ad-loses-saki

A&D have announced that their guitarist, SAKI, will be leaving the band on October 10th after their performance at Nishikujou Brand New.

SAKI posted the following entry in his blog:

It’s a little late, but I wanted to make a proper announcement about it.

It’s unexpected, but on October 10th, after our oneman at Nishikujou Brand New, I will be leaving the band.

I thought about all of the various ways and possibilities there were for me to continue on in music, however, in the end I realized that doing music was difficult for me and after talking with the members, I’ve decided to leave.

I sincerely apologize to everyone who has been supporting me during my time as a member of A&D.
Even though I’m not saying that I want to retire or that I will be retiring, I offer my heartfelt apologies to everyone for the trouble and the concern that I have caused.

Futhermore, I am grateful that I will be able to perform as a member of A&D until October 10th.

Until the very end, I’ll be positive as my role as a guitarist in A&D, and I’ll send you our music.

Of course, A&D will continue on.

Even though I’ll be taking a different road, until the end and for the A&D that will continue to advance in the future, I want to create a space where we will all be tied together.

This really was an unexpected announcement and I apologize for that, but please continue to support both me, until the end, and A8D as they continue on.

The band’s oneman live on October 10th costs 3000 yen to attend and is titled 「NO>>>Eternity」. Tickets go on sale starting August 20th.

luzmelt-down-to-2

Earlier this week, guitarist Asuka has left the group making Luzmelt into a duo. The band lost two members back in May, which we posted about over here.

We already talked about the guys performing at DOTCON, on November 13-14. So far they list ex. DEPAIN’s Haren as bass suporrt and U-YA as supporting drums. Not sure what their plans are for the convention, if they continue to go.

leon-down-one

It seems that 夕慈 (Yuji), the vocalist of 獅音-LEON- has decided to leave the band. Here is the band’s official announcement regarding his decision:

As of August 6th, our vocalist Yuji has decided to leave the band.

We want to offer our sincere apologies for such a sudden announcement.

His decision to leave was a result of much discussion with Yuji himself, the members, staff and also his family. It was a truly difficult decision to make.

Some time ago, Yuji had fallen ill with a disease called chronic myelogenous leukemia, which weakens his physical condition, and therefore he would sometimes be fatigued. However, due to his own will, the support from his family, members and staff, as well as the support from all the fans, he was able to continue on with activities.

But, as we mentioned in our blogs, on the night of our live on June 20th, Yuji’s condition suddenly worsened, and he was unable to be on stage that night.

Still, without being negative about the situation, we took to the stage without our vocalist Yuji. After that, we hoped that Yuji would make a full recovery, and that the five of us would be able to stand on stage together as -LEON-.

However, Yuji’s condition didn’t show signs of getting better, and upon hearing from the doctor that continuing on in music would be too difficult, he come to the conclusion to leave the band.

Being unable to live up to everyone’s expectations is something that disappoints us, and that Yuji regrets more than anyone else.

For the time being he will devote himself to fighting his illness, and even though it seems he will not be standing on stage in front of you all, he will someday conquer this disease, and we feel that there will be a day where he can sing on stage again.

At that time, we would be happy if you could support the members, and Yuji.

-LEON-’s future is not coming to a stop, and we will use this hard decision as a spring board to become stronger, and move forward.

We hope that you will continue to support both -LEON- and Yuji.

All the members of -LEON-

By the way, don’t forget to check out the interview Shattered-Tranquility.net has done with -LEON- some time ago!

boogieman-loses-junno

boogieman have announced that their vocalist Junno has left the band and that due to his departure, they have cancelled their currently scheduled lives.

The following notice was posted on the band’s OHP:

At this time, our vocalist Junno has decided to leave boogieman due to being in considerably poor health.

Junno made the decision himself based on the diagnosis from the doctors, who told him that they felt continuining on in the band would be too difficult for him.

In addition, Junno, along with the boogieman members and staff talked about the future of the band, and decided that with these circumstances it would be impossible to carry out our scheduled performances, and we therefore have decided to cancel them all.

We will be updating about boogieman’s future in due time.

We deeply apologize for the trouble that this has caused.

That is correct, guitarist Zachi and drummer Tumi are both have left the band LOKI. Zachi just joined the group after the disbandment of his previous band, dotrip in 2009. Their official withdrawal seems to have happened at their last live on July 24th.

lix-down-three

LIX. have announced that after their sponsored event on September 25th, vocalist Ryu, bassist Yasuhiro and drummer Sho will all be leaving the band.

