SuG will be hitting Europe in just 3 days in their first Europe tour ever. Though SuG is among the list of bands that has unfortunately canceled their Paris show in lieu of the recent attacks, they will surely make up for it on their other shows. S-T.net had the opportunity to ask them for a sneak peek of what to expect on the tour.
–Your first Europe Tour will start on November 29th in Cologne, Germany. Have you prepared anything special for this Europe Tour?
Takeru: We might play a new song we haven’t played yet!
Chiyu: I’m looking at our videos from previous overseas shows and doing image training.
yuji: I’m currently thinking of something!
masato: It’s a surprise, so please come to our live.
shinpei: I’m wondering what to do with underwear. Will I take a lot of them with me, or should I wash them in Europe?
–You will be releasing a new single “SICK’S” on December 16th. We’re curious about what kind of set list we can expect for the Europe Tour.
Takeru: It’s going to be a colorful mixture of new and old.
Chiyu: SuG All-Star Battle!
yuji: We want to include old and new songs.
masato: We are trying to think of a set list everyone can enjoy.
shinpei: We are thinking of building it around our single songs.
–We heard Takeru has been studying English diligently. Has this affected the tour planning process? Are you looking forward to using your English abroad?
Takeru: I’m still just a beginner, but I will do my best.
–You will be touring 5 countries during this tour. If you have any free time to go sightseeing, where do you want to go?
Takeru: I want to go to fashion select shops.
Chiyu: I want to go everywhere we can if we have time.
yuji: I want to go to instrument shops in all countries. I want a Kemper.
masato: I want to go see tourist spots. I want to go to Mont Saint-Michel…
shinpei: I don’t know much, so please tell me your recommendations.
–What foods are you looking forward to eating the most in each country?
Chiyu: Anything that tastes good. (laugh)
yuji: I love pasta.
masato: I want to enjoy alcohol.
shinpei: I like meat, so meat dishes.
–You must spend a lot of time traveling from one country to another. What are you planning to do during the traveling time?
Takeru: I want to listen to the music of each country.
Chiyu: Sleep or sleep. (laugh)
yuji: If I can use Wi-Fi, I will play around with smartphone applications.
masato: Games, I think…
shinpei: Sleep! I will sleep the whole time.
–Besides these 5 countries in Europe, where would you like to perform overseas?
Takeru: Vietnam and Turkey and Italy.
yuji: Hawaii and Italy.
masato: America. In Europe, Italy and Netherlands.
–Do you have any plans to reach out to overseas fans besides these shows?
Takeru: We don’t have any at the moment, but we want to do a tour that makes us want to come to Europe again!
Chiyu: We will go to Thailand next year.
yuji: If you invite us I would love to go.
masato: We will go to Bangok in January.
shinpei: If you support us, we want to go everywhere.
