miyavi-graduates-from-ps-company

I thought this might interest Miyavi fans who read S-T.net.
This was just posted a little while ago by musicJAPANplus.

In a message posted today on his website, MIYAVI announced that he is leaving PS COMPANY after 10 successful years of affiliation.

The following is a message directly from him to you:

My dear fans all over the world.

To All Komiyavi
Firstly, Happy Valentine’s Day!!

Thank you for all your time, support and so much love.

Today I have a kind of bitter announcement:

I’ve decided to “graduate” from PS company, with whom I’ve been affiliated for the past ten years, after my concert at Hibiya Yagai Ongakudo on April 5th.

After the event at Budokan on January 3rd,
I looked up at the far-reaching sky and horizon over the sea in Okinawa for the first time in all these years, and decided to think about my one and only life 10 or 20 years down the road.

Thought about myself as an artist,
how to face to fans and people who support me,

thought and thought and got tired, and took nap and woke up and thought and thought,

took a shower, and thought and thought,

got hungry and had a light meal, and thought and thought,

walked along the sea and thought and thought,

Then, before I realized, it was morning.

And I watched the sun rising from the sea
Without thinking I spontaneously started to cry.

Neither sad nor happy tears

I just cried.

And decided.

It’s neither a sad thing nor a happy thing

I made a decision for my own bright feature.

At least, I believe so.

I’ll talk about the how and why
in another way or something, some other time.

We achieved great success at the agency’s 10th anniversary concert, and I fulfilled my role as representative of all the affiliated bands
The agency started its 11th year of activity without any problems.

That’s one of my main reasons.

Of course, I’ll keep on singing “Peace&Smile” like always.

Above all, I want to express my thanks to Chief Executive Mr.Ozaki, who was surprised to hear this but understood after great reflection.

To all staff who worked through blood, sweat and tears to be my hands, legs and sometimes even like my body, thank you, thank you very much.

I know that no matter which road I choose, it’s a thorny path.

So think I should live in a way I won’t regret when I’m looking back on myself 10 or 20 years from now.

Hope we’ll be able to have sweet sweet dreams instead of chocolates that makes cavities in our teeth.

I hope we can all have SWEET dreams.

Happy braintine’s day.

Miyavi

-Japanese-
Dear my fans all over the world.

Happy belated braintine’s day.

みやび

So, what do you think?

I do hope Miyavi doesn’t stop making music. And him without PSC will be a little strange to me– at first, at least.

xtripxs-new-look

xTRiPx has updated their mobile ohp with a new look! They’ve also made an announcement that they will not be having one one-man, but two! The first will be on March 22nd at Fukuoka DRUM Be-1 and the second will be on April 24th, in Tokyo at Shinjuku Marz.

check out their new look:

I love it! Definitely one of their best. What do you guys think?

Also, an important announcement was posted on their ohp that xTRiPx will be moving to Tokyo from now on and leaving Fukuoka behind since they’ve been experiencing some trouble with always traveling so much from Fukuoka. They tell the fans that even though they’ll be separated, their music will not change and they’ll always keep doing their best!

res-comment-about-disbanding

I’m sure a lot of you have already seen this, but here it is for those who haven’t: full translation for the announcement and member comment on RENTRER EN SOI’s site about their disbanding.

All the credit for the translation goes to kagen @ livejournal, who very kindly translated this for the RES livejournal community.

An important message from Rentrer en Soi

Thank you for your continuing support for Rentrer en Soi. We have an important message for everyone even though this may appear to be very sudden.

Rentrer en Soi will close it’s chapter after holding a one man live at Shibuya CLUB QUATTRO on 2008.12.25.

Regarding the reasons for disbandment, please refer to the members’ comments.

The remaining period of activity for the band is short, but we hope to receive the same support from fans and staff.

– Free Will

Members’ Comment

We have a message for the fans.

Rentrer en Soi will disband on the 25th of December.

The 「MILLENARIANISM」 tour which will begin on the 19th of November will be the last tour, and the tour final on the 25th of December at Shibuya CLUB QUATTRO will put and end to the band’s activities.

Rentrer en Soi has conducted its band activities under the theme of “returning to oneself” for seven years, and both the work that has been released and the to-be-released mini-album on the 22nd of October “MEGIDDO” has constitued a complete (concentrated?) representation of this band theme.

As such, Rentrer en Soi has started to consider the reason of existence for the “Rentrer en Soi” of the future, and after much discussion with the staff, have reached the conclusion of disbandment.

We understand that this may be very sudden for everyone who has supported us thus far, and we also realise that it may be a self-centered decision. However, we ask of everyone to try to understand our decision.

We thank all fans and other related personnel for their support thus far.

There is only a little time left, but we would still like to etch the existence of Rentrer en Soi deeply into our compositions and lives. Please watch over us until the last moment.

RENTRER EN SOI

Again, big thanks to kagen for this translation!

s-r-net

Tomozo’s label – Sequence Records has been around for awhile, but their site opened up in 2004 and every time they do a face lift on the site they seem to get rid of everything besides the mobile site! This isn’t the case this time since when you go to the url you get an error.

Finally Tomozo updated his blog with a message asking us to please wait for a restoration (-_-;) So either there were server problems or they are doing another face lift!! Either way never fear the site will return!! *whew*

ioris-email

We updated about Iori leaving Siva here. Like many fans, I too emailed Iori to wish him luck and to let him know no matter what – fans will support him. I also asked him to please return to the stage whenever he is ready and to please be happy. This morning he replied to my email and I thought it was sweet and wanted to share with everyone.

Thank you.
I thank all people who supported siva and me and it.
Though I understand it sometime, I will come back to the stage again. And play guitar.
To play my music again.
Then please support me once again.

His english is really cute. But there you have it, he seems positive and I hope everyone will support him!!

exist%e2%80%a0traces-activity-pause

The band will be going on a limited period activity pause after their 5/17 live. They mentioned that they will continue in a low key style and will be getting stronger. Please look forward for the girls strong return. They never mention when they will coming back, BUT it doesn’t sound like this is a bad thing, so no one worry just yet~

neu-apologizes-to-those-waiting-for-pleasure

Neu would like to apologize for their lateness to the live they had on February 9th at Osaka MUSE because there was a bad traffic accident which caused a horrible traffic jam. So they send their apologies to the UNDERCODE members, staff, and fans (that were waiting for pleasure for so long).

Luckily Nega allowed them to explain to their fans after their encore.

ryonais-new-year-message

RYONAI (ex Blam Honey) has sent a New Years message to fans from his myspace. He even made a graphic for fans, which was really sweet. His English is pretty good so you can email him or add him. He openly talks about designing, graphics and music. Along with Kiwamu (BLOOD), RYONAI has been doing lives with a new comer to the vk scene, GPKISM (which I think stands for Gothic Prince Ken-ISM ?). Here is RYONAI’s message for the New Year and his fans:

A Happy New Year! !
I pray for your prosperity of splendid
talent and health and bed of roses!

Please greet the good New Year!
