Glam Grammar to lose Ray

Glam Grammar to lose Ray

Glam Grammar, whom after having released their third maxi single 「夢のつづき」(Yume no Tsuzuki) in April, have made a sad announcement. Their guitarist Ray will be leaving the band.

glam grammar
They left an official statement on their OHP, as well as a comment from Ray himself.

An important message to all Glam Grammar fans as well as all staff

Thank you for always supporting Glam Grammar.
We have an important message for everyone.

At this time we are announcing that after the June 22, 2013 live, guitarist Ray will leave the band due to his situation at home.
We would like to express our gratitude and regret to all of the fans and staff who have cheered us on since our formation.

Along with this, we have decided that the present four members — Ayumu, Shuuta, Ritsu, and marsa — will carry out scheduled activities after June 22nd without stopping.

The members and staff will do their very best so please give us your unwavering support.

–The following is a comment from Ray———————–

As has been announced, I will leave Glam Grammar after June 22nd for my situation at home.

I’m really sorry.

I’ve become unable to focus on band activities from here on like I did before now.
However, since my feelings of love towards guitar and music won’t change, I would like to continue with music at my own pace.

I will take a different road than the others, but since I’ll be supporting Glam Grammar from here on, and since I think I’ll go to the lives sometimes, if you happen to see me at a venue please say hi!

In order to to have no regrets as Glam Grammar’s Ray during the remaining time until June 22nd, I’ll give it my all, so let’s meet again with smiling faces!

The time is short, but the time I’ve passed with the members, staff, personnel, and supporting fans is a life treasure to me.

Thank you, really!

LANDZ Akito to Retire

LANDZ Akito to Retire

Sad news for fans of LANDZ today, just after participating in their birthday oneman live on April 15th. They’ve announced that their guitarist Akito will be retiring this May.

akito
The decision comes after several discussions between the members, until eventually they reached the following conclusion. The following was left on their OHP on the 16th, and has been translated by vii-vii.

Important Announcement from LANDZ:

Thank you to all who have regularly supported LANDZ.

At this time, guitarist Akito will be leaving the band after their live show LANDZ 2ND ANNIVERSARY ONEMAN LIVE「Re:birth」in Takadanobaba AREA on 31st of May. The band members have discussed this many times and have come to this decision together. But it is still a disappointing announcement to make. We deeply apologise to everyone who has supported us until now as well as all the coaching we have received from our staff. We only have a short time left together but your unwavering support has made us happy until the end.

Thank you all so very much.

2013.4.16 LANDZ

I’m sorry to all our fans for such disappointing news. Everyone who has supported us regularly at this time has made me happy. But those feelings of happiness aren’t enough to keep going in the band. As for my reason of leaving, I no longer have confidence in playing anymore. It wasn’t these things that made me realise that I had to leave. That can be fatal for a musician, but at the same time continuing would have been cruel towards our fans. So I decided. I could offer fake feelings but I would have nothing to give and I would have nothing left. But reading emails and letters from fans about how much you enjoyed our music and how it made you feel better really held me together. Although I can’t add anything, each live show was seriously fun, even though I didn’t bring anything to the songs. I want to believe that the space we shared was genuine. It’s proof I was part of Landz.

So we all talked about this together as a band and we all decided on my leaving. Thank you to everyone who has given me all their support. I really have so many feelings of gratitude. Nothing else can replace the days I’ve spent in this band.  It’s not just the fans but the other band members too. When someone retires from a band, it’s supposed to be sad, but it’s a very good thing that I’m leaving and it’s a silver lining that I’m not going on bad terms. Even though I’m going a different path now, I’m going to do my best and get past every difficulty. Please support me on this. Now that I’ve written my comment my goodbye seems so fast. Let’s make our last live shows together as full of energy as possible. Until the oneman on 31st of May is over, the other band members and I and everyone, we are all part of Landz.

Let’s have fun until the end.

