・ Where do you get your information from?
All of our information comes from official sources, such as official websites, magazines, band / label staff members or band members themselves. Even when contact forms are submitted, we double check to see that the information matches that of what’s officially available. If you ever have any questions regarding our sources (all of which are cited), please do not hesitate to contact us.

・ Can I post this news on my site?
Feel free to post news you find on Shattered-Tranquility.net on your own site! We do ask that you do give credit to the site, as our staff puts a lot of work into making sure the site is constantly updated. Translations may not be posted elsewhere without express permission from the staff member who wrote it.

・ Why isn’t my comment showing up!?
To prevent spam, all comments have to pass through moderation before being displayed on the site. Please be patient, your comment should be displayed shortly. If you comment contains a link it may go directly to the spam filter. We look through the filter regularly, but we tend to get a lot of spam and may accidentally pass over your comment. If this happens, feel free to comment again or contact us.

・ Why was my comment deleted / edited?
We will only edit or delete a comment if it is offensive, links to an inappropriate site, can be classified as trolling, or is spam. We’re all for freedom of expression, but if you are unable to express yourself in an appropriate manner, your comment will be removed.

Regardless of whether you like a band or not, a lot of effort goes into the creation of the music, and we ask that you in the very least, show some respect for the artists showcased on the site.

・ Can I send news for you to post?
Of course! Feel free to send us a message via the contact form! Providing the news checks out and has not been posted on the site, it will likely be posted. We appreciate all the support from our readers!

・ If I send something in, will I be credited?
Of course! We’re not out to take information without giving credit to someone if they brought it to our attention! However, if you would like to remain anonymous, please make sure you let us know.

・ I sent something but you didn’t post it / credit me! Why?
Occasionally we cannot post submitted news if there is no official source stating the information, if the news has been already posted, or if we feel it does not make a contribution to the site. Please keep in mind that our staff is always looking for news to post, and sometimes we happen across news before reaching our e-mails. ・ How do I get an avatar in the comments?
To have an avatar display with your name when you post comments on the site, head on over to http://site.gravatar.com/ and sign yourself up. Make sure you use the e-mail address you’ll be using to post comments with. After you’ve activated your account, upload your desired avatar. You must go to click the avatar to select it and have it display. You may have to wait a few minutes for the avatar to display.
