Lets all hope for the best, this band is promising and seems to be having a rough start since they already lost a member.

Plastic Tree returns with new album

plastic-tree-returns-with-new-album

The management agency for visual-kei band Plastic Tree delivered some good news on Thursday: vocalist Ryutaro Arimura has completely recovered from Guillain-Barré syndrome and will be resuming activities, including the band’s nationwide tour that starts this March.

Last month, Plastic Tree canceled two concerts after Arimura was diagnosed with the disorder. Guillain-Barré syndrome, which affects the nervous system and can lead to paralysis, is incurable but highly treatable. Fortunately, Arimura was diagnosed while the disorder was still in an early stage and received treatment right away.

Along with the news of Arimura’s return, it was revealed that Plastic Tree will release a new album titled “ammonite” on April 6, which will be their first one since December 2009. The band is currently recording for the album, which is planned to have a total of 12 tracks. The limited edition of the album will come with a DVD that reportedly includes the music video for their song “13th Friday” and some off-shot footage.

Plastic Tree’s tour will consist of 21 shows, starting on March 14 at Akasaka BLITZ in Tokyo.

lynch.’s Hazuki makes recovery and plans return to the stage!

lynch-s-hazuki-makes-recovery-and-plans-return-to-the-stage

S-T.net is thrilled to announce that lynch.’s Hazuki, who, earlier this month, had fallen ill and was thus unable to perform for a short leg of the band’s last indies tour, “THE JUDGEMENT DAYS,” appears to have made a hasty and full recovery!

According to both Hazuki and Yuusuke’s official blogs, the vocalist’s return will take place on the November 20th live in Okayama!

From Hazuki’s blog:

revival

Sorry to have kept you waiting.

Starting with the November 20th Okayama performance, I will be returning to the tour.

I’m sorry for making you worry, but I’m alright now.

Thank you for waiting for me.

Everybody in Kyuushuu and Shikoku, I’m sorry [for being unable to perform] when you had so looked forward to it.

Sometime soon, I’ll absolutely get my revenge!

Sit tight.

And (a more liberal translation of) an entry from Yuusuke’s blog:

RETURN
I’m sorry for the delay

As of the Okayama live

Hazuki’s back

Welcome back!

lynch. is complete [once again]

We’re bursting with energy

So get ready for it!

(For those who are still looking for a refund for dates where Hazuki was absent, as per the original announcement, you can still collect refunds at the point of sale until November 30.)

It looks like fate had more in store for this tour than could be brought down by illness. Here’s to Hazuki’s (and, of course, Asanao’s, and Yuusuke’s, and Reo’s) health! The members of lynch. have demonstrated they’re not the kind to let circumstances kick them down, but let’s hope that after this power-packed tour, they all get some much needed rest.

An Important Announcement from lynch. regarding Hazuki’s health

an-important-announcement-from-lynch-regarding-hazukis-health

The following announcement regarding lynch. vocalist Hazuki’s temporary leave from the “THE JUDGEMENT DAYS” LAST INDIES TOUR was posted on the band’s OHP as well as the member’s blogs:

lynch. [JUDGEMENT] group

“Today, according to the results of a medical examination, lynch. vocalist Hazuki, who had been complaining of problems with his throat, received a diagnosis of acute pharyngitis and laryngitis, accompanied by swelling of the vocal chords.

As such, while it has been a bitter pill to swallow, we have decided that Hazuki’s participation in “THE JUDGEMENT DAYS” LAST INDIES TOUR will be temporarily postponed through the month of November.

The remaining members will continue to play through all November dates as scheduled, and the plans are for Hazuki to return to the tour, depending on the progress of his condition.

We offer our sincerest apologies for the trouble and worry we have caused to all those who had been looking forward to seeing Hazuki perform. We beg for your sympathy and understanding with regard to our circumstance.

*Concerning the December lives, we will make those decisions by the 30th of November, pending a medical opinion. The details will be posted on the lynch. OHP.

lynch. fans, please let the members know how much you support them despite this unfortunate turn of events. This whole situation is trying on everybody, and all the members are working their hardest to make up for Hazuki’s absence. They absolutely do read the messages their fans send them, and the encouragement means so much, so if you have a second to type out a short blurb, please do so! Even if it isn’t in Japanese, the sentiment will certainly get across:

As evident in Hazuki’s 11-03-2010 blog post, “knot”:

Mornin’

Thanks for the insane number of messages.