Akito

I’m sorry for the disappointing announcement. On the 31st of May our guitarist Akito will be leaving the band. It seems so disappointing and cruel in reality but after so much talking about it, I finally came to accept it. This was the only outcome. I’m sorry for such sad emotions. Listening to talk of Akito leaving, lately the need to escape such painful and sad feelings has been strong. But I have to put my own weak feelings behind me in order to protect Landz. Akito’s leaving is really sad and everyone feels this sadness greatly. But I have to push my sadness aside. Overcome our sadness together. It doesn’t mean that Akito chose his own path in bad terms. Akito has written the truth on that. So as the live show on the 31st of May draws closer, let’s make sure we deliver all our strength to the end.

Towa

First of all, I’m so sorry we had to announce this so early in the year. It was very sad to have to get together and talk about Akito leaving. It’s depressing. Akito had become distracted and I wondered if there were a lot of things worrying him. His main objective was to compose music, and I think that he is very sorry to all our fans. But in my opinion, judging by his personality and musicianship, if he had more strength he would continue on. That’s what I think.

I’m sorry.

Over the past six months Akito has become unrelated from the band. Because of this we haven’t forgotten our friendship or our confidence in making music or onstage. We certainly haven’t forgotten who we are or our reason for being. I want everyone to remember our limited time together with just the five of us. What we did together up until now wasn’t for nothing. So I want our limited time together until the 31st of May to be burned into our memories. That’s my wish.
So towa, Akito, haru, Shin, U-YA, I want us to have ownership of Landz in such a limited time. Please give us your support until our last day together.
Thank you.

Haru

I’m sorry for such sad information. Although these sad feelings are strong I would like both the band members and fans to send Akito off with smiles on the live show on 31st of May. I want our remaining time together to be as enjoyable as we can.

Shin

I’m sorry that this is such a sudden announcement. I apologise for such trouble to all our fans and staff who have supported us. Of course hearing Akito’s decision to leave the band left me restless and shocked but I have respect for him after we discussed it together. We each have our own paths to walk and we made the best decision for each of us. The time I’ve had with Akito is valuable. These emotions take over and tie us together so that we remaining members will continue our activities. Our time together with all five members is limited. Thank you so much for your unwavering support and guidance until now.

So lets have the best time together at our anniversary oneman.

U-YA

Akito’s final live will take place at, as mentioned above, Takadanobaba Area. “LANDZ 2nd Anniversary Oneman Live 「Re:birth」” will take place on May 31st, and will cost ¥3000 (¥3500 day of) to attend. Tickets are currently on sale.

Scarlett loses Tsuyoshi

Scarlett loses Tsuyoshi

Earlier in the week, we talked about スカーレット (Scarlett)’s new consecutive releases and briefly mentioned the departure of their drummer.

scarlett
Tsuyoshi officially left the band on April 8th at their oneman at Namiki Junction, and left his official statement on their OHP, along with the other member’s comments. The following was translated by Ku.

■<An Important Announcement>

Thank you for always supporting Scarlett.
We have an important announcement for everyone.

We are announcing that after the April 8th solo performance at Hiroshima Namiki Junction,
It has been decided that drummer Tsuyoshi will leave the band.
We sincerely apologize to all staff and all fans who have supported us up until now
For the sudden announcement and for causing any trouble.

As we will welcome a support member starting April 11th,
We would appreciate your continued patronage.

March 15, 2013
Scarlett
Forum Co. Ltd.

First of all, I’m terribly sorry for shocking you with this very sudden announcement of my departure.
I apologize that it’s come to this kind of announcement.
I think it’s difficult to grasp sudden announcements,
So I’m full of apology for all of the fans who have supported me and cheered me on.

There are many reasons for leaving, but a large reason is that my power has really shrunk when I play music.
It’s that I’ve been losing my passion and ambition for music and drums for a while.
I think it would be difficult to move forward in music from here on with feelings like that and I decided to leave.

But having been able to play drums in Scarlett for a long time,
And the things I’ve learned from the people I’ve met — they are and will remain really precious to me so it was a valuable experience.

I think it’s difficult to understand because it’s a personal, selfish decision, but there is a little time left,
So that I have no regrets,
The members of Scarlett, all staff who have helped us,
And more than anything all of the fans who have supported us through the happy times and the hard times –
I’ll hold dear these and everything [else] I encountered during my time Scarlett.

Scarlett Tsuyoshi

To the staff who have helped Scarlett up until now and to all of the fans,
We deeply apologize for having to make this sort of announcement so suddenly.

