Its that time again, time for the random fact of the day. Today’s random fact revolves around Waka of Danger☆Gang. Why does it revolve around her? Well its pretty simple really…I love her. Yes Mija, you now have some competition. Don’t fear my raven haired beauty, you can still win. Anyways…random fact(s):
Waka is her real name.
She likes movies, painting, searching for ROCK things.
She has a permit to drive a medium sized motorcycle.

Heisei Ishin’s mini-album

So before, we talked about the event on January 17th and 18th that Heisei Ishin is participating in; Heisei Ishin vs Anjyu’.
Well, the event, as we stated before, also marked the release of their new CD and now more details about that release are available!
It’s their first mini album called 「MODS」 and it’s coming out on January 21st in two types. The tracklist has not yet been released, but the album will contain a total of five tracks.
The A type which costs 3150 yen, comes with a DVD that contains 「LOST WORLD」 from their live on September 20th at HOLIDAY OSAKA and スイミー (Suimii) from their performance on October 5th.
TypeB is 2675yen and contains a bonus track called 「good morning HUMAN」.
The boys are also undergoing a costume change, and have therefore been doing some photoshoots. It’s not a large photo, but check out their new style:

Youka leaves Burea

This is a bit late, but back on October 12th, Youka announced that he had decided to leave Burea. It was a sudden announcement, and he apologized for any confusion that it may have caused, and he hopes that fans can continue to support both him and the band. He will, however, finish out the lives that they currently have planned.
Rara posted about it as well, saying that Youka pretty much decided it on his own.

Okay, so here’s what I think should happen. Yuuri (who’s leaving chariots) should join Burea (we’ll ignore the fact that they’re out a guitarist and not a bassist). Rara and Yuuri used to be in Jaguar together, and often posted about how they spent time together outside of the band. Rara also recently posted about talking to Yuuri, and they seemed to work so great together…. so it would definitely be great to see that again.

Kousei, formerly of GHOST, announced that he has a new band. The name of the band is Drop Star Shooting. So far none of the other members have been announced but they do have an OHP. You can find it by clicking the following link:
The also will be having a sponsoring event on December 26th at Takadanobaba AREA called 「thrill and cutter vol.0」. The guests include Cellt, Jewel, hydra, the Vambie., Brother and a session band called Safety Drugger. The members of that session are as follows (one of the guitarist for the event has yet to be announced):

Bands Shock DVD Vol. 7

Bands Shock DVD Vol. 7 is coming out on November 26th!
This time around they’re bringing back the band bowling, and having a face off between 新興宗教楽団NoGoD (Shinkoushuukyou Gakudan NoGod) and SEX ANDRIOD. There’s footage from the making of both ネガ (Nega) and PureQ&A PVs, a pick-up live corner featuring ドレミ團 (Doremidan)’s performance on September 27th at O-EAST plus a comment from えんそく (Ensoku).
宇宙戦隊NOIZ (Uchuu Sentai NOIZ), ビリー (Billy) and ALiBi will also be featured.
The DVD costs 2890 yen.

Kuroyume’s last live

Back in 1999, Kuroyume went on an activity pause. However, on January 29th the band will be having a one night revival live which will also be their final performance as they are also officially disbanding.
The live is appropriately titled, 「“the end” ～CORKSCREW A GO GO! FINAL～」 and takes place at Nihon Budoukan. Tickets cost 10000 yen, or 8500 yen for fan club members.

All day I’ve been translating blogs for screwblogs @ LJ, and when I think about it, I’m only 4 days behind, right? Somehow Yuuto makes 15-20 posts per day. So when I started I was about 57 posts behind. This story gets better though.
Eventually I start to notice that as I continue to translate his entries, I don’t seem to be making any progress at all. Good old spam-a-holic Yuuto is updating at the same rate I’m translating. It makes me want to give up.
But! This is the real SWL content. Everyone who comments and thanks me for translating helps me. They are what keep me going. Without you I would have quit already. And on that note, I have about 37 left.

Today the Oni-Con website announced there WILL be a band attending the event. But who? Seems we’ll have to wait bit longer to find out! Expect the band to be revealed by next week…just a heads up.
Which band do you guys think/want it to be? I can’t make any guesses, I have no idea whatsoever who it could be… O_o;

BUCK-TICK’s new release

BUCK-TICK is coming out with a new single called Galaxy on January 14th of next year. The single will contain two songs GALAXY and セレナーデ -愛しのアンブレラ- [Serenade -Itoshi no Anburera-]
The first press will have a CD+DVD set with the PV.

VAMPS DVD release

VAMPS will be releasing their first live DVD since their formation. It will be released on January 7th next year. It will contain footage from their October 28th live at ZEPP TOKYO as well as off shot footage.
They’ve also decided they are going to release a 2nd single in the spring of next year.

Okay, so there aren’t many details…
But I know that there are a lot of people (especially Mija~) who have been waiting to hear this piece of news.
At the beginning of next year, boogieman will be releasing their first CD.
More details when they become available, but it’s definitely something to look forward to! They’re just piling it all on at once eh? Not long ago the revealed their costumes and now they’re releasing!