It helped me relax a bit.

I was so glad… that so many people said, “Even so, I’ll still go to the live”

Everybody, please support the other members in any way you can.

Because I’ll be fine.

I’m sorry for making you worry.

But I’m so proud to have fans like you.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you.

And Reo’s Official Twitter (selected posts from 11-03-2010):

When I saw the messages everybody sent, I got teary-eyed in the middle of a Shinkansen car. If I hadn’t been wearing my hat over my eyes I wouldn’t've been able to show my face. Thank you to everybody who retweeted my message. Of course it must be hardest on Hazuki. And everybody who is supporting us. So I have to do my best. I can’t lose to this.”

(Not to detract from the fact that Hazuki is the one who is sick, but speaking of awful timing… Today, in Japan, is Reo’s birthday, and he has to perform without a vocalist. I’m sure he would appreciate any good wishes sent his way, too, even if he does claim to be embarrassed by the attention.)

And so I’m met with another birthday. Birthdays come every year, but there will never be a live like today’s. That’s just how it is with concerts. Of course it will be tough on everybody. But knowing that, I won’t have the audacity to spit out “I’m tired.”"

Thank you, everybody, for the messages of encouragement and [birthday] greetings. I’m steadily getting through them all. And I’m grateful to my musician friends who, busy themselves, in the middle of their respective tours, took time to get in touch!! Personally, it’s embarrassing when people focus on me “because it’s my birthday” so I don’t really like it, but this year the sentiment rings so much louder. “People are true treasures,” so I’ll keep working hard from now on. “

KISAKI hospitalized

kisaki-hospitalized

KISAKI has been urgently hospitalized and is therefore unable to attend the upcoming scheduled instore events. He has been ordered by doctors to stick to bed rest.

The following entry was posted in RIKU’s blog:

KISAKI has been urgently hospitalized.

The information came to us from the hospital, but as he’s currently in ICU, he’s unable to have any direct, face-to-face meetings.

The doctor’s told him that he has to have complete bed rest, and have ordered him to stop activities.

During Phantasmagoria, something similar happened, however, the members understand more than anyone that KISAKI has been moving around without taking any breaks from things dealing wtih Rin, and office responsibilities.

It’s unfortunate that due to the circumstances the five of us will not be able to attend the instore events together, however, it’s so that KISAKI doesn’t become strained. We will update you to the best of our ability on his progress, but as of now we are hoping that he can take his time to recuperate and make his return.

We will deliver you any information that we can as it becomes available, so please continue to watch over us.

Edit: KISAKI’s blog has also been updated with the following announcement which includes more details on his condition.

On the morning of June 14th, Rin’s KISAKI was complaining of pain, and therefore urgently hospitalized.

The name of the disease is the same as what he had last year, and upon finding severe bleeding of an ulcer located in his duodenum along with an abnormality in his cranial nerves, he was rushed to necessary surgery and is currently in the intensive care unit.

After much discussion between the doctors, his relatives, the members and staff, we have decided that the four members, without KISAKI, will be participating in this week’s scheduled Rin instore events.

For Rin’s live at Shibuya O-EAST on June 18th, which will be the band’s first live in Tokyo, KISAKI himself has expressed the wish to show, however, with the current circumstances we are unable to say if he will be able to, so we hope that you can understand.

As KISAKI’s condition changes, we will be making announcements [on the blog] so please check back.

UNDER CODE PRODUCTION

※ RIKU, KANATA, MIZUKI and REIYA will be appearing at the follow events.
Please refrain from asking each shop [about their attendance].

June 17th @ Tower Records – Shibuya B1F 「STAGE ONE」
June 19th @ Like an Edison (Tokyo)
June 19th @ Like an Edison (Harakuku)

From akane, to all of our fans,

First, to all of the Egoist members, the members of love:Re, and everyone connected to the band, I’m truly sorry for the trouble that I have caused and for being defeated.