Since hearing Tsuyoshi’s intention to leave
We had numerous talks with all of the members and staff.
The result of talking until we could comprehend it was the decision for him to leave.

There is a great feeling of sadness, but it’s by no means a regressive decision;
We feel that together is the very best way to grow.

From here on we’ll walk down separate paths
But would like to support each other.

And from here on Scarlett will be active without stopping.
In order to give everyone even more wonderful music than before.
So as to open up more and more wonderful scenery.
We would like to continue activity with all our power.

April 8th will be the last live with the current members
But from here on we’ll face forward and keep moving along.
We’ll soon have activities while welcoming a support drummer;
Even after this, please continue giving us your unwavering encouragement.

Scarlett Hayato / Shimon / Masaki / Daichi

Gt. Luu of DEPAIN Leaves

Gt. Luu of DEPAIN Leaves

Luu-depain-31928418-213-320

With the departure of the bassist, DEPAIN went on a hiatus in late 2012. Unfortunately, they have some very sudden news for us–guitarist Luu has left the band. Here is a message from the band, and a more personal message from Luu (translated by S-T’s Ku):

A bulletin to everyone supporting DEPAIN

Thank you for always supporting us.
We would like to announce at this time that due to personal circumstances, it has been decided that guitarist Luu will leave the band.
We apologize from the bottoms of our hearts, to all of the fans supporting us and to all of our staff, for this unfortunate announcement.
As for future activity, our current members will discuss things and report back.
Please continue to give us your unwavering support.

It’s been a while; this is Luu.
I’m sorry for surprising you with the sudden bulletin of my departure.

I’ve left DEPAIN, started a normal life, and have had more time to thing about a lot of things
Things that I desperately have to do now.
I was forced to think about how happy I would be with a normal life; an ordinary life.

Thinking about it, I had a dream of playing lives at huge venues with DEPAIN but I’ve completely lost sight of that dream.
And, pouring all my energy into DEPAIN’s music, lives, and operations, I was unable to think about searching for a new base for the future.

When I opened up to the other members they were really nice about it. They’re jerks, but they listened closely and told me that even if I play halfheartedly we should still play together.
We ate nabe and got trashed (laugh)
They’re such good band mates I could cry.
I don’t think that I’ve disappointed anyone with songs that don’t have feeling in them
All of the songs that I’ve made in the past, until now, have had some kind of feeling in them.
I think it would have been really easy before to cheat and play rushed songs live, but that wouldn’t be any good.
More than anything, if I can’t see my own dream, I don’t think I can show it to all of you.
One day the disguising skin will peel away. I know it well.
If my old self looked at the Luu of DEPAIN now, he’d laugh.
So I was able to decide.
I’ll quit DEPAIN.
I don’t want to do things halfheartedly, so I won’t do lives from now on.
I won’t do a last live either. Since parting from you would be disappointing.
I’m sorry to everyone who has always supported me; I’d never been able to write in my blog, either.
I’m sorry.

DEPAIN — and the musical activity from when I came to Tokyo at the age of 18 and was crumpled up by the city — was my purpose in life.
I’m so full of memories that I can’t express it well.
Thank you so much for everything until now.
And I’m sorry that I can’t continue.

The band has been through a lot in a relatively short amount of time but let’s hope that the rest of the members report back with some good news! Send them all your positive energy!

SwallowtaiL Loses Two Members and Delays Album

SwallowtaiL Loses Two Members and Delays Album

SwallowtaiL, whom he haven’t heard from in the last long while, have announced that two of their members will be leaving the band, and they’ve pushed back their album.

swallowtail
They’ve stated that their bassist Yanagi and drummer Yu-ki, have left as of April first. Along with that, they’ve also pushed the release of their first album, which they had originally planned to release this spring, back for a time. They’ll also be pausing live activities while they work on both the album and reforming the band. We’ll keep you updated on that front once anything changes.

The following was left on their OHP, as well as comments from the two departing men.

This is a message from SwallowtaiL regarding the departure of bassist Yanagi and drummer Yu-ki.

We are very sorry that we were unable to get through preparations for the first album as SwallowtaiL with four members, and that despite having announced its release for sping we’ve been unable to keep up with our patrons’ expectations.

