Fans can be supportive and wonderful, so naturally when a bandman’s birthday comes around, one of the best ways to celebrate is to perform on stage, surrounded by cakes, presents and fans. However, unfortunate things do happen, and it looks like this year Masataka of THOMAS had to spend his birthday at home recovering from from food poisoning. On the day of ALSDEAD’s “Massive Nights” at Ikebukuro Edge, Thomas suddenly announced that Masataka had to withdraw his appearance at the event.
An important message from THOMAS
We truly thank you for your past support of THOMAS.
Today at Ikebukuro EDGE, vocalist Masataka came down with food poisoning
and at the doctor’s judgement will refrain from performing.
In addition, we’d like to report that only guitarist Toshi and drummer Lotto will carry out the performance
We deeply apologize to all those who were looking forward to seeing a performance by all the members
as well as for causing any worry.
We also apologize for the sudden announcement.
Also be aware that there are no ticket refunds for this event.
We sincerely apologize and ask for your understanding of this matter.

Masataka, Toshi, Lotto
Masataka won’t be having any cake until he recovers, but the good news is that according to his blog and twitter, he seems to be getting a little better. Send him your positive energy and support so he can recover faster and eat at least some of his cake before it goes stale!
