Since1889 has “lifted the ban” and announced two pieces of pretty spiffy news!
The first, is that the band will be putting out a new maxi single on June 4th called DIABOLOS. There aren’t any details of a tracklist, but the single will cost 1575 yen.
The second piece of news, which is pretty exciting, is that they will be joining Sequence Records (which currently hosts artists like exist†trace, Art Cube, Venus, LSD and 殺~KOЯO~). Starting… well, March 1st. So, today in Japan.

Everyone loves hearing about a new band, right?
Well this one just got started!
They just had their first live on February 26th, opened their OHP on February 18th announced their formation just earlier this month. The band’s name is Cloche, and it is currently a four member band. Admittedly, I think they look pretty cool. Especially for a band who just started.

The members are:
Vocals - 桜 -sakura – (ex-Die La’vice’s 壱-Hajime-)
Guitar - 黎 (Rei) (ex-ZION)
Bass - とわ (Towa) (ex-ZION)
Drums - rio (ex-ZION)
Even cooler, is that they’ve already released their first single!
The single came out … today, on February 29th and costs 1000 yen.
The single title is 「蒼い鳥」 (Aoi Tori) and the single contains two tracks — the title track, plus dirge. For both songs the lyrics were written by 桜-sakura- and the music by Cloche as a whole. A stick of the band also comes with the CD.
They actually put a sample up for download on their website, so everyone can check it out!
I’ve uploaded it here, so you can hear it right on S-T.net.
Audio clip: Adobe Flash Player (version 9 or above) is required to play this audio clip. Download the latest version here. You also need to have JavaScript enabled in your browser.
The sample is 蒼い鳥 gram Ver. (Aoi Tori).
So give it a listen and let us know what you think!
I think it’s actually pretty catchy, personally.

GLADZ J.B will be releasing their very first mini-album called “The unknown world” on April 30th! I’d never heard of them, so here’s a bit of background information on the band. They started in 2000 and have released a couple of albums, singles and live DVDs, as well as appeared on two omnibus albums.

It’s a four member band, and the members are:
Vocals & Guitar – MINORU
Guitar - RYOUHEI
Bass - TESTUYA
Drums - TAKURO
Now, back to their new mini-album! This is the first self produced CD that they will be releasing. It’s a six track release that costs 2100 yen and also comes with a DVD containing a PV.
The tracklist is:
1.HEROIC SAILOR
2.S
3.エメラルド (Emerald)
4.as vivid memory
5.TRESURE
6.For you
They’ll also be having a release tour, called “(into) The unknown world” that starts on April 10th at Osaka Holiday, and concludes on April 28th at Hiroshima Namiki Junction (which is also a oneman live).

Today, at HOLIDAY SHINJUKU they had an UNDER CODE PRODUCTION event to mark the 5th anniversary since the label’s formation.
All of the UNDER CODE bands participated, along with one of the staff members who was in a session band called “Copy Rock” and Marvelous Maiden’s vocalist タカフミ (Takafumi) who was a roadie for and became quite close to Kisaki.
Two session bands for the event have also been added (quite suddenly). But the line-ups are interesting.
水チャリクリハーセン (Mizu Charikuri Haasen)
Vocals - Ko〜JI from Arc
Guitar - 秋都 (Akito) from chariots
Guitar - 知 (Tomo) from chariots
Bass - HISAYOSHI from ClearVeil
Drums - 楓 (Kaede) from hurts
地下線’Sナルシー (Chikasen S-na Sea)
Vocals - 戮 (Riku) from chariots
Guitar - Yuki from Arc
Guitar - 希 (Nozomi) from ClearVeil
Bass - 真稀 (Maki) from hurts
Drums - 俊 (Shun) from Arc
This is all from Kisaki’s blog, and at the end he posted something I thought was really funny.
He decided to post “things that happened today” at the end.
And these are the things that happened:
・ Arc has a livestore at Like an Edison in Shinjuku
・ Nega has an assembly at Death Trap-ID
・ ClearVeil is doing a photoshoot in Yoyogi
・ Reiya from charitos bought a baked sweet potato in Shinjuku.
Hahahaha. I adore Reiya. He’s amused me so much.

About half a month ago, we posted about a newer band to the scene, Shuft.
Today, unfortunately, I have some bad news from them. It’s a few days late, but I’m glad that I checked their OHP to find it.
On February 23rd, their vocalist Haru got into an accident, and he’s under order to have complete bed rest. There’s no threat on his life, however, there are no details on how long his comeback time and so forth will be.
A few days after the incident, they posted in the band journal to update us on Haru’s condition. It turns out, he has suffered from a spinal cord bone fracture, as well as pulled the muscle in his left arm, and his currently in the hospital. On the 25th he was ordered to bed rest, and unable to go out for several days.
For their live on the 27th, they performed without a vocalist and they say to check their OHP for details on what will happen in the days to come.
They’ve also had to postpone the release of their CD.
Of course they apologize to the fans for the trouble, but I hope that we can all agree that Haru’s safe and fast recovery is the most important thing for them at the moment.

