live on September 24th.

Kousei’s new band

Kousei, formerly of GHOST, announced that he has a new band. The name of the band is Drop Star Shooting. So far none of the other members have been announced but they do have an OHP. You can find it by clicking the following link:
The also will be having a sponsoring event on December 26th at Takadanobaba AREA called 「thrill and cutter vol.0」. The guests include Cellt, Jewel, hydra, the Vambie., Brother and a session band called Safety Drugger. There is a band we would like to bring to your attention. The name of the band is XodiacK. There aren’t a lot of details on the band at this time. We can tell you that this band is something to keep an eye on. More details on the band will be available in 2009 (that is when it says all will be revealed). Mirabilis LibeR

Mirabilis LibeR (ミラビリス リベル) is a new band that had their first live this past July on the 26th at Otsuka Red Zone. Shortly after, they lost both their vocalist YUKI and drummer You. Therefore, on August 10th at Takadanobaba AREA they went on an activity pause.
But they weren’t giving up! In September they welcomed a new vocalist, Yuu to their line-up and earlier this month they also acquired a support drummer, Hiroto. Now they’re restarting their activities under the concept of being a band that reveals their colour with their distinct world view that lies in a rebellious spirit.
The members of the band are:

Daishi’s new band

Daishi, from Amaterase, has started up a new band called 「マイトレイア」 or MaitoreiA. The band’s first two performances will be oneman shows on February 13th and 14th at Meguro Rock May Kan.
So far all that’s been announced is Daishi on guitar, but the rest of the members will be announced soon.

Stengaze

ex-MIRAGE’s vocalist AKIRA has started up a new band called Stengaze.
So far it’s just AKIRA on vocals, DICE on guitar and YOMI as the support drummer. They performed on September 29th at Holiday Osaka and will be playing on Octber 24th at Nishikujou BRAND NEW along with bands such as SINCREA, A&D, CRIMSON and DIESIRAE.
They also don’t have much available on the OHP, but if you liked AKIRA in MIRAGE, then I’m sure you have Stengaze to look forward to!

Vampire

Rouji (ex-Appui) announced his new band today in his blog! Their name is ヴァンパイア (Vampire), and their debut will be at an event sponsored by them on November 14th titled Stir The Blood Game -scene of vampire- at Holiday Shinjuku. They also are planning their first release, titled 『躁鬱ヴァイオレッド』 (Souutsu Violet). The release will be distrubted for free to all attendees of their first live. Other goods will include Artist photos, Polaroids, stickers, and more!
