Back in December, we posted about お遊戯ゎが魔々団×【PaRADEiS】 (Parade) releasing their first full album on April 28th called 「Col・Tempo」!
At that time only the title and date were available, but they have since updated their OHP with the tracklist and details. The album is coming out in two types, a limited press edition which is 3675 yen and comes with the ten track album plus a DVD with the 「Making of Col・Tempo」. The regular press is 3150 yen for the CD only.

New band – 2nd dyz

Time for introducing another new band, right? 2nd dyz officially started their activities in December last year but didn’t have a live until March 29th, which was only few days ago! They have stated that their concept is “SHADOW HOPE RAY”, I wonder what that means.
Anyway, let me introduce the members:

Miyavi is getting ready for his trip back to USA but before that, he seems to be hosting a cool contest to show off your guitar skills!
雅-MIYAVI- SAMURAI GUITAR PLAYING CONTEST
“NEO TOKYO SAMURAI BLACK WORLD TOUR vol.1” is currently available on DVD, and it documents the first half of 雅-Miyavi-’s three month world tour of 27 shows in 18 countries spanning Russia, Europe, South America, and Asia. In it you can bear witness to his mesmerizing guitar performances that have led many overseas to refer to him as the “Samurai Guitarist”, and this is your chance to copy and master his unique guitar techniques!
Simply select one of the videos of 雅-MIYAVI- playing (one of two categories; the Basic Course or the Master’s Course), and send in a video of yourself playing the same. We’re looking for precision and energy, so if you think you can rock as hard as, or even better than 雅-MIYAVI-, here is your chance to show it!
Your footage will be judged by a panel from GREAT HUNTING, EMI Music Japan’s talent scouting division.
The winner from each category will receive a handsome prize. Note that technical finesse will NOT be the only factor in deciding the winner, though it will be a prerequisite. There may even be a special “other” prize!?

Suicide Ali will be featured on the cover of the new Risknote that will be coming out in May. You can already preorder the issue at the label’s store over here. The magazine is only $15.00 and will include interviews with Kiwamu, LIX., THE SOUND BEE HD, the fool, DELUHI, Luzmelt, Calmando Qual and many more! The group also has a new look which is pretty much made of cool. Again – note the accessories are of Ryonai’s designs!

Virgil’s new single

I believe we haven’t mentioned it here yet, but Virgil will be releasing a new single on the 7th of April! Even though it’s only few days left to the release date I thought I should update you on it nevertheless, so:
The single will be entitled 「-Desert-」 and come in 2 types. The limited one will cost 1575 yen and be limited to 3000 copies, whilst the regular one will cost 1260 yen:

Serendipity disbands

As of March 28th, Serendipity have disbanded.
The following announcement was posted on Aqua’s Ameba:
It’s been about half a year since both Saku and I joined in the rebirth of Serendipity.
I was able to meet a lot of people, learn a lot of things… together with the other members there were lots of laughs, but we also had conflicts and tears.To the fans, staff, all of our sempai who have taken care of us, and the members,

Nightmare’s Nico Nico Show

ナイトメア (Nightmare) will be starting a regular live show broadcasted online through Nico Nico Live!
The show is called 「爆烈！ナイトメア」 (Bakuretsu! Nightmare) and the show’s concept is “doing your best”. The contents will feature of course, the members, however, they’re taking on the challenge of a “radio drama”. They’ve invited “wonderful” guests, and their drama is called 「ガンバル戦隊メアレンジャー」 (Ganbaru Sentai-mare Rangers).
Viewers will be able to comment on the show, giving the band and guests a chance to interact with those who are watching.
The show starts on April 8th at 11:00pm (Japan time) through http://live.nicovideo.jp.

Another appearance by a band in America this week! This time it is Aural Vampire, they are going to make a special appearance for the fashion show that will take place on April 2nd (around midnight) at Anime Matsuri.
2010 is a great year for Japanese fashion and Anime Matsuri is collaborating with Aural Vampire and amazing gothic lolita designer Atelier-Pierrot for the J-Fashion Show!
Starting at Midnight on Friday, the lights dim as the runway lights come on for Anime Matsuri’s J-Fashion, which leads into CLUB AM!Time: 12am

Regarding Shunsuke’s Passing

Thanks for Katii for the heads up.
A few days ago, we unfortunately updated with the news that former EllDorado and bis bassist, Shunsuke, had passed away. Many fans have been waiting to hear some sort of official announcement, and today, his personal blog was updated.
To all of the fans and staff who have been supporting Shunsuke,
On March 28th, Shunsuke passed away.
We have information to pass on to the fans and to all those who were connected to him and took care of him during his life. Due to his family’s wishes, the funeral service was open only to family members and close relatives. It was for that reason no notice was made until everything was over, and we do offer our apologies.
So that all of his fans and those connected to him through music can bid him “farewell”, we are planning a separate ceremony in Tokyo on May 3rd. (Details regarding the location will be posted here at a later date). Those of you who have the time, we hope that you can make it. (Casual clothing is acceptable).
For such a sudden announcement, and for taking so long to inform you, we apologize from the bottom of our heats.
Futhermore, we have a message that was left by Shunsuke for everyone.
To all those who I have hurt,
Everyone, thank you for everything. Thank you. For being concerned about me, and for always worrying about me, thank you.
I, who don’t have the strength to live, with all my might want to convey to you my feelings of gratitude. In any case, thank you. And, I’m sorry. For hurting you. We’ll meet again.

Secilia Luna’s Important Announcement

At their live on the 29th, Secilia Luna had a lot of important announcements for their fans. Fortunately, it was all good news and fans have lots to look forward to!
First off, on May 24th, the band will be having a one year anniversary event at Shinjuku Ruido K4!
On July 28th their 3rd maxi-single, which will be called 「Auroral Sky」 will be released. About a month later, they’ll be putting out their 1st mini-album, called 「Eternal Waltz」!
Finally, on August 23rd at Shibuya BOXX they’ll be having their 1st oneman live entitled 『Solidify the Angelianity ～天使教革命～』 (Tenshi Kyoukakumei)!
Details on everything will be available as the occasion calls, and will be updated on their OHP. You can be sure that we’ll keep you updated on their upcoming releases!
Don’t forget the band released their newest single, 「False Scene」 today (March 31st)!

SID’s New Single

Great news for SID (シド) fans! They will be releasing a new single on the 2nd June 2010, and along with this their official site has been updated with a new profile photo.
The single is called 「レイン」 (Rain), and there will be 3 types of releases – the regular edition costing 1,250 yen, and two types of first press editions, ‘A’ and ‘B’, costing 1,700 yen. The regular edition includes a CD of the single track with 2 other tracks, whereas the 2 types of first press editions also includes a DVD. The DVD is footage from their ‘Male audience only LIVE Version A’ or ‘Version B’ which they performed at Shinjuku LOFT on the 4th March.
The single is going to be used as the opening song for the Anime 「FULLMETAL ALCHEMIST」 as of 4th April 2010, this also being SID’s second collaboration with the anime.