Ryu posted the following announcement in his blog:

Thank you to everyone who came,
to everyone to performed, and to all the staff at Meguro Rock Maykan
for LIX.’s first sponsored event, 「Deadly Sanctuary」.

Also, we’re really sorry for confusing everyone with our unexpected announcement.

Just as it’s been written in the other member’s blogs, Ryu, Yasuhiro and Sho have decided to leave the band.

Honestly, I thought we’d post it in our blogs and on the official site to let everyone know after the live was over.

But, the day of the event I saw the flowers that everyone had sent us, and I felt that it was necessary to tell you all first hand, so I discussed it with he members and we decided to do that.

I can’t really give you any minor details at this time, but we’ll be making a more proper announcement at our event in Osaka, so please wait a bit.

What I can write for now, is that it’s not something like the members having a falling out. It’s something we thought about time and time again…

I’ll say it over and over, but I truly truly truly am grateful to all of those who came to 「Deadly Santuary」.

The last remaining member, Yuu, posted this announcement in his blog:

Without being completely sentimental, we have nothing to do but face forward.

No matter what happens, no matter how many friends or enemies you make or even if you’re all alone, you have to always rely on your own power.

September 25th will be the last live with the current members, however, we’ll show you the best that this band has been so far!

I’m sorry to those of you who came to our sponsored event and who are coming to the live on July 25th, but I guess the sponsored lives are already done…

I can’t do anything but face forward, so I can’t ask for any more for the band, and I’ve decided that I’m not going to reach the pinnacle of my career as a guitarist until the very end.

If you get what I’m saying, come to the live…

decola-hopping-loses-ryousuke

Sadly DecoLa Hopping has lost another member making the group go down to a trio.

Fuyuki

I have important news for everyone….
At this time, DecoLa Hopping’s bassist Ryousuke has decided to leave the band.
I apologize for sharing this unfortunate news with all our fans.
We are sad to see him leave since he was with the band for a long period of time and was the mood setter of the band.
I hope everyone can understand the answer to his departure.

Fukus

Apology
Since it’s been up on the HP, I’m sure many of you already know, but…
The bassist Ryousuke has decided to leave the band.
First the drummer Chiba…and now Ryousuke left, and I truely apologize to all our fans that have always given us their support.
This was also something that we couldn’t resolve that I feel was a mistake.
I am truly sorry.
Since Ryosuke was there for the beginning of our band, I have put a lot of effort into playing with Ryosuke. It was like a continuation of our hobby in Toyohashi and we put all our energy to it.
The first time we did a live in Holiday Nagoya, I was immensely succumbed by our own immaturity and moved that we did a oneman live. Then last year, we were taped together on TV.
Truly this long time we have had joy and sorrow together, so it is natural that there is feelings of emptiness.
However, I hope that somehow his life can be watched over with kind eyes.
I am deeply sorry for this unfortunate announcement.
DecoLa Hopping thanks you for your cooperation.

Suiya

Important News
It’s been a while since I have updated my blog, so I’m sorry about that *sweatdrop*
Well…..

To everyone who has been to the DecoLa Hopping homepage, I’m sure you know by now, but
On June 15, our bassist Ryosuke has decided to quit the band.

The circumstances that were reached on him parting ways with the band was by his own wishes.
It seemed like to Ryosuke that he could do more important things then the band.
The members also decided to accept this to respect his opinion.
My apologies to all of our fans who were come to find this abrupt news to be very shocking, and couldn’t properly announce it on stage.
However, this was something that all of the members and the label have talk together many times and came to a decision on.
I hope you can understand.
We have only 3 members left, but even in one day, we will quickly stand up on stage and take on the challenge with all our strength!
So please wait everyone~
And please continue supporting DecoLa Hopping!

In the end….
To our friends, family, and everyone who has given us support..
Suiya will not disappoint everyone’s expectations!
So I will do my best!
For the meantime, I want to do a live real soon!!

Unfortunately Ryousuke deleted his blog before we could translate his last message. Lets wish the band the best and hope they continue on with a new member…

AND (Ikuma, Kiri, PEC, Ken, Suzune), All Staff Members

In Suzune’s blog, he also posted the following comment regarding his decision:

I’m sorry for the unexpected announcement.