The departure of the two who have kept up SwallowtaiL’s rhythm section for so long is a shock, and there is no mistaking that the concept of the album, which is still in production, will change greatly.
However, regarding activity from now on, after establishing [a new formation with] Ryuji and Rai and the admission of new members, we will report once again.

Therefore, we would like to kindly ask our patrons who support and cheer on Yanagi and Yu-ki in their new beginnings, as well as all staff members, to give SwallowtaiL your patronage from here on as well.

SwallowtaiL, all members

Comments from bassist Yanagi

Due to personal circumstances at this time, a change of heart, and so on, I’ve decided to leave SwallowtaiL.

I would like to apologize deeply to all the fans who have been looking forward to things from here, and to the staff.

I have faith that Ryuji and Rai, who will continue activity, will build a new SwallowtaiL.

To all the fans and staff, please give them your unwavering patronage.

For me, from here on, I can’t discuss things right now, but I would like to report on it… in some way or another.

If I may ask, please look over me warmly from here on, and thank you so much for everything until now.

Comment from drummer Yu-ki

Please forgive me for the unfortunate announcement for everyone who had been waiting for our activity.

As for the main reason for leaving, it’s that I gradually started lying to myself about facing the same music as the other members. Since it would also mean lying to the music itself and lying to the other members, I couldn’t do it.

And, since I can’t stand on stage with these feelings, I feel like I’d also be lying to all of you, and since I can’t [perform] halfheartedly I decided to leave.

I am not sure about my activity in the future.

Thank you, to everyone who has continued supporting SwallowtaiL.

Xrista Boots Vocalist

Xrista Boots Vocalist

xrista

Oh, the drama!

We only recently introduced Xrista, ex-OROCHI Yukimura’s (now Lyo) band, yet it seem there already is trouble! After performing less than a handful of lives, Xrista members announced on their Ameblo blogs yesterday that they have booted vocalist Hyuga from the band for various incidents such as money ‘borrowing’, missing rehearsals, and most importantly not showing up for their March 3rd live.

They have put the following post up as explanation.

An important notice from Xrista

At Xrista’s March 3 live, we suddenly had to perform without a vocalist when we received information that our vocalist Hyuga had been in an accident that very day.
However, today we learned that the information we received from vocalist Hyuga’s agent concerning the accident was proven to be false.

Even from before, there was a problem regarding vocalist Hyuga’s typical behavior.
For the sake of Xrista’s formation, the members sympathized with and supported his decision to change his behavior, but he frequently would be absent from the studio without notice, and because of money problems he repeatedly built up debt with the members of Xrista.
On each of these occasions, we strongly cautioned vocalist Hyuga, and he himself also showed intentions of changing.

However, because of the above-mentioned actions, as well as the falsified information regarding the March 3 live,
we have concluded that vocalist Hyuga has not changed at all, and as of today (March 5) vocalist Hyuga has officially been dismissed.

We would like to express our deepest apologies to all the fans that supported Xrista’s Hyuga, as well as to all the staff concerned.

Also, at our live at Ikebukuro EDGE on April 15th, we will continue moving forward with a new vocalist.

Xrista will continue activities from now on, so please lend us your support.

Translated by Elena

Ouch!

Thankfully, it seemed the band is ready to move forward with a new vocalist. Information hasn’t been released on who this new person will be, but when we find out so will you!

If you’re interested in seeing then with their new line up, make sure to see them perform at Ikebukuro EDGE on 4/15!

Lc5 Loses Two Members

Lc5 Loses Two Members

lc5

Bad news for lc5 fans today. This week, members and staff announced that Bassist Sato and Guitarist Yumeji will be departing from the band after their upcoming live on March 13th. It seems Sato and Yumeji are leaving due to musical differences and their paths. We have translated their parting words and the official announcement posted to lc5′s OHP.

An important announcement for Lc5′s fans,
As well as all staff and related personnel

Thank you very much for always supporting Lc5.
We have an important announcement for everyone.

It has been decided that after the March 13th live, Yumeji (guitar) and Sato (bass) will leave Lc5.
We are full of feelings of gratitude for all the fans and all the staff and personnel who have cheered us on since our formation in 2010.
From here on, miku, Reo, and Aki will prepare a new formation and intend to be active as Lc5 from here and beyond, so we would like to ask for everyone’s continued support and assistance.

