Just before taking the stage Saturday night at Ikebukuro CYBER, ワルガキ （Warugaki） made the announcement that lead guitarist Wataru will leave the band after their next live on December 10th.
On Sunday, vocalist Nozomi reported the following on his blog:
As I announced yesterday, Wataru’s finished after the next live, but Wataru will do his best in another band so please support him (^q^)
A new member will join ♪
I think Warugaki’s going to change from here out for the best!
Warugaki is gearing up for the third and final single in their series of consecutive month releases; 「俺の末端価格」 (“Ore no Mattankakaku”) drops in December.

As of November 26th at HOLIDAY SHINJUKU, 将海(masaumi) (ex-Juliette) had officially joined BugLug as their new drummer.

Doremidan disbanding & 10th anniversary tour

ドレミ團 (Doremidan) announced that they will be disbanding on March 20th 2012 after their last live.
However, prior to the disbanding, the band will be celebrating their 10th anniversary with their last tour.

Kei to depart from Virgil

It was announced that, after their 11. December live at Ikebukuro Black Hole, Virgil’s guitarist Kei will leave the band.
This 1 year, I was able to have activities with this band because of the members and staff crew, and, I think, more than anyone-because of everyone who supports Virgil.
I honestly thank you.
Virgil and me came to walk on different roads,
and from now on Virgil will keep on energetic activities, so please welcome the new Virgil too!
Until the 11th December Ikebukuro Black Hole oneman live, as I’m still doing activities as a Virgil member, I’d be really happy to receive only gentle looks from everyone and that 11th December live will be really fun and enjoyable.xxxx

Ex-Anima Bassist Passes Away

Some sad news from Anima, who have recently restarted activities after a long hiatus.
Announced a few days ago on member’s blogs, it appears bassist 千鳥 (Chidori), who left the band in Janaury, passed away on November 22nd. They are very saddened and surprised at the event, and have stated the funeral service will be limited to family and close friends. Vocalist Shiki has stated that they will release personal statements when the time comes.
May he rest in peace.

A&D have announced that come the new year, they’ll be releasing a new single!
Their new single, “Nostalgia～ノスタルジア～”, will be released on February 8th, and will cost 1890 yen. The single will come with two tracks, plus a DVD with on PV.
They have planned two oneman lives for 2012!
February 4th @ Ikebukuro BlackHole
March 24th @ Osaka FANJ-twice
Tickets cost 3000 yen a piece, and general ticket sales begin on December 10th.

D=OUT have some big news today! They’re planning to release their first major album for next year!
It will be titled MUSIC NIPPON and will be released 2012.2.8.
Like their past album, it will be available in three types.
Limited edition 大 (Dai) [￥3670] will contain 13 songs and two video clips, one a making-of and one a behind the scenes video. It will also have a crystal sleeve.
Limited edition 吟 (Gin) [￥3670] will contain 14 songs, plus a bonus CD titled INDIES B COLLECTION, which contains 10 extra songs and a booklet, and will also have a crystal sleeve.
Regular edition 醸 (Jou) [￥3150] will contain 13 songs and come with one of five member pictures.
They have also announced their 5th anniversary tour, titled FESTA NIPPON, starting March 18th, with a tour final on May 20th!

Remming going on an activity pause

Thanks to everyone who sent tips on this!
Sad news and a very complex situation I bring you here…
On 6th November, Remming’s drummer Kohsuke left and the band has announced an activity pause starting after their 4th December live. However, from members’ comments and a comment from vsoku staff, it would seem more like a disbanding, but let’s just call it activity pause until the band brings up an official decision if they’ll continue their activities as a band or not. Hopefully, they will continue..
There aren’t many information revealed through their comments either, but here’re parts of Sou’s and Chitose’s comments:
Sou:
“I really regret not being able to bring you all with us to the top, with scenery like an infinite starry sky.
Remming won’t be around anymore, but I hope you won’t forget all the songs and music we’ve made up until now.
…
Thanks to all of you, Remming was able to shine brightly.These past 10 months have been so much fun.
I’m happy I was able to meet Chitori, Tomoa-kun, and Kou-chan.I’m happy I was able to meet all of you.
On 12/4 let’s say good-bye with smiles on our faces.”
Chitose:
“As Remming’s unreliable leader, I really regret not being able to keep all the members together.
But we were able to exist as Remming thanks to all of you being there,
and I believe Remming’s music will go on living inside all of you from now on.”

