1-day-revivals-for-molle-node-and-noisy-crowds

Amazing news for all SHINA fans! It seems that both his previous bands are going to have 1-day revivals – モル・ノヲド (moll’e node) and NOISY CROWDS.

There are not any details available for both lives except the dates and venues though. Moll’e node revival is going to take place on July 30th at Takasaki CLUB FLEEZ , whilst NOISY CROWDS will revive on the 18th of November at Ikebukuro CHOP.

Let me introduce the bands shortly in case you have never heard of them before though.

モル・ノヲド (moll’e node) was a band which was active between 2003 and 2006. They have released 3 CDs, all of them in 2004. The members were:

Vocal: 詩那 (Shina) || ex. NOISY CROWDS [as SHINA] → NOi’X [as SHiNA] → KieRE; now in 弾丸少女 (Dangan Shoujo)
Guitar: 省吾 (Shogo) || now in D’LORE
Bass:(Kiyoshi) || ex カるテ (Karute), now in D’LORE
Drums: (hikari) || now in auncia

NOISY CROWDS was a previous band of Shina, moll’e node’s vocalist. They have started their activities in early 1993 and ended them in 2000, changing their name to NOi’X in the meantime though. Anyway, the line-up was as follows:

Vocal: SHINA
Guitar: RYOTA || FITZ*GERALD → OBSCeNE [as RYO] → NOISY CROWDS → Jezebel
Bass: LUCCA
Drums: JOE-NOSUKE || DARKLANDS → NOISY CROWDS → Jezebel → MATHONY [as JOE]

monaural-curves-revival

It seems that after 3 years of being on activity pause MONAURAL CURVE will have a concert on the 27th of August!

First of all, I don’t believe we have ever introduced the band here before, since they have been on a pause for a long time. However, the members are:

Vocal: hanon
Guitar: zull || ex. NOOKICKY → The Candy Spooky Theater → …。【サイレンス】 (Silence)
Bass: tock

It’s still not known whether it will be a permanent come-back or just a revival live though. Here is what they wrote in their official mailmag:

On 27th August 2010, after 3 years, it has been decided that MONAURAL CURVE will be doing a gig!
There are still a few days before the gig, but please do keep your schedule free on that day.
When more information on the gig has been decided, it will be updated on the Official Site, so make sure you don’t miss it!
Please look forward to the new world brought to you by MONAURAL CURVE!

Anyway, zull wrote in his blog about that fact too:

It’s been 3 years, but on Friday 27th August, MONAURAL CURVE will be able to do a gig.

There are probably more people who don’t know [about us], but as a
live band, we have been reorganizing our compositions and songs in the
hopes for people to listen to us.

This time, in connection with our various associates, in welcoming back our favourite rock guitarist, the 5 of us have reorganised ourselves [and come together]. There has been talk about having triple guitarists, but first off, it is the 5 of us.

Along with doing 2 other sessions, it would make us happy if you look forward to them.

We will give out more detailed information at a later date.

On 27th August, we will introduce to you a new, original sound [to our music]. Please look forward to it! …though, I’m the one who’s looking forward to it the most!

introducing-lachi-and-zakuros-come-back

I’ve wanted to do this for a long time, introduce some interesting angura kei bands I mean, and now I think there’s a great opportunity to do so! I wanted to tell you about ザクロ (Zakuro) and how they came back after 3 years of being inactive, but there is no sense in doing that without telling about ラチ (Lachi) at first, at least I think so.

So, ラチ (Lachi) have started their activites in February 2008 and haven’t been that active since then. The members are:

Vocals&Bass:(Mitsuru)
Guitar: 健じろう (Kenjirou)
Drums: トヲル (Toworu)

They have released only 2 singles so far, one in Februrary 2008 entitled 「歪んだ片隅の僕」 (Hizunda Katasumi no Boku) and the second one in April 2009, under the title 「死別の空の下で朽ちた猫とボロボロになった僕達」(Shibetsu no Sora no Shita de Kuchita Neko to Boroboro ni Natta Bokutachi)

If you’re curious about how they sound, I’d either recommending buying the CDs and supporting the band or looking for examples at their clips from lives, which you can see here.

Their next live (and the only one announced so far) is:

Date: April 18th @ HOLIDAY OSAKA
Performing Riddick, ギルド (Guild), Philter, THE CRIME, 我怨 (Gaon), 死刑宣告 (Shikei Senkoku), 鍵-key-. (Kagi-key-.), VERRE , ラチ (Lachi)

Actually, the event will be organised by Planet CHILD Music under the title 『四季彩プラネタリウムVol.98』(Shikisai Planetarium Vol.98). The tickets cost 2300 yen in advance and 2800 at the door.

Now that I’ve introduced ラチ (Lachi), I can start with ザクロ (Zakuro). So, as I already mentioned they were inactive for over 3 years and decided to come back! They’ve already had their kind of revival gig on the 13th of February, but are already planning another one – on the 29th of May. The live will take place at Kobe Mersey Beat. The members are:

Vocal:(Mitsuru) | now in ラチ (Lachi)
Guitar: クロノ (Crono)
Bass: 死檻 (Shiori)
Drums: トヲル (Toworu) | now in ラチ (Lachi)

(See why I wanted to introduce ラチ (Lachi) at first? Because some members’ are from that band and since we haven’t talked about any of these bands on S-T…)

Anyway… The band hasn’t released much so far. One song was featured on the 「New Born Kerberos」 among such bands as for example √eight, Cannival Method and えんそく (Ensoku). They released one single entitled 「堕落した犬と終着の廃人」 (Daraku Shita Inu to Shuuchaku no Haijin) back then, but what is more – it seems that they were selling limited CD commemorating their revival on the 13th of February . It contained 3 songs:

1. 僕 (Boku)
2. 痛哭狂想薄弱日記 (Tsuukoku Kyousou Hakujaku Nikki)
3. 毒薬 (Dokuyaku)

We’re surely let you know if we will know more about both band’s decisions.

A few months after Schwarz has left ケミカルピクチャーズ (Chemical Pictures), it seems he’s already back on the scene with a brand new (but time-limited) project called the Distorted my stratic Faith. So far, the band is only made of two members: Schwarz and さくら (Sakura) who’s been in SKULL from 2003 to July 2008.

They have also announced a few events they’ll be taking part in, but no release seems to be planned so far (if they ever release anything).

This looks really nice to me, and the members are also really cool, but I wonder, with just a guitarist and a bassist, who’s singing? Or is it just instrumental? I know they already have at least 6 songs but I wonder how it sounds… What do you think?