Below are the members’ comments.

————————
This is Sato.
It’s been decided at this time that I will leave Lc5 after the event live on March 13, 2013.

During the time where we were searching for the course of action from here on as Lc5, my feelings of wanting to try, to know for my own possibilities grew stronger, and after talking with each member and staff I have decided to take a separate path from Lc5.

It’s been about three years since I met Lc5′s members, the staff team, and all the fans.
Beginning with lives and recordings, I was able to have a fulfilling experience that really cannot be replaced.
From now on my activity in Lc5 will be my nourishment for this life that is so limited, and I will continue to express myself my own way without regrets.

It’s a sudden announcement, but thank you so much, everyone, for supporting me until now.

With love and thanks,

Sato

————————
I’ve come to participate in activity with Lc5 up until now, but as the result of searching for [a solution to] musical differences, I was unable to find a reason to continue activities with Lc5 as “Yumeji.”

I am not living up to the expectations of all the fans who have supported me until now or the staff who have supported me behind the scenes, but I will start down a new path without looking back.

Thank you for all of your encouragement.

And, let’s meet again somewhere, someday.

Yumeji

————————
All the fans and all the staff of Lc5 –
I am sorry for startling you with this sudden, unfair announcement.

Since hearing at the beginning of the year about Sato and Yumeji’s intent to leave, we all — the members and the staff — had waited for a time to talk until all of our questions could be answered.

As the result of many talks, we feel like this;
Because we respect these two, we accepted the intent of each of them and we want them to head straight down the path they chose.

I have a lot of sad feelings, but I think for us, now, as similar artists, as good rivals and comrades,
the best path to take is to keep on boosting each other.

I would like to warmly send off the two of them as they go down their new paths after this. And, I want you to anticipate the power and possibilities of Lc5 with a new start.
I promise you all now that we’ll deliver a more amazing “sound” and more amazing “lives” than before in order to not lose to the other two.

March 13, 2013 will be a day for us, as Lc5, that will be remembered for a lifetime,
but we’ll keep on looking forward from here on, too, and moving on.
We would like to ask for your encouragement from here on as well.

Lc5 miku / Reo / Aki

Takashi Retires from D.I.D

Takashi Retires from D.I.D

This probably wasn’t what fans were looking forward to. Drummer Takashi, whom last November had opted out of live activity due to tendonitis, has decided to leave D.I.D and retire from music altogether.

120928_did_official2
The following message was left on their OHP, and has been translated by our own Ku.

An important announcement from D.I.D.

We have an announcement for our fans
in relation to drummer Takashi’s severe chronic tendonitis that was announced last November.

Regarding the aforementioned matter, Takashi himself
Has no desire to turn back to the world of music until he conquers his condition,
And the outcome is truly unfortunate,
But as a matter of fact, Takashi will retire from the music industry.

During these past few months we have received wishes for Takashi’s return,
Many messages, and letters,
But it is very regrettable that that encouragement cannot be lived up to.

From the March 10th Ikebukuo BlackHole D.I.D. 2nd ONEMAN”the Point of No Return,”
We will continue activities while welcoming a support drummer.

We would like to ask for the increasing support of all of the fans from here on as well.

un loses Harui, Goes on Pause

un loses Harui, Goes on Pause

Last week, アン (un) announced some sad news regarding the band. Guitarist Harui will be leaving the band in March, and as well, they will be going on hiatus.

un
The following message was left on their OHP, along with comments from each of the members.

I am truly grateful for the support shown to un since the beginning.
This time we have an announcement for everyone.
The family circumstances of our guitarist Harui have resulted in his withdrawal.
In addition to that, the band is going on a hiatus.
We want to deeply apologize and thank the fans as well as everyone involved who has always supported us since our formation.
The lives which have been decided on up to now are going to be held with the current line-up.
The members and the staff involved are doing their very best, so we would be happy if we could receive your support without any change.

un

To everyone who is supporting un

On this occasion, I, Harui, am going to perform at the live on March 27th and then withdraw from un.
I am very sorry for surprising everyone with this sudden announcement.
I decided to retire due to family matters.
I was worried with what would happen with me from now on, so I made a decision after thinking about all this.
I am very sorry for this ending up like a betrayal of everyone´s expectations when we only started our activities.
But in those 8 months of being active, there were many happy, funny and painful moments with the members, but including all this, it became something irreplaceable.
I am very thankful for being able to make music with Taketoshi, Ine and Yusuke.
It’s my life’s treasure.
Please, from now on, treat un, which is going to continue its activities, well.
Thank you very much.

