Releases and changes for Inugami Circus-dan

犬神サーカス団 (Inugami Circus-dan) has made an announcement that they will be releasing their last single and having their last tour under their current name.
The following message was posted on the band’s OHP:
A message to all of our fans
As we stated at our live, “Shinumade ROCK Tour Final” on December 10th at Shibuya O-WEST, we have an important announcement.
Now, we have more details regarding our outlook for 2012.
“In autumn of 2012, Inugami Circus-dan will put an end to our entertainment route”.
Inugami Circus-dan has been a lyrical, extreme, and underground Japanese style band, and with the announcement of a new album in the autumn of 2012, we’re also going to start our activities [in autumn] with a different concept.
As far as lives go, we will have an album release tour in the fall, but will drop “Inugami Circus-dan” and start activities with a new name.
Until then, we will continue activities as Inugami Circus-dan.
So first and foremost, on April 11th, we will have our last release as Inuagmi Circus-dan, “Koko wa Doko no Hosomichi ja” (single CD + DVD). We’ll also be having a release memorial tour, “Sayonara Circus-dan”, and this will be our last oneman tour under this name.

As mentioned above, the single is called 「ここはどこの細道じゃ 」 (Koko wa Doko no Hosomichi ja) and costs 1500 yen for a two track CD and DVD.

They’ll also be having a tour to commemorate the release. The tour is called 「さいならサーカス団ツアー」 (Sayonara Circus-dan Tour) and they are all oneman performances that cost 3500 yen.

EVE New Single and Name Change

It’s been a while since we’ve heard from イヴ (Eve.) First, they have recently changed their name from イヴ to EVE. They’re also planning on releasing a new single next year on 2.8.2012! It will be titled Case;A, and will come in two types.
Type A will cost ￥1890 and will include two tracks, as well as a PV for Case;A.

Firstly, ICe-AGe has officially changed their name to ICe0AGe and you can find their new OHP here.
The band has also releasing their first mini-album! 「FATE」 is coming out on January 26th and costs 2,500 yen. It will include 6 tracks and DVD.

LIX. Changes Name

Thanks to Mateluhi for sending it in.
After the departure of three of the members of LIX. on September 25th, the guitarist Yuu decided to change the name of the band.
LIX. have officially changed their name to lix, and the new lineup is Chihiro on vocals, and Yuu on guitar. They updated their website and blog with the change.
They have several upcoming performances this month and next month.

【 】, a new band of 桜井青 (Sakurai Ao), シャラク (Sharaku) and ササブチヒロシ (Sasabuchi Hiroshi), which we talked about here , have decided to start going under a name カッコー (Cuckoo).
Their first tour is going to be called 「カッコーの巣の上で」(Cuckoo no Su no Ue de; One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest):

D’LORE’s name and lineup change

Back in June, we mentioned that D’LORE would be losing two members and gaining three new ones. It seems that, in addition to a new lineup, the band decided to restart with a new name: dolore. The band’s new lineup is as follows:
Vocal: 零 -ZERΦ-
Guitar: 省吾 -SHOGO- || ex-D’LORE
Guitar: 叶真 -TOWMA-
Bass: 玲於奈 -LEONA- || ex-ギズモ (Gizmo)
Drums:斐静 -HIZKA- || ex-D’LORE (Twitter @ here)
The band released its first single, 「REBORN」, on July 21st, and has already sponsored a few events. On October 5th and November 2nd, they’ll hold their next events, 「DIVINE REVOLUTION Vol.1」 and Vol.2, respectively, at Takadanobaba AREA.

