Cu[be] has announced that, as of October 1st, they have joined UNDER CODE PRODUCTION!

For those who don’t know, Cu[be] is a relatively new band whose concept is “Glorious show” and who formed in December of 2009 by ex-chariots bassist 憂里 (Yuuri). They’ve already had two releases: a distributed CD on February 13th and a limited-release maxi single on July 2nd.

Guitar: 尚 (Nao) || ex-Shelley
Bass: 憂里 (Yuuri) || ex-chariots

The band’s first UNDER CODE release has already been announced: a maxi-single called Pandemic CORE, to be released on January 12th, 2011. To celebrate the release, they’ll sponsor an event, Radical Party VOL:2, on December 28th, 2010 at 名古屋 (Nagoya) HEART LAND.

Virgil’s re-start

Few months ago we reported that Virgil lost their 4 members, with only their vocalist ロア (Roa) left. Luckily, today he announced in his blog, that Virgil is re-starting their activities with new members, so the band’s line-up looks now as follows:
Vocal: ロア (Roa)
Guitar: 春樹 (Haruki)
Guitar: kei
Bass: 亜沙 (Asa) || ex. Drastic Mind [Support] → 恋 (Ren)→ Rozen-seed→ mercury lamp → LifeFull → Re：volver
Unfortunately there are no pics of the members available so far.
Their first live after restart is going to be a oneman performance. It will be held on December 12th at Ikebukuro BlackHole under the name 『暴れませう、御主人様』 (Abaremaseu, Goshujin Sama). Tickets cost 3000 yen in advance and 3500 yen at the door. What’s more – all attendants will get a live-distributed CD called 「御主人様の♪暴れませう」 (Goshujin Sama no ♪ Abaremaseu).
And finally – they’ll release a mini-album titled 「innocence」 on November 24th. It will go on sale for 2300 yen. More details, such as a tracklist, to follow.

New maxi-single for Administrator

Great news for all Administrator’s fans, it seems that the band will release a new maxi-single soon!
The release will be entitled 「Promise」 and will go on sale on December 8th in 2 types:

The band will also sponsor an event on December 11th. It will take place at Takadanobaba AREA under the name 『trident in the Ace act.4』. Other participating bands will be TOON-FACTORY, DragonWAPPPPPPER, Para:noir and NEXX. Tickets are 3000 yen in advance and 3500 yen at the door.

UNDER CODE’s countdown event with ClearVeil

UNDER CODE PRODUCTION has announced its new year countdown event, 関西制圧2010~2011 (Kansai Seiatsu 2010~2011). The event will take place from December 31st, 2010 to January 1st, 2011 at 大阪 (Osaka) amHALL. According to KISAKI, a few special bands will be appearing at the event, but only one has been announced so far:
ClearVeil will hold a one day revival at the event! Here’s the complete lineup so far:
凛 (Lin), PERESTROIKA, Megaromania, Dali, Arc, Synside, シンディケイト (CindyKate), Cu[be], Lycaon, Royz, Aigis, お遊戯ゎが魔々団×【PaRADEiS】, and Vallquar.
Additionally, ClearVeil will hold a one day revival, session band 妃&地下線オールスターズ (Kisaki & Chikasen ALLSTARS) will lead the countdown, and several spontaneous session bands will appear.
Isn’t it cool that ClearVeil’s coming back for a day? And what do you guys think the other special bands will be?
Valluna’s new single cancelled

ヴァルナ (Valluna) was set to release Gothic「A」doll, the second single of a two month release campaign, on October 20th. However, due to unspecified circumstances, the release of the single has been cancelled. Those who pre-ordered the single should contact the shop for refund details.
Since ヴァルナ (Valluna) is set to disband on November 27th, it seems that the previous single, Silent Prayer, will be their final release.

VizeL loses one

VizeL bassist ジン (Zin) has decided to leave the band as of September 28th. He cites personal circumstances and a general feeling of distance from the band as the reason for his departure. On the plus side, it seems that the band plans to continue without him.

