D.I.D.'s drummer out of commission

D.I.D. have announced that their drummer, Takashi, will not be present for their oneman live this month, and for future activities for the time being.

The following announcement was posted in the band’s Official Blog:

An important announcement from D.I.D.

Our drummer, Takashi, has been suffering from chronic tendinitis in his wrist, and when we first started activities, he was also consulting with a doctor about being able to continue on in the band. However, as our oneman live grows closer, his condition worsens, and last night the doctor told him that he “needs long-term care”.

It was a difficult decision, but starting from our oneman live on on November 23rd at Takadanobaba AREA titled, “D.I.D. 1st ONEMAN ‘the Eye of Providence’”, we will be welcoming a support drummer into our line-up.

We apolgise from the bottom of our hearts, to all of our fans who have been waiting for the oneman and cheering us on, for things having turned out this way.

In order for Takashi to make a quick recovery, we hope that everyone can give him even more heartfelt support.

Don’t forget, as we mentioned back in August,
D.I.D.’s first full album just came out! If you want to get your hands on a copy and haven’t yet, there are still copies of both types available!