XodiacK on Activity Pause

Looks like we have some sad news from XodiacK today.
They announced at their live on 11.20 that after their live on December 30th, XodiacK will go on activity pause until further notice. Citing Yamihito’s blog, the pause is due to musical differences between the members. They left this message on their OHP.
An important notice from XodiacK
As announced at the November 20th performance at Ikebukuro Blackhole, it has been decided that XodiacK will be going on hiatus in 2012 to take part in long-term underground activities.
As soon as all scheduled performances have been finished, including those not yet announced, the band will pause activities.
Once prospects begin to look good for restarting again, it will be announced on our official site and our blog.
Additionally, please check each member’s blog to hear about their individual activities. Thank you very much.

The members have posted their thoughts on the pause and what they’ll be doing in the future on their blogs. Eros seems to be concentrating mostly on Black Gene for the Next Scene. They have two lives remaining before their pause, plus some that could be announced soon; I’ll update when those dates become available.

Thank you very much for always supporting DuelJewel.
At this time we have an important announcement for everyone.
This is DuelJewel, which has worked vigorously on its own lives and music releases since separation from affiliated office SWORD last year.
Regarding recent activity, Vo. Hayato had come to complain of the poor and unusual condition of his throat.
The result of examination by a medical specialist was advice of “Considering future activities, Hayato should temporarily refrain from activity and devote himself to treatment” from the doctor.
In regard to this matter, as a result of having had repeated talks with all members, it has been decided that Hayato will be made to receive temporary medical treatment up until the Luminous Tour Final at Shibuya O-EAST on February 17, 2012.
In relation to activities for the duration of this treatment, there was a feeling of a strong will from all members, including Hayato, such that they “don’t want to cease DuelJewel’s activities”.
As a result, it has been determined
The March 4, 2012 performance at Takadanobaba AREA and activities after will be continued by four members without Hayato.
Furthurmore, it is difficult to clearly state the timing of Hayato’s return at the present time. While it is based on the state of recovery from ongoing medical treatment and talking with doctors, we would like to inform all fans later on.
Though it is a sudden report and may cause a great deal of inconvenience and worry, we would like to ask for understanding from all supporting fans as well as related parties.
As it is the intention to make the best effort possible to be able to resume activities in the perfect condition of five members, please continue to offer your unchanging support from here on.

In simple terms, the band will continue activities with all five members up through the Luminous Tour Final, while Hayato receives on-the-go treatment. However, after this concert, activities will continue with only four members, minus Hayato.

New live DVD from Sadie

Sadie, who is currently touring and released a new single Rosario-ロザリオ-, has a new DVD coming of their 6th anniversary concert at Namba Hatch! The concert was first supposed to be on March 18th, but was pushed back to July 22nd due to the earthquake.
The band performed even 37 songs at the anniversary concert, but the DVD will include 16 tracks. You can pre-order it from CD Japan!

Not so recent news, but surely a sad announcement for fans of aim. After the vocalist レイ (Rei) left earlier this year, rest of the members have decided to disband and their OHP was shut down this week.
Thank you so much for always supporting aim.
At this time we regretfully announce that along with aim’s recent disbandment, it has been decided that the official site will be taken down on 2011/11/17.
We apologize to all the fans and staff that have helped and supported us until now.
From now on Schwarz, Sakura, and Shota will be carrying on activities in different direction, but we hope that we’ll always have your continuing love and support.
The official blog is still open for now and you can find it here. The members seem to have session bands and will perform at Ikebukuro CYBER on December 4th (as LOST VOICES) and at Takadanobaba AREA on December 12th (as Hysteric Liars).

Ex-SIVA Member’s New Band

This is a bit of older news, but still amazing nonetheless!
It looks like some ex-SIVA members have formed a new band! They were formerly a session band under the same name, but as of October, they became a formal band. Their name is Lucky13 and they’ll have their first live at Shibuya REX on 2012.1.15. Unfortunately their OHP is down at the moment, but hopefully it’ll be back up soon.
The members are:
