kuro-leaves-vanish-member-comments

Vanish have announced that their drummer, Kuro, will be leaving the band due to musical differences. Both the band and Kuro do plan to continue on with musical activities in the future.

The following announcement was posted on the band’s OHP:

An important announcement from Vanish – February 1st, 2012

Thank you for your continuous support of Vanish.

We have an important announcement from Vanish for you.

Up until now, we’ve been doing our activities with our drummer, Kuro, however, after our live on February 20th, he will be leaving the band.

We deeply apologize to everyone who has been supporting things turning out this way.

There isn’t a lot of time left until February 20th, however, we hope that you will continue to support the current members of Vanish.

February 1st

Vanish Members, Staff

The members have all written comments about Kuro leaving the band.

Kuro

I know this comes as an unexpected announcement, but after our live on February 20th, I will be leaving Vanish.

To all of the fans who have been supporting me for these past two years, and to the staff who I’m indebted to, I can’t even begin to thank you enough.

As for the decision to leave the band, my reasons are mostly due to my way of thinking about music differing from those of the band.

MAY, Sayo, and JUN who went from support, to a full-fledged member, we’ve shared a lot of joys and pain, and I hope that we will continue to work together and learn from each other.

Both Vanish and my own personal band activities will continue, so I hope that you can continue to give us your warm support.

Kuro
(Vanish Drums)

Sayo
I’m terribly sorry to everyone who has been supporting us about the unexpected announcement.

On February 20th, after our show at Ikebukuro BlackHole, our drummer Kuro will be leaving Vanish.

It’s been about two years since we started.

Together, we’ve stuggled together, through losing members, our bearings, and through hardships.

However, after talking together with everyone, we came to accept Kuro’s decision.

I’m sorry to those who feel that this decision means we’re betraying you.

It’s something that’s painful, and difficult for the fans, but February 20th will be the last day that Vanish will be as it is now. However, because it’s Kuro’s last live in Vanish, I hope that we can all become one, and make it an awesome performance.

Sayo
(Vanish Guitar)

JUN
It was a sudden announcement, but as the result of many discussions, and due to musical differences, our drummer Kuro will be leaving Vanish after our performance on February 20th.

When I had just become a member of Vanish, Kuro shared with me a lot of great memories from Vanish.

Because he’s that kind of guy, he worried like nothing over what would happen, and I think that without bending to my own feelings, this the answer that we came up with.

It’s disappointing that after February 20th, we won’t be able to continue on with Vanish being the four of us, but we’ll continue to put all of our energy into our activities, so I hope that you will continue to support us.

JUN
(Vanish Bass)

MAY
First, a message to everyone who’s been supporting Vanish.

I’m really sorry for the way that things have turned out.

In the past, we’ve had members leave, making this the second sad memory, but after countless conversations, it turned out to be something that we couldn’t avoid. We talked for hours about where the band was going, and what kind of things we’d be doing, and we ended up not agreeing. So in the end, this is the conclusion that we reached.

When we were thinking about Kuro leaving the band, we got the opinions and advice of many different people about how to continue on with our band activities, and those talks were filled with pep talks.

However, there are some feelings that you just can’t change, and therefore the only choice left was the option for Kuro to leave.

Nevertheless, both Vanish and Kuro will continue making music. I hope that you will support both us, and Kruo, as I believe that both of us will put all of our energy into what we do.

It might be painful for those who come on February 20th, Kuro’s last live with Vanish, but please come and watch us.

Also, Kuro will start new activities from hereon, so please support and encourage him.

Thank you.

And finally, to Kuro.

Vanish is the first band I’ve been in, and I just want to say thank you for all of the fun and good times we’ve had being in the band, for the troubles and pains, and for teaching me so many things.

After February 20th, you will no longer be behind me [on stage] supporting me, but I’ll continue to protect Vanish when you’re gone.

After this let’s grow together as friends and rivals.

MAY
(Vanish Vocal)

As mentioned in all of the member’s posts, the band’s final live with Kuro will be on February 20th. It will take place at Ikebukuro BlackHole, and costs 2800 yen a piece, and are currently on sale.

TOWMA Leaves dolore

towma-leaves-dolore

ZERO posted this message to his blog on January 21:

I’m deeply sorry for the sudden report.
Due to several matters, dolore’s TOWMA left the band on 1/20.
Though everyone is going to be shocked by the sudden announcement, the report regarding this matter will be considered as stated above.
Hereafter as four, ZERO, SHOGA, LEONA, and HIZKA, we’ll continue activities, so please support us from now on as well.

Translator’s note: I believe in the third line he’s trying to say that this is all the band is going to say about it.

TOWMA has already been removed from the band’s OHP, which incidentally has no message about his departure. With such an unclear statement it’s uncertain whether TOWMA will continue along in the industry or not, but I suppose time will tell.

