One Japanese phrase I personally enjoy, is マイブーム (maibuumu) which translates to, ‘My Boom’ which means something that you’re currently really into.
Yuki from Glacier says that lately his ‘boom’ is cooking.
He’s found himself cooking in the middle of the night. He has just made stew and is thinking about hamburgers next!
But, it seems like he only makes things that himself likes.
Well, I don’t blame him. I only make food I like. But I prefer when someone cooks for me.
As for my boom… it’s a secret. Anyone want to share what theirs is?

For some strange reason, whenever I’m really stressed out I find myself cooking to cool my head off a bit. Otherwise since I’m not that great of a cook, I’m very much like you Ernie, I prefer when others cook for me =)
My boom: Techpara and Trapara
I don’t think I’d want to cook something I wouldn’t want to eat… especially if I’m only cooking for myself. LOL.
My boom? Learning to cut hair, recently. My mom always makes me fix hers when the hairdresser’s mess it up. Now, I want to practice on more people!
Well, wouldn’t everyone cook things they like to eat? xDD
Hmm, as for me… -thinks- My boom is drawing. I just can’t keep my hands off of pencil and paper, it’s impossible for me.
