Lets see, when Miyavi came to Houston he got a chance to show off some of his English skills. He actually was able to understand a few questions and reply back! One funny question went something like this:

At their live on June 29th, ACTWEED announced the addition of a 5th member! They have gained a second guitarist named Izumi. No official picture or blog is available for him yet, but we’ll keep you posted!

As we wrote about here, until Moran’s oneman tour in August, bassist Zill will be concentrating on getting well again, and in his place Moran will have a support bassist. They announced that for their next three lives (July 5th, 6th, and 12th), Haku (ex-BABYLON) will be supporting them. Past this, there has been no announcement, but we’ll continue to update you as news comes along.

As of a few minutes ago, Para:noir, who we mentioned here, opened their official homepage to the public! Along with this comes a slew of announcements! First off being that on August 28th, they will hold their first sponsored event at Takadanobaba AREA called 『Gott ist tot vol.1』That same day, they will release a DVD, Merciless sorrow, containing the PV of that song. In fact, you can already preview the PV on their OHP! Unfortunately, the DVD will only be sold at that live. The cost will be 1000 yen.
According to their live schedule, they will start live activity on August 2nd with a secret live somewhere in the Tokyo area, followed by two demonstration lives before the big sponsored event.
They’re definitely a band to look forward to!

Back here we mentioned that the session band Moeru Konayuki would begin live activities again with the end of their second stage and enter their third stage. After their revival live on June 11th, guitarist SADY was the only one to remain and has moved to vocals and will lead the third stage of Moecona a bit differently. Instead of a set line up of members, the members will change now and then or from live to live. So far they have three lives scheduled and the members for those lives will be the following:

Great news for ゾロ (Zoro) fans!
The band has announced that on September 9th they will be releasing a full album!
The fine details aren’t set yet, however, it will be coming out in two types. The first press edition which contains the album and a DVD for 3675 yen, and the regular edition which is the album only for 3150 yen.

You all know this week’s routine is about introducing new bands, so here are two very interesting bands :
華音 (Kanon)

You’ll think I only introduce bands from Osaka, but it’s nothing but a coincidence ! It may be hard to believe that 華音 (Kanon) formed only about 4 months ago in March, as they already look like a very solid band, not really like an obscure indie band. But the band is indeed 5 months old ! So far, they’ve been playing about once or twice every month, which is not that much but they’re just starting up. On July 23rd, they’ll be part of a nice event along with GRiST, LiCKER and Venus.
As for the CDs, the band has already distributed one, on May 7th, entitled 「未ダ空ハ晴レズ。」(Imada Sora wa Harezu.). Let’s hope we’ll have a chance to listen to them in the near future, cuz they just look badass !

Another very young band ! And this time, they’re hailing from quite an unusual place for a VK band : Sapporo ! The band had its very fist live on April 20th at Sapporo KRAPS HALL. And not even one week later, they sponsored their first event, at Sapporo MESSE HALL ! Quite a nice start, right ?
They’re now trying to perform more and more and they take advantage of being one of the rare VK bands from their city to take part in some big events that could help them gaining popularity. For example, throughout the whole month of July, they will perform with bands such as : 愛狂います。(Aicle), Ap(r)il, アンド (And), SuG, DaizyStripper, SCREW, イロクイ (Irokui), vistlip, or even SINCREA !
They’ll aslo have their second sponsored event on August 10th (向日葵Chainsaw – Himawari Chainsaw).
And last but not least, the band will also release its first CD in September ! So keep an eye on them !

DIO has announced that for a limited time (from now until the end of August), they will be selling their live only CD, 「Coma Gold」 via mail order through their official site.
As the band explains on their OHP, 「Coma Gold」 was released during their oneman tour, but came in four varieties of jackets, depending on the livehouse it was sold at. There are also two variations on the song itself.

2. Osaka Version Jacket + Song B
3. Sendai Version Jacket + Song A
4. Tokyo Version Jacket + Song B

As we mentioned before, on July 22nd DIS★Marionette are releasing a new single. However, this won’t be their only release of the summer!
Making a two month consecutive release, the band will be putting out a new single called 「897/13＝xx」 on August 26th.
The single will contain brand new music that hasn’t even yet been performed at lives, and will cost 1260 yen.

We posted back here about Antic Cafe’s new singles, and also mentioned how they were going to release a new album in September.
Well, there aren’t too many details available quite yet, but the album is set to come out on September 9th. It’s coming out in two versions; a first press edition that will include a DVD with a music video, and the regular press edition.