Shoutaro Leaves LAMF

shoutaro-leaves-lamf

Do you remember when we introduced ラムフ (LAMF)? Pointed out by kano, one of our readers, it seems guitarist Shoutaro has left the band, turning it into a two-member project with just kazumi and Naoto remaining. Fortunately, it seems they’ve acquired a support guitarist pretty quickly! That would be ex-Ellseed member, Suzu.

The band doesn’t seem to be slowing down, either; they’ve launched a Myspace and Facebook pages where you can listen to a preview of their music as well as stay up-to-date on their activities.

Kei to depart from Virgil

kei-to-depart-from-virgil

It was announced that, after their 11. December live at Ikebukuro Black Hole, Virgil’s guitarist Kei will leave the band.

Here’s Kei’s comment about this sudden decision:

This 1 year, I was able to have activities with this band because of the members and staff crew, and, I think, more than anyone-because of everyone who supports Virgil.
I honestly thank you.
Virgil and me came to walk on different roads,
and from now on Virgil will keep on energetic activities, so please welcome the new Virgil too!
Until the 11th December Ikebukuro Black Hole oneman live, as I’m still doing activities as a Virgil member, I’d be really happy to receive only gentle looks from everyone and that 11th December live will be really fun and enjoyable.

haruka-leaving-deiz-and-band-goes-to-activity-pause

Bad news I bring here. It was suddenly announced that vocalist Haruka will depart from D’eiz after their 2. November live at Ikebukuro Black Hole. Haruka departing is a result of a numerous discussions between the band, and the only reason that was officially stated are his personal reasons. D’eiz will release a “BEST ALBUM 「BELLSTRIP」”,  which was also scheduled for November, but they will inform on the release date later. Along to all of this, the band will go to an activity pause after the above mentioned live.

Sawayaka Allergie to go on Activity Pause

sawayaka-allergie-to-go-on-activity-pause

Some sad news! Sawayaka Allergie’s Vo. Itsuki and Dr. Masu will be leaving the band after their live on November 13th. Sawayaka Allergie will not disband, but they will just go on a hiatus.

Here is the official message from their OHP:

This is quite a sudden announcement, however, due to our vocalist, Itsuki, and drummer, Masu, leaving the band, we will be going on an activity pause for a short time at the end of our live on November 13th at Ikebukuro CYBER.

Furthermore, both members are leaving by their own free will.
We are extremely sorry to everyone who has been supporting us.
We all believe that this is the best decision for our future activities.
We hope that you can understand our position.

It’s undecided when we will start up our activities next, however, from here on we  only will do the things we want to do, and without hesitation, will selfishly perform.また、□□□□で□□□する□□も□□□なのではないかと思います。*

Now (in our second era) there are about only three lives left for Sawayaka Allergie.

October 8th @ Urawa Narciss
October 13th @ Ikebukuro Chop
November 13th @ Ikebukuro CYBER

Although we are an inexperienced band, we will put all of our power into our music until we go on hiatus, so we hope that you will continue to support both Sawayaka Allergie and all of our activities.

The Members of Sawayaka Allergie

*It is perceived that this is an inside thing with the members and their fans, so its hard to translate it without understanding it’s full meaning. Therefore, we just left it alone!

If you go onto the member’s blogs you can also see messages that they’ve posted about the departure and hiatus.

Well, I really admire the band for deciding to go on, even after they’ve lost quite a few members! Hopefully they’ll be able to find good members for their band.

DWP Loses koUME & Goes on Pause

dwp-loses-koume-goes-on-pause

DragonWAPPPPPPER have announced that they will be going on an activity pause due to their vocalist, koUME’s descision to leave the band.

The following message was posted on their OHP and in the member’s blogs:

An important message from DragonWAPPPPPPER.

Due to DragonWAPPPPPPER’s vocalist, koUME’s decision to leave the band, we will be going on an activity pause after our oneman live on November 23rd at Takadanobaba AREA.

We talked about welcoming a new vocalist into a ranks and continuining on with activities, however, the conclusion that we came to was that with where we are now, it would be difficult to have someone new performing the music that the five of us made together, and performing on stage with DragonWAPPPPPPER.

We have about a month left, and the five of us will continue forward with all of our power so we hope that you will continue to support us.

The members of DragonWAPPPPPPER

No words yet from koUME on his decision, but a few of the other members have updated apologizing for the break.

The band’s last oneman live together will be on November 23rd at Takadanobaba AREA and is titled “6piece”. Tickets cost 3000 yen a piece and are currently on sale.

If you’d like to catch the band together as they are one last time, they are currently on their “6piece tour”. Upcoming dates and venues are as follows:

October 8th @ Nagoya HOLIDAY
October 9th @ Osaka FANJ
October 21st @ Urawa Narciss
October 22nd @ Ikebukuro BlackHole
