a-translation-of-takumis-comment

As we posted about here, Celestial Garden has announced that their bassist Takumi will be leaving the band. Takumi posted the following comment regarding his decision on the Planet CHILD Music OHP:

Although this is an unexpected announcement, I, Takumi, will be leaving Celestial Garden after our live on November 18th.

I think that for some time, we’ve been faced with varying degrees of commitment between the members when it comes to live activities, our visual style, and the band activities as a whole. We’ve been faced with many troubles, and day after day I’ve been strongly questioning whether being in the band is beneficial to Celestial Garden, or myself.

Nevertheless, I thought that I would continue, but being a high school student, it’s too much trouble, and as it is I feel that I am causing a hindrance to the band, so I have come to the conclusion to leave.

I have sprinted with all my might for this past year, without a second’s thought. It’s not easy to balance studies and being in a band, and I still like being part of a band, and of course I still like visual kei like nothing else. Right now both my mental and physical strength is worn out, so I will rest for a bit, and I want to try re-examining how I look at my music and my studies.

While I was deciding whether or not to leave, it was honestly difficult when I was told by the fans things like, “I’ll continue to support you!” and “You were really cool!”.

Part of me wants to be comforted by saying “I’ll leave the band soon, and I’ll fade out”, but I hate myself for turning my back on the fans who are cheering me on.

I only have a few lives left with Celestial Garden, but some day I will definitely return to the visual scene. I’m not sure if it’ll be tomorrow, or if it’ll be in one month, or even one year, but I promise that I will without fail return.

To all the fans that have been supporting me, to MAR, the staff, all my label-mates, those connected to the band, and to the members, I truly thank you.

From hereon, please continue to support Celestial Garden.

hajime-graudates-from-tokyo-shitei

The members of 東京指定 (Tokyo Shitei) have posted the following announcement on their OHP:

Thank you for continuously supporting Tokyo Shitei.
On this occasion, we have an important announcement from all the members of the band.

Since June, our drummer hajime has been been in poor physical health and has taken a break from the band, and now as of September 30th he has graduated from Tokyo Shitei.

He has recovered from his condition, however, his physical and mental strength at this time are making him unable to continue in the band.

All of the members were eagerly waiting for hajime to make a full comeback, but using our judgement and not wanting to worry the fans or those concerned with the band, as a result of conversations with both hajime and his parents, and with respect for hajime’s opinions, it has been decided that he is not leaving the band, but instead graduating.

To the fans who were anxiously waiting for hajime’s return, and to all those connected to the band, we apologize for troubling you. To all the nas, we are deeply sorry.

Now Tokyo Shitei is four, but the remaining members will join forces, we will unite with hajime’s part, and will continue with our future activities with all our might. Therefore, we hope that you can understand and will continue to support us.

the-vambie-temporarily-down-one

Thanks to Kiri for asking us to check this out! The members of the Vambie. have all posted the following announcements on their blogs:

Thank you for continuously supporting the Vambie..
We have an announcement about our performance that is scheduled to take place today at Takadanobaba PHASE.

Today, our bassist Taku was hurriedly hospitalized due to acute gastroenteritis (aka the stomach flu), and therefore it is currently difficult for him to perform.

We are sorry for all those who have planned to attend the live, but we will be performing today with the remaining four members. We hope that you can understand.

We feel truly sorry, and currently, the details on Taku’s return to the band are not yet decided. Please be understanding to our current situation. We apologize to those who have planned to come for the trouble.

Please continue to support the Vambie.

The band’s vocalist, Sally, also mentioned a few other things in his blog.
He wrote that they were originally worried they would have to cancel, but felt that if they did, it would make Taku more upset.

At the live, their guitarist, Saya, took over Taku’s bass part, and was hurriedly practicing before they want on stage. Sally also thanks the few fans who were crying on Taku’s behalf, and says that the members all went to visit him after they were finished.

When they visited, Taku wasn’t really able to speak much because it was late at night, so they hopefully will return again today. Taku should be out of the hospital in a few days, and said he wanted to perform at their live on the 1st. However, the members feel that he should instead take some time to rest instead of pushing himself, but because they don’t want to say this to Taku, they hope the fans can tell him.

At this time they are unsure if he will be playing with them on the 1st, but the band hopes you can support them either way.

more-info-on-dir-en-greys-new-single

Back here, we talked about the release of Dir en grey’s new single, 「激しさと、この胸の中で絡み付いた灼熱の闇」 (Hageshisa to, Kono Mune no Naka de Karamitsuita Shakunetsu no Yami).