Even though we’re losing a band, there’s always a new one popping up in their place!
-Eve- is a band that began in December 2007 and had their first live at Meguro Rokumeikan on December 5th.

The members are:
Vocals - Noah
Guitar - yu-ya
Guitar - 蒼空 (Sora)
Bass - ひでと (Hideto)
Drums - hikaru
On the 10th of January, the band released their first demo CD called 「Ms.ageha/不思議の国のアイリス」 (Fushigi no Kuni no Iris) and will also have a track on the omnibus album, “Art of NeoVisual Vol. 1″ that comes out this spring. There aren’t any sound samples on their OHP, but you can find some of their lyrics, which are always an interesting read.
Also, a cool piece of information, their guitarist 蒼空 (Sora), was previously a roadie for NoveLis. ひでと (Hideto) was aso a roadie, for the band ロザリー (Rosary).

TINC had an important announcement today, which was published via their mailmagazine about a week ago. Turns out, that their important announcement is another bad one — they’ll be disbanding at their oneman live on April 20th at Takadanobaba AREA.
There’s a bit of a message on the OHP, which I’ll translate as soon as I get a chance (I’m currently in class, so I can’t do it at the moment).
So check back later today for an updated post.
EDIT: Sorry about the delay in this translation (boo to class, haha). This is the notice that’s been posted on the band’s OHP.
To all the people who love TINC,
TINC at their live at Takadanobaba AREA on April 20th, year 20 of the Heisei era, will come to an end and disband.
We have been doing activity to the maximum that we can, and as we have done as much as we possibly could, we will disband. This decision is for the four of us, thinking about the benefits of advancing further forward.
From all the members, our intention is to tackle the time that we have left as TINC without any shyness, and with all our power. Until the end, please watch warmly over the four members.
March 1st, 2008
sarino, KENTA, yuhsuke, TAKUMA
Well, the “important announcements” lately haven’t been great news, have they.
I can’t say I’m overly surprised, but they were a really fun band, so it’s definitely sad to see them go. The members have not yet updated their blogs with comments on the disbandment (which they may not even do).
EDIT II: I just got home, so I was able to listen to the audio clip that was put up with the message. It’s Sarino talking, but it says basically the same thing as the text message they posted on the site. I thought it would be a lot different, for some reason, but it’s not. Nor does it offer any further insight as to why they’re breaking up.
If you haven’t heard it already, and would like to do so, please feel free to listen here.

Art Cube officially gained a new member, a drummer who goes by S. Actually he may be the support drummer that they have used in lives. Many people online think that he is Shizuki (exTHE PIASS). Of course it has to be no? Look below, I have included pics of Shizuki from THE PIASS era and his look as S in Art Cube. Same hair, and if you check out his profile on THE PIASS’ website his birthday and blood type is the same. So there you have it! Lets all root for this band, they are so cool!!

This news is actually quite delayed, and I apologize for not catching it sooner. But I always figure, if I haven’t heard of it, chances are there are others who haven’t and may be interested in knowing, right?
Anyways, as of February 16th, シンディケイト (CindyKate) has added an official drummer to their ranks! The drummer’s name is GENJI and he was previously the drummer of the band 紫苑 (Shion) who disbanded in 2005, under the name ゲン(Gen).
Obviously that is him in the photo to your left. He’s already up on the OHP which is great, because I find that some bands take forever to update with new member photos and whatnot, haha.

I noticed this band a few weeks back but I had been waiting to see if a Visunavi profile for them would pop up and it did! So I figured to finally post about them~
The band’s name is ネス (Neth)! They formed in July of 2007 but looking around it doesn’t seem like they really started activity until December 19th, 2007 where they held a demo live at HOLIDAY OSAKA. At the live they also gave out a free distribution.

Vocal: 玖-kyu-
Guitar: 華雪-kayuki-
Guitar: 静-siz-
Bass: Neet
There center of activity is in Kansai. According to their profile, they have a heavy sound with loud, punk elements.
Check out their OHP.

The tickets are 3990 yen a piece (hey, they’re major now, that’s not so bad) with the exception of the tour final which is 4200 yen. Tickets go on sale starting April 26th.
Just as a side note, even if you don’t love this band, if you get the chance take it and see them live. They’re really fun and although I personally am not overly into their music (my best friend is) I enjoyed them every time we saw them.
And as another note, is it just me, or are some of these venues the most random venues ever on a tour? Nothing in the heart of Nagoya? Or in the heart of Osaka? Gotta say, I’m pretty shocked.