I received a poster with sentiments and paper cranes from of our love:Re members.

Everyone, thank you.

I guess now, I’ll be be leaving Egoist for a while, and more than ever I love Eogist and all of our fans. You are all truly, truly important to me, and as I have no other place where I can express this, I want to tell you again how I feel.

You guys… I wanted to go forward together, but I guess there’s still a little more time that has to pass until I can stand in front of everyone again.

But I’ll be back for sure, so I want you to not forget and to wait for me.

Because my heart is always with you.

Egoist akane

Luckily Rouis and Hasune aren’t giving up though. They have decided to go on by name Littleエゴis≒徒2℃.

Thank you to all of our fans for your continuous support.

On this occasion, we have decided that due to our drummer, Masami leaving and until our guitarist, akane, can make a full recovery, from our live on May 29th, Egoist’s activities will instead be continued by Rouis and Hasune’s unit, “Little Egoist 2℃.

Personally, Little Egoist sounds cute and cool, but I’ll look forward for Egoist’s return too.

art-cubes-m-taking-a-break-because-of-health-issues

A following announcement was posted on Art Cube’s OHP today:

Thank you for always supporting Art Cube.

At this time, we have to announce that Art Cube’s Keyboardist M will be taking a break from lives starting from our show on June 3rd at Meguro Rock Maykan due to being in poor health.

He is currently undergoing exams in the hospital, and therefore we will update the OHP with information as soon as we know when he can make his return to the band.

The remaining four members will continue on with the scheduled performances. We hope that everyone will be able to still enjoy Art Cube’s world, and ask for your understanding.

We will surely let you know once M will come back from the break, but for now let’s just hope for a quick recovery for him!

Minemura from Baddies hospitalized

minemura-from-baddies-hospitalized

This is certainly sad news. ミネムラ (Minemura), the guitarist of 花少年バディーズ (Baddies) was hospitalized 2 days ago. Here is an official announcement regarding that fact:

Thank you for your continued support.

Late at night on May 26th, our guitarist Minemura was complaining about feeling sick, and after going to the hospital for tests, was diagnosed with an intestinal obstruction and enterocolitis1. He has therefore been hospitalized.

We hoped that he’d be recovered in a couple of days and able to leave the hospital, however, there is currently no word of when he will be able to be discharged, and therefore although it is unfortunate, we will be performing on May 29th at Nagoya MUSIC FARM and May 30th at Osaka FAN-J without Minemura.

Furthermore, please note that we are unable to give refunds for tickets to either live.

We will update you with information on our upcoming schedule and with Minemura’s condition.

We are deeply sorry for the sudden announcement.

All members of Baddies

Let’s hope for a quick recovery for Minemura! We will surely let you know about any updates the band makes, when it comes to both their schedule and Minemura’s condition.

Toshi falls ill and pauses activities

toshi-falls-ill-and-pauses-activities

Oh man, some more bad news with another beloved performer. TOSHI seems to be suffering from intercostal nerve pain and has canceled his instore events and suspend live activities until further notice. Actually TOSHI’s myspace was updated with this message last week:

Thank you for your concerns about me.
I am resting now because of intercostal neuralgia.
For these 10 and several years till now,
I have been suffering from false fabrications by vicious lawyers, reporters and those who have come to me trying to exploit me, and have been bashed by the media. I feel so painful to see my dear wife, WANKU and my colleagues and the children who once were taken away due to a suspicion of child abuse by us are suffering so much.
That’s the reason why I am suffering from this bodily pain.
Even the court believed the lies and false reports of those malicious people,
and they have made crazy judgements. That’s too awful!
How come such unjust and dirty things are going on?!
I went to a trial recently,
and I felt so painful in my heart on the spot
to see my dear friends were having a hard time there.
It was so cruel, so painful.
I will never forgive those vicious fellows
who make use of the media and
trick me with every frame-ups.
Very sorry that I cannot go and see you
Let me apologize to have troubled you,
but I will rest enough and go and see you soon.
Bye for now!

He seems to be very upset and in pain…in more than one way. The newest post is about Toshi’s wife and producer taking his place at some performances.

