V-ANIME ROCKS!

Visual kei + anime = a match made in heaven? Another compilation album has been announced combining these two elements, with visual bands covering songs from several anime series!

「V-ANIME ROCKS!」 hits the stores on August 1st and has a price tag of 3,000 yen. The compilation is scheduled to have 12 or 13 songs. So far, 12 artists have been confirmed.

To commemorate this release, there will be a special live program on Nico Nico called 「V-ANIME ROCKS! SPECIAL!」on July 28th! Members from Sadie, SCREW and DaizyStripper are scheduled to participate in the broadcast. Fans who reserve the album at one of the participating stores between June 1st and June 30th receive a postcard with which they can apply to be part of the audience! The winners will be chosen by lottery. Postcards are limited in amount, so be quick if you wish to participate!

Big news for cocklobin today!

As they just announced on their twitter, cocklobin has updated with a new look, and posted the PV for their first albums title track, 「Iris」. The album, as we’ve stated earlier, will drop on 2012.7.18 and will cost ¥3175. It’s listed on CDJapan, so preorder now!

New Album for SID

New Album for SID

Some great news for シド (SID) fans today!

They’ve announced today that they’ll be releasing a brand new album! It is set to drop on August first and will be titled 「M&W」. All three types also will contain different bonus material! Type A, costing ¥4500, will have special packaging and live footage. At ¥3800, Type B will hold a different set of live footage, and Type C, ¥3100, will just contain eleven songs. It will also include the title tracks from their four previous singles. We’ll keep you updated when more details on the album become available!

Don’t forget about their M&W Preview Tour starting today, and their official M&W Tour, starting in September! All of those lives will cost ¥6300 and tickets go on sale on July 28th.
