Wedday fans might be interested in knowing that Fantastic~sama (vocalist Mako’s female demon persona&vocalist of Sider) has taken over Wedday’s OHP for the time being. After Wedday’s live on April 11th at Sendai BIRD LAND, there are three Sider sponsored events. The first taking place at Koriyama #9 on April 27th, second at Akita Club SWINDLE on April 28th, and then Sendai HooK on April 30th. No information on who will participate in Sider’s session lineups as of yet, but we will keep you posted!

Jin-Machine down one

Elizabeth oshin, guitarist of Jin-Machine, has announced he will be withdrawing from the band on March 3rd. He stated that it was a result of many worries, and while he wants to continue in music, right now he can’t afford to keep going. He’s uncertain if he’ll be able to continue in the future, but will if he can.

御主人様専用奇才楽団 -Virgil- (Goshujinsama Senyou Kisai Gakudan), a new band that we mentioned previously, will be having their first live on May 1st at Shibuya BOXX. They will also be releasing their first single on April 22nd titled 「broke stone awake sevendays」. There will be two types, A and B, and both will cost 1,575yen and are limited to 1,000 copies.
Here are the tracklisting for both types:

Minerva disbands

Minerva has announced that on March 31st, they will be disbanding.
The band admits that since their vocalist left last year, they have had a hard time finding someone to replace him, and realize that Minerva isn’t the same without him.
They apologize to all the fans for their decision, but hope that everyone can understand.

First maxi-single for Gilltia !

Good news for the fans, after they recently distributed “Escape from the Cage” through internet, ギルティア (Gilltia) has just announced they would also release their first maxi-single !
「CLOWN」 will be released on April 5th with the following tracklist :
- CLOWN
- Desert me
Limited to a thousand copies, the maxi will also include a DVD, which content is still unknow, it could be a PV for “CLOWN” as well as a live footage… as for the price, it’s set to cost 1700 yen.

First maxi-single for ANOTHER DIMENSION

Thanks to ed47a for sharing the information !
If there’s one thing we could say, it’s that they really took their time to release this first maxi-single : almost 3 years !
So far, ANOTHER DIMENSION has distributed 3 singles, one mini-album (in October 2007) and a live DVD (in August 2008), but they finally decided to release their first single as it was expected since they’ve updated their OHP with a new look ! Entitled 『朽チ果テ逝クコノ世界 C/W 温もりの涙』 (Kyuuchi Hate Sei Kuko no Sekai C / W Nukumori no Namida)
Officially set to be released on June 6th, the CD will actually be sold during their live performances from May 20th !
And here is their latest look, they’ve really changed a lot from the time Adrienne introduced them !

Chrome Shelled will be releasing their second single 「愛のツェルニ」/ai no TSUERUNI on 4.1.2009
To celebrate the event they’re having a commemorative instore event at Laforet Harajuku!

# Participation method: Reserve your copy of Chrome Shelled’s second single at LikeanEdison.com in Laforet Harajuku, make an advanced payment of the full amount of the single, and receive the ticket as a present!
Also, the participants will receive a limited replacement CD jacket with the members’ photograph. The autographs will be made on the limited jacket.

All participants will be able to participate in what they’re calling “UNDERGROUND Spring Festival” in which if you spend 3000円 at any of the shops on B1.5 floor or Algonquins, Super Lovers, Like an Edison on B1 floor then you’ll be presented with a one of a kind Chrome Shelled polaroid!

Hey guys, random fact of the day time. Today we’re going to be talking about inspiration for song writing. When asked what sort of themes are written for his lyrics, ROOM#NUMBER’s Ichiro responded:
I like lyrics where the scene floats. Lyrics like the picture of Salvador Dali are good if it says more. As for my song called JUNO, it is expressed well. I like surrealism.
surrealism huh? If I wrote songs (well, I secretly already do, but shh) my inspiration would be cheese puffs. There’s so much to write about them! So what kinds of things or people inspire you to do…just about anything?

Black:List says Thank You

The members of the now disbanded Black:List all wrote in their blogs saying that their old homepage and myspace will officially close tomorrow. Each member said goodbye in their own way but mainly that they thank fans and even though each member will go their own paths that to please continue to support their futures. Tomozo posted the new link to his blog (which we’ve mentioned here) and says that he isn’t sure if he’ll continue with musical activities. ;———–;

It’s that time again! Time for the random fact of the day, and today we’re going to talk about Shiki from Order in Disorder’s strong points and weak points.
His strong points are that he’s systematic, and never gives up.
His weak points, are that he’s cruel, inhuman, and ‘late for his own funeral’ (he’s always late).

New drummer for Toon Factory

Toon Factory has announced that they have a new drummer!
His name is ゆーいち (Yuichi), and he was was formerly in G.OZ.VII, Vjani, Animeland, Key and up until a few days ago had been doing support for AibeLL.
They also mentioned that they have new costumes, so that’s something to look forward to seeing.

The second type [Auditory Impression] of the GazettE’s new single, 「DISTRESS AND COMA」, which is coming out on March 25th has a third track called 「WITHOUT A TRACE」.
As it turns out, that track will be used as the ending song for the upcoming movie, 「ハードリベンジ、ミリー ブラッディバトル」 (Hard Revenge, Milly Bloody Battle) that will be released in Japan this summer!

New bassist for Anetto

A few weeks ago, we announced that Anetto had lost their bassist, Yuuyan.
Well good news for the band! They have been able to the empty spot, with their new bassist, 真裟 (Masa). Masa had actually been their support bassist for their lives on February 23rd and 24th, and on the 27th became an official member.
The band plans to make a fresh start, and formally begin with their new activities.

Shinya’s drama debut

LUNA SEA’s drummer Shinya has recently made his drama debut, and appeared in the BS-i drama, 「東京少女やさしい拳」 (Tokyo Shoujo Yasashii Kobushi).
The story features a homeless junior high student, and Shinya plays a divorced salary man separated from his children, who has a reunion with them.
The show will air on February 28th at 11pm.

Since1889′s new single

Since1889 will be releasing a new single on May 13th called “ENEMY”.
The single is coming out in two types; A Type which is three tracks plus a DVD that contains live footage for 1890 yen, and B Type which is the three track single only, for 1260 yen.

More on Ayabie’s major debut single

A couple of weeks ago we posted about how Ayabie was going to be releasing their major debut single on May 27th. Well, more information about that new single has been released!
The tentative title for the single is 「きら星」 (Kiraboshi) and it’s coming out in three types.
The first press edition costs 1890 yen, and comes with the CD (the title track plus a second), and a DVD that contains a PV, off-shot footage plus comments from the members.
The regular edition, type A comes with the same two tracks as the first press edition, plus bonus track “A”. Regular edition type B, also has the two tracks, but instead comes with a bonus track “B”. Both of these types cost 1260 yen and come with one of three random photo cards.
Each release will have a serial number enclosed. If you register two or more of these numbers, you will get a special privilege. They will also be drawing names (from those that enter) of people to receive a phone call from the members.

Yukiya’s solo performance

幸也 (Yukiya), vocalist of Kαin and THE JEAN, will be having a midnight solo performance on March 14th at Shinjuku Loft!
While the main act is Yukiya, it does say that there will be a guest performance as well. The event opens at 11:30pm and starts at midnight.
There are premium seats, which are limited to 100 people and cost 5000 yen. Those with the premium tickets also get a special White Day present, and a “Yukiya produced drink”.
Regular tickets cost 3000 yen and go on sale March 1st.