晴伊 (Harui)

I am very sorry to everyone who is always supporting us.
We ended up saying such a painful thing.
I like Haru-san. We were together and he was always so kind to me.  I was supported by him and was able to sing until now.
Haru-san, I am so very grateful.
Even from now on, nothing will change about the fact I am friends with Haru-san.
I will always wish for Haru-san to have loads of hope.
Haru-san, from now on if there are hard times, I want you to somehow remember our days until now.
Surely you will be able overcome them.
Thank you, Haru-san.
Let’s give our all to all the lives that are left, alright?
In the end, I can’t live without singing.
Everyone, please wait for us.

武敏 (Taketoshi)

Just like the announcement said, Harui-kun is leaving un.
To me, Haru-kun was the best partner.
He was an essential part of un as well.
This was my first time in the band with a twin guitar.
For a long time, I’ve loved the tone of Harui-kun’s guitar.
I’ve always loved the combination of Kettner* and Telecaster*.
I am happy I could play together with such a guy.
The only thing I can do regarding the important decision of such a great partner is sending him off with a smile.
And I can only say thank you.
Until now, one by one, until there was none left, feeling that even if we died tomorrow it wouldn’t be weird, we faced the lives.
Even from now that won’t change.
We’ll also only perform the lives that are left the same way as always, with all our might.
Please, kindly watch over us.

稲 (Ine)

On Harui’s secession

He was always there on the left side of the stage, so it will become really lonely after he leaves.
The path Harui-kun chose might be hard, that’s why I want to support him and I want everyone on cheer him on too.
Without holding back I want to have fun at each and every live that is left with Harui-kun and in the end I want to see him off having fun.

Jilled Ray Hiatus & Departure

Jilled Ray Hiatus & Departure

jilledray

Sad newstoday for Jilled Ray fans. Jilled Ray recently announced on their blogs and website that their guitarist,You-ta, will be leaving the band and they will go on a hiatus until further notice. They posted the following:

This is an important announcement from Jilled Ray to everyone who has supported us as well as all our colleagues and staff who have helped and supported us.

Following the announcement at our live show on the 27th of January, our guitarist You-ta will be retiring from the band. For the sake of our band as well as our colleagues, we have decided to go on temporary hiatus.

We apologise to our fans and staff for such a sudden announcement of our decision.

We each want to continue playing together but we want different things, so for that reason we are taking a hiatus.

We are currently deciding as quickly as we can on how to continue from here by rethinking our plans for the band. Depending on our circumstances we will inform our fans through our blogs and official homepage. Thank you all so much for your unwavering support.

RYU and cray Leave Hi:BRiD

RYU and cray Leave Hi:BRiD

Hi:BRiD

Hi:BRiD has seen its share of difficulties since it formed. It looks like the trials and tribulations aren’t over just yet, as on Saturday the band suddenly announced the departure of two members via its OHP.

[An Important Notice]

Thank you for supporting Hi:BRiD more than ever.
At this time, we would like to report that after the January 26 performance at Ikebukuro BlackHole
Vocalist RYU and guitarist cray will leave the band.
We extend our deep gratitude, and apology for the sudden announcement, to the guests who have supported us until now as well as the staff.

As for activities from here on, we will report as soon as we decide.

Only one member, Zero, has yet commented on the departure, albeit in few words:

On 1/16 two members left the band.

The reasons for leaving are different but they’re about
Wanting to do things other than music and quitting music.

I’m full of feelings of sorrow to everyone
Since it’s only been a little under half a year since our restart.

I’m really sorry.

Since it was such a quick action our activities from here on
Are undecided but we’ll definitely be back.

Let’s have a wonderful time together again someday.

It’s goodbye only for now.