After our live on August 8th, I will be leaving the band.
Arriving at this decision, was the answer that I came to after seriously thinking about myself as a musician.
At first I was hesitant about it, but thinking about my future, I don’t want to lie to the members, everyone connected with the band, all of you who have been cheering me on, and above all to myself.
I started tihnking, Isn’t it wrong to continue on being in and if this is how I feel?
Throughout the tour, it was like I was looking for something, and as we went through our performances, I thought that if I talked to everyone, I’d definitely be able to find an answer.
So I did our tour with that in mind.
Honestly speaking, the feelings that I want to feel, I’m not having on this stage.
That’s how I felt.
I guess if you want to put it simple, you can say it’s “musical differences”.
But I want to make sure you know that everything I’ve done with AND, the music that we’ve created in AND… it hasn’t been a lie.
I want you to know that.
I’m really sorry to everyone who has been supporting AND.
I don’t want to make you sad.
I wouldn’t be able to stand it if I lie to all of you who have saved me time and time again.

There’s two months left.
I’m going to put all of my energy into what I can do.
I also feel like now, I’m searching for myself, and there I’ll find my answer.
So, please watch over my warmly.

Even though we’ll be taking different paths… even though the next time we meet will be on a different stage, I don’t feel like I have any regrets from these past three years of activity [with AND].

Thank you for everything.

The announcement was late to be posted in my blog,
but I really didn’t know what to say.

Sorry, everyone.

paranoir-down-one

≒色 (Iro) has decided to leave Para:noir after their first oneman 「Paranoid Personality」, which will take place on the 21st of August. Here is the official band announcement:

Announcement regarding withdrawal of member

We regret to announce that as of the SHIBUYA RUIDO K” Para:noir 1st oneman “Paranoid Personality” gig on 21st August, the drummer Iro will be leaving the band.

The reason for this is the different opinions in terms of music, and the lack of enthusiasm for the band. After consultations within the members, it has turned out to be this way.

Each member wrote a comment about that fact as well:

Iro’s Comment:

I really am sorry for the sudden announcement.
As of the Shibuya RUIDO K2 one man gig on 21st August, I, Iro will be leaving Para:noir.
It has been about a year since the band formed and started and I have continued as the drummer of Para:noir, however, I started to notice the difference in enthusiasm between the other members and I in terms of music.
At first I thought that the passing of time and continuing with our activities would change this, but this only brought about bigger differences between us, and it was beginning to become difficult to shorten this distance between us.
Due to this difference in motivation towards our music, it became a hitch which we knew would have a bad affect on our work, which would not be good. I talked about this with the other members.
And so, it came to the conclusion that I would withdraw.
In a band, even if one member is lacking in motivation we can not make good music. That’s why I know that bringing on this conclusion myself is selfish and inconsiderate of me.
However, this was all I could do.
I really am sorry.
But, I have shared many happy times, and also times when I would have my mistakes corrected, with these amazing members; Akane, Satoshi, Yuuya and Shou. I will value these irreplaceable moments.
It will be one of my treasures in life.

Akane,
Satoshi,
Yuuya,
Shou,
thank you so much.
And I really am sorry.

I will do everything I can and work very hard in the 2 months until our one man gig. I will put my full effort into running on forward.
Please do support us.
Even after our one man on 21st August, I would like you to give more of your love to the newly headed Para:noir.
Lastly, though it may have only been a year, I, Iro, as the drummer of Para:noir, am full of gratitude and apologies to the other members, to those involved and to those who supported us.
I am proud to have been able to be part of Para:noir and to have had all the support from so many people.
Thank you so much.
And I am sorry for my selfish decision.

Drummer: Iro

Akane’s Comment:

I’m sure no one is interested in a string of “pretty words”, so I’m going to be honest.

The truth is Iro’s withdrawing from the band was already decided before our tour in the spring,
We hid this for a long time and continued with the gigs.
We can’t deny that this was betraying the fans.
I really feel bad for that.

“We can do it if it’s the 5 of us.”
We started with that thought.
There’s no doubt that all 5 of us thought that.
The fact that Iro could no longer keep up with this because his enthusiasm was dying down and it seriously disappointed me.

At the least, the only things I have at the moment is music, doing a band, and Para:noir, including all of you who support us; that’s everything.
I found it [Iro's lack of enthusiasm] to be betraying this [everything I have], and I even had some quiet words with him.
But I think the only thing the 4 of us can do is move on forward as that is the only thing we wish for.
To think that Para:noir is losing a member when I thought the 5 of us would continue together for a long time makes me sad.

