exist†trace Announces Dates, Venues for US East Coast Tour in 2012

exist trace daybreak

For those of you who have been anxiously wringing your hands for the last few months, wondering when (and where) exactly they’d be back… Looks like next year March is going to be roaring like a lioness, with exist†trace making their second US appearance! Just short of a year after their April 2011 US debut at SakuraCon in Seattle, WA, the fabulous femme fatales of VK are crossing the Pacific and the girth of the United States to perform on a mini-tour spanning from Boston, MA to Pittsburgh, PA!

While details for the Boston performance are still being worked out, tickets go on sale for the New York and Philadelphia dates on Wednesday, December 14 – 5 short days from now! – and you better snatch them up quick because you know those coveted VIP spots will be gone in a flash. If you want a chance to get some hot merch (and with merch will come autographs), you will want to be first in!

March 18, 2012 (SUN)
Hiro Ballroom, New York (NY)
Doors: 7:00pm | Show: 8:00pm

$25 General/$45 VIP (limit 100)

Tickets via TicketWeb

March 20, 2012 (TUE)
Starlight Ballroom, Philadelphia (PA)
Doors: 7:00pm | Show: 8:00pm

$25 General/$45 VIP (limit 100)

Tickets via TicketFly

March 24, 2012 (SAT)
Tekkoshocon, Pittsburgh (PA)

Event admission includes concert, Q&A, and autograph session.

I’m a huge fan, I can’t wait to see them perform in NYC! By the way, the Philly date falls on guitarist Omi’s birthday, so help her celebrate by rocking the eff out. 😉

If you aren’t (yet) a fan, I urge you to check out their YouTube channel to get a feel for how totally flippin’ awesome they are.

Good news for america (: but i feel they’ve lost it, their last releases has been…. not as good as their earlier work

    • fs_chibi

your right, they have lost it. Im hoping that they could venture back into their old releases and create something that is actually EXIST TRACE.

Aw, really? As much as I liked their early releases (ambivalence, riot, funerale bouquet are about as far back as I know), I actually feel like their music has gotten more passionate, more… idiosyncratic(, if I can say?) lately. Their music was certainly heavier in the beginning, but it was also more flat and lacked the character they’ve begun to show. At the same time, I can see how their music has gotten brighter and how people might not take to this. Even Joe/Jyou’s voice has gotten higher compared to her earlier days, but it seems to suits her natural vocal range better.

To each their own! I’m still super excited to see them 😀

they have gotten better, that i can agree. it’s their style that has changed..drastically lol they have strolled into a brighter style. just saying they should venture back into their old work now and then, hopefully u know.
theyre almost mainstream, kinda like girugamesh who went mainstream (not their old selves either)

Can't really say that I'm a big fan of their new music, but I adore these girls and their old stuff. I think it'll be worth it to see them. ^^

Anyone know what VIP is exactly? Can I buy a CD or poster and still get an autograph without buying the VIP?