And, thank you.

It doesn’t sound like RYU or cray will be continue in the industry, and as of right now we don’t have comments from either of them to shed some light on the situation. Whatever happens, we wish Hi:BRiD the best.

Lin Comments on Mizuki

Lin Comments on Mizuki

lin_banner

After deliberation with a few staff translators to bring you the best translation possible, the long-awaited member comments are here from Lin regarding Mizuki’s disappearance. We’d like to reiterate with this posting that the earlier announcement that we translated was the official notice released by UNDER CODE. Kisaki’s personal comment is included below.
Feel free to share your thoughts in the comments and continue the discussion on Mizuki’s sudden departure. We would also be glad to answer any questions you may have about the wording or the translations themselves!

●RIKU
The situation came to this suddenly.
Moreover, it wasn’t even direct, but an e-mail only to KISAKI-san.
Even though we’re members, he left us out.
From the beginning of our activities there have always been joys and sorrows, and we were just about to all tell each other to give it our all until the hiatus.
We only just turned toward the dawn of our last year.
There aren’t a ton but there aren’t just a few planned lives left, either, and now we have to do them with four members.
Having reached the dissolution of the label and the last tour as Lin, I just feel like I want to be able to enjoy the feeling of gratitude through the space of the lives for the support until now from the fans all over who we don’t know when we’ll be able to visit again after this.
What was he thinking, to come to such an irrational move?
And his own values? I can’t comprehend abandoning them along the way.
An element of anxiety has been slapped onto things with this kind of end of the end but I won’t change what I’m doing
And even as four members now, more than ever, we will put on the lives, become one, and burn on.
Everyone, please give us your best.

●KANATA
I feel so sorry to everyone for this sort of result.
Seeing the e-mail KISAKI-san received, I really can’t believe it and I’m filled with a feeling of disappointment.
Even though the time we all passed together was long, I can only say that it’s disappointing that he didn’t say anything.

However, I feel like I really want to do Lin’s lives to the fullest as four members, until the end.
As long as you’re supporting Lin, with four members, we’ll burn strong until the end so I’d be glad is you could look after us warmly now more than ever, so everyone can safely face the June 30 one-man.

●REIYA
MIZUKI has left.
I’m really sorry for the abrupt announcement.
As members who have been performing together, I’m furious over this dishonorable action; frankly I’m incredibly mad.
Announcing an indefinite hiatus, the last tour, the last one-man at Osaka BIG CAT on June 30.
I wanted to face these days with five of us.
We only just said, ‘let’s do it’, as the five of us.
Leader KISAKI-san kept everyone’s balance, got our pace together, and we did it with five of us, but this sure is his answer.
I think he made everyone sad, but since we’ve come to this, I want to unite our feelings and go on with the four of us until the end.

I’m really, really sorry. Please look over the four-person Lin until the end.

●KISAKI
Even now, what I can’t believe is his real intentions.
We only just announced Rin’s indefinite hiatus the other day.
There are several reasons for the pause of our activities, but the main is MIZUKI’s family situation and the difficulty he had with continuing in his present state.
I cannot deny the fact that I could not open doors for agreement due to the limitations of our activities.
But because I hold LIN and all its members dear, I adjusted the number of the lives and the schedule as much as possible and I had no intention of burdening the other members in any way.

It’s this kind of guy whose last e-mail I replied to but received no answer. His phone also won’t connect.

Honestly, more than anger, my feelings of grief were stronger.

But time goes on.

As the result of serious talks with everyone in the band and on staff, we’ll do the remaining lives with four members.

As a leader, without being able to put things in order, I really apologize for confusing everyone.

I have so many feelings that I can’t write them all out, but considering I absolutely don’t want to lose to these circumstances, and that I’ll put more effort into the lives now more than ever, I want you to come [to the lives].

To MIZUKI… I don’t know if you’re looking at this or not but your spot will remain [from now] until the indefinite hiatus.

SCAPEGOAT Officially Loses Katsuki

SCAPEGOAT Officially Loses Katsuki

Katsuki

We posted back in November when SCAPEGOAT’s guitarist, Katsuki, had been found after collapsing at his home and immediately hospitalized. Following the incident, he has been on a break from the band in order to focus on recovery. However, at the end of the December, the band posted a notice on Katsuki’s blog in his stead, announcing his withdrawal from the band due to his current condition.