However, for some events taken place in Kumamoto, Kyushu in the beginning of this month, WANKU (TOSHI’s wife and a duet partner) and MASAYA (TOSHI’s producer and composer) substituted for TOSHI. This movie was taken at one of those events where MASAYA sang “Ai no uta wo utaitai -I want to sing a love song” which MASAYA composed for TOSHI more than 10 years ago.

A video of MASAYA performing in place of TOSHI.

Lets hope for a speedy recovery.

More info on Yasu’s condition

more-info-on-yasus-condition

We mentioned over here that yasu would be pausing for alittle bit and we now know the reason why. Apparently he has a cyst on his vocal cord. He is taking this time off to get it removed with surgery.

According to TokyoGraph, the cyst was discovered while he was on tour and yet continued with the tour despite the growth. But don’t worry – he is having it removed for sure.

Because of the surgery and the healing time, he has canceled his Christmas live and will push back on a special event for those who bought his album.

Lets all wish him a speedy recovery!!

In other De’Soler Merveille news, support guitarist LENKA recently broke his pinky and is out until it heals. He had to have surgery and is expected to recover in about three months, though he says he’ll do his best to come back sooner.

X JAPAN YOSHIKI、In LA for a cervical foraminal stenosis operation

x-japan%e3%80%80yoshiki%e3%80%81in-la-for-a-cervical-foraminal-stenosis-operation

At the end of last month, seems that Yoshiki underwent surgery for some neck problems he’s been having. This is the information taken from X JAPAN’s official myspace.

Drummer, pianist and X JAPAN band leader, Yoshiki, will undergo neck surgery on Monday, July 27, 2009 at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, Beverly Hills, CA. Dr. Neel Anand, Director of the Cedars-Sinai Spine Center, will perform a cervical foraminotomy.

Due to his intense drumming style, Yoshiki developed a worsening of his neck pain and left hand numbness over the past month, affecting his music performance. His condition has been evaluated by doctors in the U.S. and Japan. Yoshiki underwent a spinal x-ray series, an MRI of the spine, and an EMG. After seeking second and third opinions on the diagnosis and treatment, he concluded that the foraminotomy was necessary for the cervical foraminal stenosis.

Yoshiki’s primary physician at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, Dr. Tommy H. Tomizawa (UCLA Assistant Professor), states that he will need a few weeks to recover from the surgery and a month or more of rehabilitation. If his condition does not improve over the next several months, laminectomy, discectomy and spinal fusion would be considered. Artificial disc placement would be another treatment of choice.

Egoist’s accident

egoists-accident

According to the announcement  posted on member blogs, the band エゴis≒徒 (Egoist) was involved in an accident on the way to their first live because of a “surprise event”.  The type of accident was not stated. They have said that because of the poor physical condition and bloodshed of the members, continuing lives has become temporarily impossible. They apologize to all who attended that they weren’t able to complete the live, and will do their best to come back quickly.

UPDATE: According to Hasune, they were most concerned for Akane, who seems to have been injured the worst. However, after being examined at the hospital, he is expected to recover just fine. He is still going to take some time to rest before they start live activities, however, and when we get word on an expected return date, we’ll let you know!

Important announcement from Moran

important-announcement-from-moran

Yesterday, Soan of Moran posted this to his blog:

Thank you to all who have supported Moran in the past.
For several months, Zill’s physical condition has been degrading, and lately his condition has worsened even further.
The doctor has suggested an activity stop, and after repeated discussions about this, the result is that from here on, until the August 21st live, Moran will continue as just three members with a support bassist.
In-store events will be the same, and we want to take the form as 3 members up until August.
Until Moran’s 1st Oneman Tour「Escort to the Deepest」, we hope for Zill to recover from his illness, and the members, staff, and all concerned are concentrated on this.
After this for events and the tour and such, Zill’s performing has become impossible, so we deeply apologize to the fans as well as any authorized people for the heavy trouble.
Though the truth is that Zill himself wishes he were strong enough to perform, after thinking about activity from here on out as well as his physical condition, this was a distressful decision.
We hope that all of the fans will also pray for Zill’s recovery.
Please continue to support Moran from here on as well.

Exactly what is wrong with Zill wasn’t said, but all the same, let’s all hope for a speedy recovery!