This is a band that I just saw Visunavi post about. I never knew much about them before, and they seem pretty interesting so I thought I’d write some information about them in hopes of turning at least one person on to a new band.
Hm.
That came out far more corny than originally anticipated.
Anyways.
MURASAKI is the band’s name, and they actually have been around since January of 2006 as they had their very first live on January 29th at Ikebukuro ROSA. On April 4th of the same year, they released their first demo CD (free distribution), and their second on September 24th.
In March of 2007, they had a commemoration tour to mark the sale of their first single, “Glossy Black” which came out on March 22nd. On the 21st, their “first era” leader and guitarist, MASAYA, left the band. He was soon replaced on April 3rd by one of their current guitarists, TAKUYA. In May of 2007, they also put out another demo CD but lost another member, their bassist DAI, a month later. In July they participated in a GLAY copy live and also found a new bassist, mihiro who would only stay around until September. They also lost their drummer とし (Toshi) in July, however, he later rejoined the band on November 2nd. In September, they announced that their support bassist, YOU, would become an official member of the band.
For the year 2008 the band has been going strong, and has performed more than ten lives in the past two months.
They don’t seem to have any new releases planned as of yet, but I hope that we’ll be able to hear something new from them soon.

Anyways, the members of MURASAKI are:
Vocals - YASU
Guitar / Synth – TORU
Guitar - TAKUYA
Bass - YOU
Drums - とし。(Toshi)
They say that they are a rock band who is conducting their activity with the theme of “Life-sized love and dreams”.
And, it gets better. You can hear samples of their music on their audioleaf profile. Personally, I like LOVE&DREAM the best, but I’m interested in knowing what everyone else likes, and what they think.
AND, (I know! It just keeps going!)
They have a video uploaded on YouTube of their PV for “Glossy Black”, which I think is my favourite out of all the samples.
Please watch it below:

Remember back at the end of January when we all found out that LuLu was going major?
While this isn’t news, I thought any LuLu fans might be interested in reading this article that appeared in the news about the band. (It’s been posted on both Daily Sports Online and mixi, and I’m sure it’s probably on a whole slew of other sites as well). The original Japanese can be found at either of the sources listed below the translation.

Will “LuLu Language” be the next trend following “Ruu Language”?
The visual cosplay band “LuLu”, who uses a unique type of language called “LuLu Language”, will with the release of their mini-album “Dr. Sterben” on April 23rd, make their major debut. Last year Ruu Ooshiba’s “Ruu Language” had become popular, but now LuLu aims to, simultaneously with their music, make “LuLu language” a new trend.
Upholding the ideas of being “A medical treatment band which cures ailing souls”, LuLu manipulates”LuLu language” which is a language that freely uses medical types of terminology. The fans are called “Kranke” (patients), concerts are “medical examination assemblies” and the musical performance is “medical treatment”. They’re thorough, as there is also “medicine” for songs, and “patient registration ticket” for tickets.
The costumes of the five members are white doctor’s gowns, and the leader, Taa (vocalst) is the hospital director. Without naming the other four members, they also use parts of the hospital departments such as the department of internal medicine and pediatrics.
The band formed in November of 2005. With things like the originality of their language, and how their performances capture the attention of all those involved, they are now making their major debut.
Taa says, in enthusiastic LuLu language, “We have given the name ‘highly advanced medical technology center’ to this journal (the major debut), because of all our patients country-wide, it is possible for us to have more advanced procedures of medical treatments. Therefore, everyone, take care of yourselves”.

At their oneman live today, 焔~ほむら~ (Homura)’s bassist 朱韋 (Shui) retired from the band.
He hasn’t updated his journal since the live has been over, but before his final oneman with the band he said that he wanted to have a live with no regrets, and asked everyone not to cry but instead laugh.
Therefore, Homura is currently down to two members — vocalist 華雪 (Kayuki) and guitarist 憂佑 (Yuusuke).
They haven’t yet announced any new members, so I guess we’ll have to sit tight and see what happens.

There is more than one thing to mention about the band. First I’d like to state that they won’t be appearing at the CUTIE & TOMOZO PRESENTS event which takes place on April 20th at Shizuoka Sunash. There was no reason given but if you were looking forward to this please make note of the change.
Also, they will be releasing a single on 5/24. This single is titled MELANCHOLY and the first press edition comes with CD, DVD, and special packaging. The tracks for the single are MELANCHOLY and a new song that is currently not named. The DVD with the first press is a PV of Throw hope away.
Oooh, excitement!