As of September 12th, ZEST’s drummer つぅ (Tsuu) has left the band, due to him finding it difficult to continue with musical activity at this time. For now, it seems that the band will continue despite the setback, but we’ll update if that changes.

BERSERK disbands

It seems that, just a day after we posted about BERSERK losing all members except vocalist 挫苦炉 (Zakuro), he decided to dissolve the group rather than look for new members. So as of September 22nd, BERSERK is disbanded. Pretty sad, isn’t it?

Some news for ムック (MUCC) fans. First of all they have a totally new look:

Anyway, there is something really cool for MUCC fans though. YUKKE used to go to a school called 茨城県立小川高等学校体育館(Ibaraki-ken Ritsu Ogawakoutou Gakkou Taiikukan) and it seems that due to the significant decrease in number of enrolled students the school will be closed, which was announced 3 years ago. Since the school will soon be no longer, MUCC agreed to perform there. The live will take place on October 9th at the school and will be called 「さよなら小川高校、そしてありがとう」(Sayonara Ogawakoukou, Soshite Arigatou). The band even posted a short clip on their OHP about the live:
The live will cost 3000 yen and starts at 14:30. The live sounds cool, doesn’t it?

D’LORE’s name and lineup change

Back in June, we mentioned that D’LORE would be losing two members and gaining three new ones. It seems that, in addition to a new lineup, the band decided to restart with a new name: dolore. The band’s new lineup is as follows:

Guitar: 叶真 -TOWMA-
Bass: 玲於奈 -LEONA- || ex-ギズモ (Gizmo)

The band released its first single, 「REBORN」, on July 21st, and has already sponsored a few events. On October 5th and November 2nd, they’ll hold their next events, 「DIVINE REVOLUTION Vol.1」 and Vol.2, respectively, at Takadanobaba AREA.

News from XA-VAT

Not a long time ago I’ve mentioned that a rumour has been floating online about Kozi’s and Shuuji Ishii’s new band, called XA-VAT. It seems that this is fully confirmed now, the OHP has been slightly updated lately with more details.
First of all, the 4th member of the band is 小間貴雄 (Koma Takao), who used to be goatbed’s bassist, but more recently he was in a band called SITHA.
Member’s roles haven’t been revealed so far though, but there is another piece of amazing news. On the day of their first live, December 2nd, they’ll also be releasing their first CD! Unfortunately no more details are available so far about the CD.
As mentioned previously, the oneman on December 2nd will be held at Ebisu LIQUIDROOM. Tickets went on sale on September 25th and cost 5000 yen. It seems that with a ticket you’ll also get a special pamphlet.

Last live DVD from Canzel

Back in May we told about Canzel disbanding, but apparently we didn’t notice that they really did have one more live after those five mentioned. On August 2nd they performed at Akasaka BLITZ.
More recent news are that there will be a DVD of this oneman, coming out on December 8th! 「CANZEL LAST ONE MAN LIVE [FUTUERS] AT AKASAKA BLITZ」 live + document DVD will cost 5,250 yen and is limited to 1,500 copies.

THE KIDDIE releasing new album

After a really busy summer, THE KIDDIE will get even busier, because they’ve announced the release of a new full-album!
The album will be entitled 「BRAVE NEW WORLD」and will go on sale on November 24th in two types: Regular type will contain 12 tracks and cost 3000 yen, whilst the limited one will cost 3200 and will include 13 tracks and a PV. What is more – it will come in a special slip case and with a bonus booklet.

Hansel Kitan down one

ヘンゼル奇譚 (Hansel Kitan) is a band we have introduced not long ago and it seems that they’ve already lost one of their members. It’s their guitarist きゆ (Kiyu).
There is no official announcement per se on the site, they’re just stating the fact that he is leaving, are sorry for the sudden announcement and ask for continuous support.
What is more, the role of 鈴崎スゥ (Suzusaki Suu) is now described as “作者” (Sakusha; Author), however cryptic this may sound.

Amazing news for all カル・ヴァリ (Kalvary) fans!
The band is going to release a new single on November 3rd entitled 『Kirameki☆レインボー』(Kirameki☆Rainbow). It will cost 1575 yen and contain following tracks:
