D.I.D's Satoshi to Depart

didff

Right on the heels of D.I.D’s first One Man Tour, the release of their second single, and the introduction of the band’s newest drummer, everything was looking up for D.I.D.

However, not everything lasts forever.

D.I.D’s guitarist Satoshi announced today that effective immediately, he will be withdrawing from the band due to sudden family circumstances.

The following was posted on the band’s OHP. It has been translated by S-T’s Ku:

This is sudden, but
Guitarist Satoshi will leave the band due to family circumstances.

We had come to the conclusion that after a observing the situation for a fixed period of time we would return to activity with five members,
But in accordance with the wishes of the man himself, who expects circumstances will continue for too long,
We came to this decision.

We realize this is troublesome for all of the staff and all of the fans,
For the timing falling before going on a countrywide tour.

All of the members and staff
Cannot simply hide our absolute surprise over the suddenness of the matter.

We will continue activities on our current schedule with four members;
We would like to ask all of the fans to grant us your unchanging voices of support.