At that time, not many details were available, but here they are!
It’s comng out in two types, a limited first press edition which costs 1890 yen and contains a PV, as well as a regular edition for 1260 yen which is the CD only.

The tracklist is as follows:

screw-member-comments

I’m sure that there are a lot of SCREW fans who would like to know more about Yuuto’s decision. Each member has posted a comment on the OHP regarding the news and the future of the band.

Please do not post this translation elsewhere without express permission.

Yuuto

I’m sorry for the unexpected and surprising announcement.
I have decided that I will be leaving SCREW.
The reasons behind my decision are musical differences, and also because there is a gap between the band’s direction, and my own.
I discussed it with the members numerous times, but for the sake of both SCREW and myself, this is the solution that we have decided on.
To all the fans that have been supporting me, and to all those connected to the band that I’m indebted to, I can’t put into words how truly, truly grateful I am.
I’m sorry that things came to this, and I’m sorry for causing you to feel disappointed.
Being absorbed with playing the bass in SCREW, I’ve made a lot of memories which have become a great part of my life. With this force, I will continue to move forward.
I also feel that SCREW will continue to progress even more than we are now.
Even though we are going down different paths, we will each be doing our best down those respective roads, and therefore I will be happy if the fans will continue to support us.
For everything thus far, I truly thank you.

Byou

I’m sorry for causing confusion with the abrupt announcement.
It’s not something that came about instantly, but after thinking, and thinking and thinking, this is the solution that we have arrived at.
It’s not that disbanding didn’t cross my mind, however, I feel that for all the fans who encourage us, and for all the people that support us, and most of all for myself personally, SCREW is not yet over.
I want to enjoy the few lives we have left with the five of us as best we can.
This is not something negative, but instead is us facing-foward, so I want you to keep watching warmly over us.
Finally, thank you for always supporting SCREW.

Kazuki

As mentioned on our HP, Yuuto has decided to leave SCREW.
I’m sure there are those who feel confused, unhappy and have lost trust in us with this abrupt announcement.
It’s not something that’s simple to accept, but we feel that for the sake of all of us truly advancing, this is the path we must take.
The time that the five of us have spent together in SCREW, is a fortune that money can’t buy, and honestly, I have grown from it.
Even though we will be taking different paths, our feelings on our progress this far is the same.
For that reason, until it’s the end of the five of us in SCREW, and also as we go down different paths, please continue to support us.

Manabu

I’m truly sorry for the sudden announcement.
I’ve been in the band believing that SCREW is SCREW with all five of us.
Therefore, at the beginning, I couldn’t accept that Yuuto was going to leave, and I felt like I would give just about anything (to have him stay). However, However, I’ve come to realize that I have a new respect for the future of this important friend in which we’ve taken care of each other, and shared in both happiness and sorrow.
Thinking about how all the fans who support us must feel, is very painful. This decision, according to both Yuuto and SCREW, is something that we think is positive and constructive.
And with this as our answer, SCREW has made a fresh decision to push forward.
I hope that all of our fans can understand. Somehow or another, I want you to believe in us.

Jin

Since SCREW’s formation, my friend Yuuto, who I have supported and been supported by, who I’ve laughed with, made songs and performed lives with, has decided to leave the band.
When I said friend, I meant family.
Yuuto leaving is a result of many discussions with the members, and the biggest reasons are musical differences in SCREW’s future direction, and differences in opinions. Of course it’s not something that you can feel simply about.
I think that all of the fans have been very, very shocked. I think that it’s hard for you to immediately understand it. And there has been some discourtesy as well, but this decision is because of the friendship between Yuuto and the four of us.
In reality, it’s hard to accept, but honestly we’ve decided to face this with a positive attitude, and I hope that you can continue to support both Yuuto and SCREW.
As far as Yuuto’s last days in SCREW go, please watch him until the very end. SCREW will continue to be an important part of both the fans lives, and Yuuto’s life.
Yuuchan, for everything, honestly and truly, thank you.

screw-loses-yuuto

SCREW has posted the following announcement on their OHP:

To all the fans who have been supporting SCREW,

We truly thank you for always supporting SCREW. The members have an important announcement for everyone.
Even though he’s been our bassist since the beginning of our activities, Yuuto will be leaving the band on December 31st, 2009.

We had countless discussions regarding his decision, and in the end this was the result that was reached. We deeply apologize to all of our fans.

However, after his departure both SCREW and Yuuto will be walking down fresh paths, and with that conclusion, we won’t be looking back. The five of us feel that this is a positive solution, so we hope that you can understand.

There are only a few lives remaining with Yuuto as part of the band, but we hope that you can cheer the five of us on until the very end.
