o-parts-ends-activity

O-PARTS will be completing activity on September 5th, making the live at Kichijouji CLUB SEATA their last.

As far as a reason goes, sho-ka has plans to devote himself mainly to his solo work.

Both members mutually agreed to carry on on their separate paths, and rather than disbanding or pausing activities, they’ve decided to say that they have “Completed” Activity. And they hope that from here all of the fans will continue to support them as they continue on their different paths.

Here are the individual messages from the members:

Sorry for always being selfish.

But thank you all for coming to see us.

So on that note, remember us lovingly.

Thanks for everything.

sho-ka

Thank you for always supporting us.

It was only for a short time, but we are very grateful to everyone.

Thank you so much for pouring all of your love into O-PARTS.

Please forgive us for making such a sudden announcement.

We’ve canceled all plans to have lives after September 5th.

It’s because of sho-ka’s wish of perusing his solo career and because I can personally understand his wish.

Although the live on the 5th will be our last, we’ll do it the way we always do with all of our might.

sho-ka who didn’t have any work for a while offered me a chance to take the stage again as O-PARTS, and during the time we worked together I discovered a lot of different things.

So
I respected this new sho-ka’s feelings to want to try hard from the beginning.

Even though the completion of activities as O-PARTS is unfortunate,

The both of us want to continue new musical lives. Your understanding makes me happy.

It was posted that Keith has disbanded. Their last live was held on August 20th at Ikebukuro RUIDO K3. Yukia posted about the disbandment in his blog.

To all fans who came to our lives, even to those who couldn’t come but still supported us, and to all the staff… thank you very much.

It’s been a very brief period, but I’m really glad everyone enjoyed being with Keith.

How were our lives?? Were we able to relay Keith’s music properly??

There are many things I want to say and things I can’t say in this entry, but I can’t put them together.
Frankly, I still don’t feel as if this is already over.

I was the last to join Keith… We’re a band that always keeps laughing, to the point that we get scolded for it (laugh). We have fun, act stupid, laugh… talk serious, fight, make good things together.

If I think about it, it’s been nine to ten months since Fuji Rock. To have been in such a fun band was a first… We members are really happy.
I didn’t give it my all as a leader, but the guys always supported me… During lives the fans up front would always give me strength. Those were truly the best times.

As a bassist, I wonder if my voice reached everybody? If I did, we Keith members are happy. We really, really love you guys.

I feel truly sorry that it has come down to this.

I’m really very sorry.
As we’ve said in our live, us members will be going on our separate ways from here on.

Someone will quit from music, someone will continue, and even someone will go behind the scenes.

Our ways of living will be different, but as Keith members we won’t change because everyone supported us. If everyone keeps Keith alive in their hearts, we would be truly happy.

That’s also my last request to you all.

It’s been short-lived, but thank you very much.

Keith Yukia

ネオン (Neon) will be disbanding after their sponsored 3-man on September 15th. Here is an official announcement, which was posted on each member’s blog:

We have an announcement for all of the fans who have been supporting Neon.

This is the most positive answer we arrived at after much discussion between the members.

It’s only been a short eight months since we started our activities, and although they’re coming to an end, we are truly grateful for Neon the band and the fans who have encountered our music.

We only have a short time remaining, but so that we can finish with no regrets, we want to show you all of our gratitude.

We are sincerely sorry to all of our fans for having to make this type of announcement.

We hope that you will support us until the end.

ayabie-disbanding

It has come to our attention that as of today, Ayabie will be disbanding after six years of activity.

Regarding Ayabie,

For the group to progress in harmony with one another, the band members have decided to go on their separate ways.

Among the members Yumehito, Takehito, Intetsu, and Kenzo, the four have decided to continue on as a new band, and from August onwards, all such details regarding activities and the new fan club will be posted on this official homepage.

Above was a translation of the message posted on d-n-l.jp, the official website of Yumehito, Takehito, Intetsu, and Kenzo’s new group.

The following are separate translations taken from the members’ blogs:

Yumehito:

Dearest everyone, this is it.

I completely understand how everyone feels.

So much it hurts.

I’m really sorry.

Why things couldn’t work out, and why they ended this way.

It was tough and stressful. Many things have happened.

Everything seemed unreasonable.

I’ve made all of you worry.

I’m really very sorry.

But I don’t want to continue music fooling myself.

The person writing these words right now is the real me.

I’m delivering the truth to everyone from here on.

I have good faith.

As I face everyone,

Let’s stay closer.

I believe that this is the right choice.

Let’s spend our days together even as this summer ends.

Takehito:

To all fans,

Thank you for always supporting Ayabie.

