This one’s for all you movie lovers out there. The vocalist of Sito Magnus, Sybila, states that his favorite movie is Francis Ford Coppola’s version of Bram Stoker’s Dracula.
Any one seen that? IMDB is an amazing thing. I love horror films, but what I absolutely can’t live without is a good zombie movie.

Since there was a comment asking about how to make an ameba blog I decided to make a tutorial. There aren’t any pictures or anything, but I think I made it pretty simple. And since many band guys have ameblogs it could be useful for you to keep track of everyone’s updated entries if you had one of your own, right? So let’s do it!
176BIZ 2nd Full Album.

On August 27th, 176BIZ (pronounced biz ichi nana roku [/lulz]) is releasing their second full album. The title is undecided so far, but the release date is set. The first press is a CD + DVD set with 10 songs, a PV, and an off shot. On the regular press there will be 10 songs plus two bonus songs. The album will be sold at 3675yen for the first press, and 3150yen for the regular edition.

VAMPS, that project with Hyde and K.A.Z., are teaming up with TSUTAYA records and they will start selling beach towels. These towels are designed by DJ Dragon and incorporate the lyrics of the group’s first single “LOVE ADDICT.” They’re black with white writing and are priced at 4500yen.

Each month the cover artist of SHOXX will be giving a special prize to a lucky American. For an example – this month’s cover of SHOXX is Alice Nine, the Jrockhouse site indicates that the drawing prize is an Alice Nine poster! Remember each month a new cover artist and a new prize from the band – prizes seem to be very rare and very cool! Read here for more info on the drawing. The site also started offering English tranlations to interviews featured on the SHOXX magazines. So far they have a good amount of translations – read them here.

Kikasa (ex Due le Quartz, Shelly Trip Realize, [FIGURE:] recently posted in his blog about his health, specifically his diet. Yes, it seems he is on a diet. This is what he said about it.

Recently, for the sake of my diet I’ve decided to start jogging.
Originally I hated running. I used to alway think “I want to run!” but because I was a smoker every time I go to run I felt like I was dying.
So if I can go 5 days without smoking, I will run!

Canzel will be releasing their 2nd Maxi Single on 7/19/2008! The title of the release will be Next SEASONS E.P. This release will be limited to 500, contain two songs, and cost around 1,200yen.

There’s a new CD coming out on July 30th called 「Visualy[zm] The Cure Century」. It will cost 3500 yen and contain a total of 22 tracks! Bands listed as being featured are Phantasmagoria, ClearVeil and Megaromania.
I can’t find any other details about the CD at the moment, so if you have any let us know! The sales agency listed for the album is Century, so it looks like it’ll be a collection of various bands — not only those on UNDER CODE.

Fish Dance Hour guests

As many fans know, Seek from Mix Speaker’s,Inc. has his own show on LIVECAST.jp called Fish Dance Hour that airs every other Thursday, from 9:00pm until 10:00pm.
On June 12th, on his show Seek is featuring three very interesting artists. Sou from Lolita 23q, aie from the studs, and Soan from Moran.
Sounds like it’s going to be an interesting talk session this time around! So make sure you check it out.

Back in October of 2007 MASASHI, yu/shi and syo formed BarKiraca and performed their first live with just the three of them. Not long after, in January Syo left the band.
But never fear, they are now a four member band with a steady support drummer on hand!
The members are:
Vocals – 朔 (Saku)
Vocals & Guitar – MASASHI
Guitar – yu/shi
Bass – AKIRA
Support Drums – SAW
The band says that they’re a five member mixture pop band from Osaka, but lately they’ve also been doing activities around Nagoya and Tokyo.
There’s new news on any releases as of yet, and the disography section on their OHP is blank, but hopefully we’ll be able to hear something from them soon!
Now here’s an added… ‘specialness’ for the band. Click on the member’s photos to see the pictures they have posted of themselves on the OHP.
I think you might be in for an odd surprise.

The session band, キテる！BAND, (Kiteru! BAND) is releasing their 1st maxi single this summer called “FROM 1st”. It comes out on July 2nd, costs 2100 yen and will contain five tracks:

In case you’ve forgotten, Kiteru! BAND is a session band consisting of the following members:

Bass – 殊 (Koto) – ex.Sugar

The band released a mini-album back on April 20th. For their new single, all the lyrics have been written by Sora, all the songs composed by Michiru and everything has been arranged by Wataru.

Sorry this is a few days late, but Anetto has announced they will be releasing their third maxi single on June third titled 「[MAGENTA]delusion.」 that will cost 1000 yen and contain three tracks.

The only downside, is that this single will be available at livehouses only.
