Less-than-lovely news for fans of promising new band Love it.
We only introduced you to this band in June, a few months after they officially began activities. And while the last half-year has been peppered with performances and releases, the band made the sudden, bare-bones announcement that they would dissolve as of their first oneman on February 2nd at Takadanobaba AREA.
Love it Tandoku Kouen SayonaRABBIT*
February 2, 2015 (MON) @ Takadanobaba AREA
OPEN 18:00 | START 18:30
Starring Love it
Advance ¥2800 | Day-of ¥3300
*The band’s name, Love it, is pronounced the same as “rabbit” in Japanese phonology. The title of the live is, therefore, a play on “goodbye, Love it” using “sayonara” and the phonetic spelling of “Love it”.
According to the Twitter announcement, Love it will also release their first PV single in the leadup to their dissolution, in January, but details of such are pending.
No explanation has been given as to what caused the members of Love it to suddenly hate it, and it is quite the misfortune since even in their short career they showed tremendous promise. We can only hope that the members will move on to further projects that make the most of their budding talents.