ケミカルピクチャーズ (Chemical Pictures) has certainly exciting news for us!
Let’s start with a member updates. Their vocalist てんてん (Tenten) has changed his name to 平 一洋 (Taira Kazuhiro) and everyone’s blogs are updated with new profile pictures.
At their oneman live on September 17th the band presented their new fifth official member – a guitarist called rui. You can follow his blog here.
The band has also announced good news for the beginning of year 2011. They are gonna release a new mini album in January and have three consecutive month oneman lives. Details of these aren’t yet available, but here’s dates and locations at least:

Ex. Ayabie members forming new band

Over a month ago we have reported that unfortunately Ayabie have decided to end their activities. Not long afterwards, however, we have told you, that 4 ex-members announced to perform together on October 22nd! It seems that it will not be only a one-night project, since 4 members – 夢人 (Yumehito), タケヒト (Takehito), ケンゾ (Kenzo), and インテツ (Intetsu) – have formed a new band called… AYABIE.
You can see profile pics as well on their OHP’s profile section. Please note that ケンゾ (Kenzo) is now called KENZO instead though.
Anyway, after their first live on October 22nd, they’ll hold a winter tour under the title 「AYABIE tour’10~11 Virgin Snow Color-2nd Season-」. The schedule looks as follows:

Thanks to Masamune for the heads-up!
Do you remember when we introduced a band called ぶらっく★きゃっと (Black Cat)? Well, they have updated their OHP and therefore let me share the news with you.
First of all, it seems they changed their name to BLACK CAT. What is more, they finally uploaded a band picture, what do you think about their look?

It seems they will officialy start their acitvities on that day too, as they have been just on a ‘demonstration’ band so far.

News for Video Glamour

Few days ago Video Glamour has totally renewed their OHP and updated it with some news! Let’s start with the new look!
Furthermore, it seems that from now one the band’s name will be written as ヴィデオグラマァ instead of 電影グラマァ, however it will still be romanized as “Video Glamour”.
Back in May we have talked about their new single and now we can finally see the cover to it:

From Shinsekai to Neo

The limited time project, 新世界 (Shinsekai), which we talked about back here, have announced that they have changed their name from 新世界 (Shinsekai) to Neo, and will be starting up activities as a new band under that name!
For those of you who didn’t catch them before, or forgot about them, the members are:

New Band: the LEM

Thank you to everyone who sent this in~!
Recently Suzuya and Reina from 姫苺(himeichigo) have started a new band entitled “the LEM -the last experiments mother-”.
There are three members so far; Suzuya on vocals, Kazutaka (formerly Reina) on guitar, and Jun on guitar.
Right now their homepage is a little skeletal, but they will work to transform it little by little in the future.

New member and name change for Falaris

First of all, I’d like to say I’m sorry. I’ve been absent from ST for a month now as I moved to Japan and couldn’t use the internet… anyway I’m back now ! And Happy New Year everyone ! Now the news…
After they’ve lost their singer back in October, and their bassist one month later, Falaris was obviously heading in a dangerous direction.
But there’s finally something good to say about them, as they’ve recently welcomed a new vocalist called Toshiki ! Now they just need to find a new bassist.
After all those changes, the band has decided to change its name from Falaris to Faralis to mark the beginning of a new period. They will also be distributing a new demo CD during a limited period (4 lives) :

Like absolute myself have announced that they will be releasing a brand new single in 2010!
Details are not yet available, however, the band will be having an Osaka, Nagoya and Tokyo tour where the single will be available for pre-sale. The tour is called 「-Breakthrough of ZERO-」 and the dates and venues are as follows:

February 25th @ HOLIDAY SHINJUKU
Furthermore, in 2010 the band will be changing their name from 「Like absolute myself」 to the more simple, 「lam.」.

Well it seems Shaura has decided to go back to the name Seventh Sense but actually written like so: Ⅶ-Sense. So far the band IS signed onto Red List but there is no hp or image of the band as of yet. We’ll be sure to let you guys know when they put a HP up!

Tetsu changes name + new single

L’arc~en~Ciel is going to be releasing a new single on January 27th, 2010. Single will be called BLESS – but remember they are still not doing any lives until 2011! The song is confirmed to be the theme for NHK Vancouver 2010 Broadcast.

Ocelot -> LOST ASH

For their live at Takadanobaba AREA yesterday (November 10th), Ocelot had an important announcement.
After three consecutive singles, it appears that the band will come to an end as Ocelot and change its name to become LOST ASH with the exact same members.
So far, we didn’t really keep up with them that much, but be sure will keep you updated from now on.
The band has alredy opened a brand new OHP with their new look. Further information to come soon.
