If you’re an えんそく (Ensoku) fan who’s going to be in Tokyo in the middle of January, the band has a great deal for you!
From January 11th until January 17th, Ensoku will be having a one week long series of free oneman shows. That’s right. Seven free oneman lives.
Their series of oneman performances is called, “ボクラの七日間戦争” (Bokura no Nanokakan Sensou). Each show will be held at Ikebukuro EDGE, with doors opening at 6:30, and the show starting at 7:30.
Most importantly, how do you get tickets?
Ensoku will not be allowing fans to book their spots in advance. On the day of the live, they will be handing out tickets, shuffled randomly, with a colour and a number from 1 – 40 written on it. They will be handing out tickets starting from 5:00. Only one ticket is allowed per person, so you won’t be able to pick up one for your friend if they’re coming later.
From 6:00 they will be announcing the colour and number order for entering. The order will change depending on the day, so if you’re going more than once, don’t count on it being the same!
Please note that you still do have to cover the cost of a drink ticket.
Before they hit their stretch of free shows, Ensoku will be holding two oneman lives in December. The first is on December 22nd, and titled “えんそくの帰り道～それぞれの家路～” (Ensoku no Kaerimichi ~ Sorezore no Ieji ~). Tickets cost 3500.
Then on December 24th, they will be having a special Christmas celebration called, “～演目、何かしらの童話～” (Enmoku, Nanikashira no Douwa) at Kagurazaka EXPLOSION.
In Japan, it’s become a tradition to eat chicken (and more specifically KFC when possible) for Christmas. Ensoku is joining in that tradition but offering concert goers a special 3000 yen ticket that includes chicken. Regular seats are 2500 yen.
Sounds like a pretty cool thing that the band is doing for their fans! Will you try to attend any of the free lives?