I really apologize for this sudden announcement.

It’s been roughly a year since Ayabie’s major debut.

Ayabie’s activities have begun to slow as changes in the circumstances around us have grown.

And with these circumstances, I believe the feelings of understanding among us five members have begun to diminish as well.

More than anything, I just wanted Ayabie to continue making music that was us.

Even if the circumstances around us couldn’t change quickly enough, I believed that as long as the feelings of the five of us started coming together again, we could do anything.

In the end, at the very last moment, I tried to find even the smallest possibility of that happening, but I’ve realized that I couldn’t find anything any more.

I’m really sorry.

From here on, I’ll start again with Yumehito, Intetsu, and Kenzo.

I hope that all of you will come to understand this someday.

Intetsu:

To everyone who has supported Ayabie,

This is Intetsu.
I apologize for surprising you with this announcement.

To have formed and continued this band with Takehito, Yumehito, Kenzo,
And with Aoi whom I have worked with for a long time,
I am very disappointed that we have come to continue on our separate ways.
I cannot express this disappointment enough.

It’s been six years since we began our activities at Takadanobaba Area in 2004.
We’ve had many encounters.
Kenzo joined us.
Then Yumehito joined us as well.
We held lives all over the country, and all over the world,
And last year, to have finally made our major debut,
We finally became a band that many people wanted to listen to.

If I were to sum up my life in words, I would say I was “Ayabie’s Intetsu”.
A band that gave its everything.
We have agonized long before before coming to this decision.
As all our fans know,
I love Ayabie’s music,
And I love a live where everyone in Ayabie is there.

As everyone knows,
Ayabie has become unable to continue with lives or making music.

To have arrived at this decision,
It was because it was against the members’ true wishes to continue on with the group as it is now.

We live to create music.
That is the sole reason for our decision.

Because we have arrived at this just a few days ago, we are yet to have further details regarding this announcement, and as for the four of us as well.

I love what we have come to achieve as Ayabie.
And I will continue to treasure that from here on.
I’m sure Aoi will continue on as well,
And as the four of us begin again,
I would be happy if you would be able to watch over us.

We had planned on holding a final live,
But discussions weren’t able to push through.
I’m really sorry.

We are sorry for being such selfish members.

From everyone at Ayabie,
We thank you for everything.

Kenzo:

I’m sorry for this sudden announcement.

We never meant to make everyone sad. Please forgive us that it has come to end this way.

The four of us will walk down the same road from here on.

Many things have happened, but we believe this is for the best, and I would be happy as long as everyone supported our decision.

We are sad to hear of this great band’s disbandment, but we give our best wishes to all the members as they continue on their separate ways.

Thanks to everyone who has sent this in.

GallowS have announced that on July 27th, they will be disbanding.

The sentiments between the members were pretty much the same, so the following is a translation of Kaede’s blog:

We, the girl’s band GallowS will be disbanding on July 27th after our live at Meguro Rock Maykan.

We are truly grateful to all of the fans that have been cheering us on until now, and to everyone connected to the band for their support.

Thank you.

Even if I think about it now, I don’t know if we were together for a short time or a

long time, but I truly feel glad to have been part of GallowS.

I feel that I’ve been blessed to work with these truly good members, the staff and the fans.

We’ve climbed over many wells together, but now, we’ve decided to take different paths.

This decision is not a result of coming to a wall that we couldn’t get past, but it’s something that takes us to the other side of the wall.

Even if you say, “the other side of the wall”, it’s been decided and it’s not something where we just want something that has another flavor to it, so don’t get me wrong.

There are members who will continue in music from here on, so they will definitely be performing in front of you again, so at that time, please warmly cheer them on.

Please support them.

Information about the member’s future activities after the disbandment will be available on our blogs and the OHP, so please check it out.

With all that’s been said, let’s all – the members, staff and fans, finish off with a smile.

Let’s bless our next departure by already laughing.

Please show me your smile.

The following announcement was posted in the member’s blogs:

Important Announcement

At this time, we want to thank everyone for their ongoing support of the continuous session band, REECH.

Without forgetting our feelings of gratitude, the members have been doing activities day after day.

As far as our reasons go, we’ve been constantly going since our first live, and along with members leaving, we feel that welcoming new members into the band along with keeping up our activities isn’t something that’s simple to do, making doing the session band difficult.

It’s thanks to all of you, and your heartfelt support that REECH was able to do our live activities, however, the members all agree that for now it’s time that we head back to underground activities.

We’re unsure of what our goals are for the future, but we feel that a day will come when we want to show you the growth that we’ve made.
