ADAMS' Shota Passes Away

adams

On November 28th, ADAMS was playing in Warsaw, Poland on one of the stops of their “Original Love” world tour. During one of the songs, member Shota suddenly collapsed and, after a long struggle, passed away due to a stroke. The band has left an official announcement on their official Facebook, which has been translated below by yours truly:

To all Eves and parties involved,

Thank you for all of your support.
At 5:19A.M. on November 28th, 2015, Shota Yokoyama passed away due to a stroke.
He collapsed on stage during the Warsaw, Poland show on November 28th. After a nearly 36-hour struggle, he departed from this world.
It started while we were performing our debut single, “Dizzy Love.” He fell while still holding the microphone.
He continued singing even as he lost consciousness.
He passed away doing what he did best.
Shota truly loved music.
He was an ambitious, charming, and sensitive artist.

What we can do now to ensure he is never forgotten is to continue to listen to the works he created.

I hope we can remember him together fondly.

Thank you for all of your support for ADAMS.

LOVE FOREVER to SHOTA

ADAM

    This is horrible…
    May he RIP.
I find it odd though, why do so many visual kei musicians die so young and so suddenly?
