acid android recently announced that they will be releasing a Live DVD & a New box set (CD + DVD).
For the [acid android live 2010], the performances from their oneman lives throughout the year of 2010 will be included in this DVD.
It will be releasing on Feb 23rd 2011.
For the [Untitled new box set], there will be a total of 4 CDs & 1 DVD.
The DVD will include live recordings during their performance at STUDIO COAST on July 10th 2010.
It will be releasing on March 30th 2011.

Nightmare to hold Spring Tour 2011

Nightmare recently announced on their website that they will be having a Spring Tour 2011 at several locations around Japan.
Tickets can be bought after March 12, 2011 (Sat) & are priced at 5500 yen.
However, fanclub members can buy the tickets at an earlier date.

boogieman reveals singer & new single

They have finally posted their new look along with their new singer and boy did it surprise me!
Its Syu, the ex singer and member from heartless. The band disbanded back in August of this year. So now that we know who the newest member of boogieman is, what do you think?
The band also announced via their homepage that they will be releasing their 4th single with Syu sometime in March! We’ll have to stay tune, if you haven’t heard Syu’s vocals or heartless’ music before…their myspace is still up with samples so go take a look.
What do you think? Its exciting but I still miss Junno.

D’espairsRay – Best of & new DVD

According to their fanclub mail magazine D’espairsRay are going to release a live DVD and a best of album next year on March 30th. The DVD is called [‘Human-clad Monsters’ – Final] and will cost 4800 Yen. It will contain their live on December 30th, at Yokohama BLITZ which was their last live before the band will go on hiatus. We talked about their hiatus here. There is no tracklist or cover yet. The best of will be released in two types but the regular type will go on sale as soon as the limited edition is sold out. Limited edition costs 4500 Yen and contains a CD + DVD.

ZORO to continue activities with 2 members

ZORO recently announced their hiatus.
However, yesterday during their last performance with all four members at C.C. Lemon Hall,
ZORO announced that drummer Yuya and guitarist Taizo will be leaving the band eventually.
But vocalist Ryuji and bassist Tatsuhi also announced that ZORO will not disband completely,
because the two of them will continue their activities in the future.
Amongst the sounds of sobs and crying of the audience,
Ryuji said: “ZORO won’t break up. I and Tatsuhi will protect ZORO.”
Is this considered good news or bad news ?

I want to introduce you to a project which I personally find very interesting! The project is called GalapagosS consists of members of angura kei bands – メトロノーム (Metronome) and 東京ヒーローズ (Tokyo Heroes)
Vocal, Guitar, Sequence: 小林写楽 (Kobayashi Sharaku) || ex. メトロノーム (Metronome); now in FLOPPY & カッコー (Cuckoo)
Bass: ゴキミ (Gokimi) || now in 東京ヒーローズ (Tokyo Heroes) and グルグル映畫館 (Guruguru Eigakan)
Drums: 新太郎 (Shintarou) || ex. いろは (Iroha) → メトロノーム (Metronome); now in FLOPPY [support]
They have had their first live on December 16th and the upcoming live schedule looks as follows:
January 11th @ Shinjuku URGA
February 11th @ Kitahorie club vijon
February 12th @ Nagoya Music Farm

Golden Bomber making a major declaration!

We have interesting news from ゴールデンボンバー (GOLDEN BOMBER) concerning the rumors they would become major which were clearified on December 27th as musicJAPANplus posted following news on their homepage.
Yesterday on December 27th, Golden Bomber have held their tour finale of their Japan wide tour “Zenryoku Baka (lit.:”100% Idiot”)”, which had been SOLD OUT completely. Moreover, concerning their release “Golden Hour Shimohanki BEST”, scheduled for January 6th, 2011, they also made an important announcement.
This announcement, which was presented at the very end of the live stated that they will NOT go major! As they have kept up their energetic activities during the past year, they apparently received offers from seven major music companies. However, to be able to continue in their own style, they decided to stay independent.
“Because we want to keep doing useless things”, they conveyed to their fans jokingly. For those fans, it was certainly a priceless declaration.
Golden Bomber will be continuing with their unique style and everyone should keep an eye on this air-band. More details on the live performance will be released at MJP shortly so stay tuned!

Another cool news for Dear Dolce bands’ fans. リロード (Reload), whom we have introduced few months ago, have announced the release of a new maxi-single and a sponsored event commemorating it.
The release will be entitled 「KEY to my HEART,」 and will go on sale on February 19th for 1050 yen. The tracklist is as follows:

2. 覚醒Candy (Kakusei Candy)
To commemorate that release the band will hold their first sponsored and free event. It will be entitled the same as the single and will take place on the release date at HOLIDAY SHINJUKU! More details to follow.

One★Star’s two-months consecutive singles and oneman

ワン★スター (One★Star) have not only announced the release of 2 new singles, but also a new oneman live!
The first single will go on sale on February 23rd, whilst the second one on March 30th. Each release will cost 1500 yen and be limited to 1000 copies only. More details about them are as follows:

Furthermore, as mentioned above, the band has announced their first oneman live in Tokyo. It will take place on May 25th at Shimokitazawa MOSAIC. It will be held under the title 『DISCO TEXTURE』 and it seems that all attendants will get a DVD with PV from the consecutive release. First 150 people to come will get a special signed picture and they are planning to do some photography event as well in which you will be able to participate if you spend more than 5000 yen at their goods table. Anyway – tickets are 2000 yen in advance and 2500 yen at the door.