An Important Notice from SCAPEGOAT

More than ever, thank you so much for your support of SCAPEGOAT. It is sudden, but we have an announcement for everyone.

Since November 10 Katsuki has been resting to focus on recovery, but his condition is unsatisfactory to the point of his aim of returning soon being unable to stand. His condition is such that he cannot even post a comment on his blog.

While taking into consideration Katsuki’s physical condition and emotional strain, we had several talks with him, his family, and staff;

We respect his strong will and wishes, and it’s quite sudden, but we will stand in for him to say that after today he will depart from SCAPEGOAT.

We apologize from the bottoms of our hearts to all of the fans to have supported us and to all of our staff, for this truly unfortunate announcement, and for causing any trouble or concern.

From here on SCAPEGOAT will continue with four members; we will devote ourselves more than ever before, so please continue to offer your unyielding voices of support.

SCAPEGOAT, all members

Tak Leaves THE SOUND BEE HD

Tak Leaves THE SOUND BEE HD

tak

Tak, Calmando Qual’s guitarist who’s quite well known for his involvement in countless projects, has left his place in THE SOUND BEE HD as of early this month. It seems that there are no hard feelings, and Tak will continue to be a part of Starwave Records through his involvement in his primary band. THE SOUND BEE HD notified fans recently on their OHP:

To the corpses [fans of the band] who have supported THE SOUND BEE HD, to our friends in music, and to all staff

It’s really sudden but…

As announced at the December 21 live
After guitarist Tak and THE SOUND BEE HD finish the January 6, 2013 live
It has been decided that we will walk down different paths
Tak became an official member last year after playing as THE SOUND BEE HD’s support guitarist…
We played together for about four years’ time but
Activity in THE SOUND BEE HD and Tak’s primary band, Calmando Qual,
at the same time has become difficult

It’s unfortunate but from now own we should enliven each other’s bands,
As good band friends and as good rivals and respectively, even more than now
We feel we’ll face forward and do our best

After this, please give your support to THE SOUND BEE HD which hasn’t changed up until now
And to Tak’s activities

As for the current five-person THE SOUND BEE HD, January 6 at Ikebukuro EDGE will be farewell
And from there, a new start
By all means, please come [to the live]

Furthermore, from this THE SOUND BEE HD is accepting applications for a new guitarist
Everyone who thinks “That’s me!”!!
Please contact Starwave Records or THE SOUND BEE HD members

           THE SOUND BEE HD

Translated by Ku

As stated, the band’s last performance with all five members was on January 6. From here, we anticipate Tak’s focus to shift primarily to Calmando Qual and we look forward to what the future will bring for both bands!

Mizuki Ditches Lin

Mizuki Ditches Lin

lin_banner

Kisaki updated his blog earlier today with an urgent announcement. It seems like Lin’s guitarist, Mizuki, has run out on the band with no notice or explanation.

【An Important Announcement from Lin】

On January 7th, an e-mail from Lin’s guitarist Mizuki announcing his intent to withdraw reached the members of the band, and thereafter contact ceased completely.
All members and staff have deep regret over such an irresponsible action, but after discussion, the four members KISAKI, RIKU, KANATA, and REIYA will perform through the current schedule.
*Whether or not the June 30, 2013 one-man at Osaka BIG CAT will go on is under consideration.

We deeply apologize for so seriously troubling our customers and our staff with this urgent situation.

The single has 2 songs and costs  ¥1200. Thankfully, you can pick it up on CDJapan if you’re interested in hearing more from this band. Below is the track list for the single.

Poltergeist 「Glider」

If you’re in Tokyo for Christmas and have no plans, Poltergeist will be having a special Oneman at the Shibuya O-West, with doors opening at 17:00. Tickets are   ¥3800 or  ¥4200 at the door, with a  ¥500 drink ticket. You can pick up tickets through Lawson or at the band’s next live. In addition, this will be the last live for Poltergeist Drummer Saya, who decided to leave the band after a nasty motorcycle accident we reported back in September. There hasn’t been an announcement on who will be taking over the position, but when we know you’ll know.