We are aiming for the top and are raging with excitement against all odds.
Even if you lose sight of your goal slightly, it will tire you out. It’s obvious that you will no longer be able to keep up.

If you’ve lost your motivation, it’s important to be aware of it, and if you’ve lost it there’s not much else you can do about it.

But my feelings have finally started to calm down.
I can’t say I can wave Iro off with a smile, but I have been with him since our previous band and for about a year in Para:noir.
I hope we can continue to be able to laugh together as friends.

We are, by no doubt, pushing forward, with no intention of stopping.
Things may have changed with it being only the 4 of us, but we need you to stick with us.

Please support us.

Satoshi’s Comment:

The first thing I want to say to everyone is the word, “Sorry”.
Saying sorry won’t tie up loose ends, and I have no intention of randomly stringing together “pretty words”, so I would like to give my own interpretation to those of you who have supported Para:noir.

In regards to this withdrawal, we had a lot of talks within the members, and it was not something that we could push past and move on. Rather than “push past”, there were more things that we couldn’t turn away and ignore. You can’t do a band by yourself; it takes shape through the efforts of everyone, but every person’s thoughts and values are different. To have arguments and disagreements because of that is not a bad thing; if anything, I think that is what shapes a band. But I think something that we can’t ignore is one’s enthusiasm towards the band. To be frank, that enthusiasm [of Iro] towards the band was lost, and that is why things turned out this way. There was no longer a feeling of wanting to make an amazing performance on stage, make more music and to keep Para:noir growing [from Iro]. It is because of the reason that Iro could no longer feel the same way as us. If we all can’t have the same feelings towards the band, there will be gaps that we just can’t fill in, and over everything it would be rude to our supporters and fans. It was really tough to hear Iro say in his own words that he no longer thought that he wanted to do music, but I didn’t want him to force himself to continue and to carry on in that situation, therefore it came to this result. But by no means will it be that we, Para:noir, will stop our activities, and we will definitely keep working more and more on becoming a better band. This is our promise to you.

The thought of a withdrawal is sad news, but I have no intention of thinking negatively, and I hope that this withdrawal for Iro will be a big plus to his life and future, and I wish him the best.

Thank you for reading this till the end. Please continue to support Para:noir.

Yuuya’s Comment:

To everyone who has been supporting Para:noir;
I am sorry that this has become a sudden announcement.
After discussing this many times within the members, it has come to the sad conclusion that Iro will be withdrawing.
Personally, I had strong feelings of wanting Iro to do the band with us till the very end, so when I heard about Iro’s feelings I was full of disappointment and felt extremely confused, and I didn’t understand yet didn’t want to understand what he was saying.

Obviously, I know this result isn’t exactly positive, but I promise to those who have supported, helped and been involved with Para:noir, and moreover to myself, that I will put more effort than ever into our work from now on.

Para:noir and Iro.
Though the one man gig on the 21st August will be the turning point for us to move on and take different paths, I would be very grateful for your kind support.

Aizawa Shou’s Comment:

You know how one person is determined to start something and does it?
And how beside that person there are his companions who have that same determination.
People who not only have the same determination, but people who will support you.

At that point in time, if that “flame” inside you blows out…or something like that, we don’t want to let it pass by simply saying “Oh well”. To pretend that your “flame” is still burning when it’s burned out is not admirable. We wouldn’t want that of our members, because we’re not doing music as a performance [only visually].

The only thing I can say in the end is that to make sure that your flame doesn’t burn out, you need to keep adding your own wood to that fire. It’s not something that someone can do for you. By not giving up and using trial and error, you can create many different things within yourself and around you, which becomes a love towards yourself and towards the members.

As part of Para:noir, I have those thoughts. That’s why this is upsetting for me. Because I thought for certain that we could continue with these 5 members.

With one ending, there is a new beginning.
It is one section of a “continuation”.
Para:noir will not stop for a moment.
After the one man gig we will shine on much, much brighter and stronger.
I have confidence in that.
I don’t have any worries.

Firstly, we need to do a commemorative one man gig.
We’re going to smash through our schedule on the 21st August, and everyone needs to come. Can you promise me that?
Let’s make the end of this summer an awesome one.

I may not have been able to put the message across very well, but thank you for reading this till the end.

Please don’t worry, and continue to keep up with us.
