Its so cute to see bandmen(women) listing who their influences are. Kenichi lists that his favorite artists are MUCC, Malice Mizer and that his most respected person is Gackt!

Sounds like his inner fanboy to old school groups is shining through! I should send him some of Yanni’s works. Just saying, everyone could use alittle Yanni.

vj-3-halloween-party-1st

You know how on most band OHP’s they have the option to go into the PC OHP or the OHP set up for mobile devices? There have been countless times I have accidentally hit the mobile OHP but today I did it on purpose and stumbled upon something great!

It’s a live titled VJ-3 HALLOWEEN PARTY 1st and will be held at none-other than HEAVEN’S ROCKさいたま新都心VJ-3 [HEAVEN'S ROCK Saitama Shintoshin VJ-3], hence the VJ-3 in the title. The line up includes Duel Jewel, everset, the Underneath and lynch. Tickets will cost 3800 yen in advance and 4300 the day of, going on sale September 13th. Interestingly enough however, the live date is set for October 30th, not Halloween day!

Oh, and in case you were wondering whose OHP it was, it was lynch. They now have a mobile site set up!!

Ba. – 智希 (Tomoki) ex-Limit-0- [blog]

Another interesting fact is that the band has not yet revealed what they look like all together, so it will definitely be a treat for those who are able to watch their debut September 3rd!

wtf-moment

So, I was just browsing through some OHPs that I had bookmarked on my computer, and came across this:

http://www.schmelzcure.com/m/index.html

If for some reason you can’t see it, or they’ve changed it, you can click here for a screen snapshot. And then picture the text scrolling.

Feels like something out of those creepy internet stalker horror movies (of which I’ve never seen, but am assuming exist).

news-from-vallquar

Vallquar has been really busy since their formation back in March. After a first one-man on July 28th, during which they’ve also sold their very first maxi-single, the band band will sponsor an event on October 22nd at Shinsaibashi Fan-J Twice (Osaka), along with bands such as : Scarlett / WHITEBLACK / ミサルカ (Misaruka) / Larme d’ange / Ridiot etc…

On this precise day, the band will also be releasing their very first mini-album, entitled 「forbidden art mythologyⅡ」! They haven’t posted more details on that new release, but we’ll keep you informed. But anyway, it seems that it will only be available at their live, like it was already the case for their first maxi-single.

Other than that, the band will also have its second one-man live on December 22nd at Shibuya CHELSEA HOTEL ! People who will attend this one-man called 「Neo Genesis of Mythology」 will also get a free CD and a free DVD.
To go with all those news, Vallquar also recently got a new look. Sounds like everything’s going smoothly for them !

hear-loses-misa

HEAR has announced their live on September 20th at Esaka MUSE will be bassist Misa’s last live with the band. The band plans to carry out the rest of their schedule as planned.

Misa says that his reasons for leaving the band are due to his job becoming busy, which makes it difficult for him to set aside tme for the band. The members told him that it was okay for him to be in the band when he has the time for it, but after much thought, Misa feels that this is the best decision.

He is unsure whether or not he will be returning to the scene, but thanks everyone for all the support they have shown him.

Antic Cafe have announced that after their performance on January 4th at Nippon Budoukan, they will be going on an activity pause.

They have said that the five members had numerous discussions about it, and decided that this is currently the best option and necessary for both the members and staff to fulfill their desire to “step up”.

After the Nippon Budoukan live, the members will continue to individually pursue their own activities, and work towards the day when Antic Cafe can make their return.

random-fact-of-the-day

Today’s random fact is pretty cool, and it’s about Yomi from Nightmare!

Yomi had a pretty interesting experience. One time, he forgot to pay his utility bill, and so the company retaliated by turning off his water! However, our poor vocalist didn’t realize until he went to take a bath that no water was coming out. In dire need to bathe, he decided to make do with what he had – mineral water.

That’s right. Living the high life (with his water turned off), Yomi bathed in mineral water. Just like a celebrity.

That’s definitely the life right there. It’s my dream to be able to bathe in mineral water every day.
