RevleZ's Ren in an Accident

revlezRevleZ hasn’t had an easy time recently, as they just lose their drummer, Rui, on October 1st due to family circumstances, and at the end of September announced that their guitarist, Ren, had gotten into an accident.

The following announcement regarding Ren’s accident was posted in the member’s blogs.

We have an announcement for you today.

Thank you for your continuous support of RevleZ.

On September 25th, our guitarist Ren got into an accident.

Upon visiting the hospital, we learned that his clavicle had broken completely in two; if he moves it too much, the bone could protrude out from his skin. He has been advised to rest and move his arm as little as possible until surgery can be performed.

Taking Ren’s current condition into account, all lives between 9/25-10/7 will be performed by the other members only. We apologize if this causes any trouble or worry.

We will update you on Ren’s condition accordingly.

Each member took time to comment on the announcement, including Ren who will be making his return tot he band on October 20th.

Ren

To all of my band members, staff, and fans: I apologize for causing you worry and trouble.

I’m really, really sorry that, due to my own fault, fans and staff alike who were looking forward to seeing me at lives [won’t be able to see me].

I won’t play shows until the 20th.

I’m full of frustration.
We won’t be able to appear for the last time as 5 members at our 10.01 one-man, Rui’s retirement show.

Just about everything about this sucks.

I take full responsibility for my actions.

What I can do now is
Recover as best as I can
Until my return on the 20th.

The 20th is a little ways away,
But I’m going to come back fully recovered and full of spirit,
So please continue to give us your unchanging support.

I’m sorry that this sort of thing has happened.

We’ve become unable to perform as 5 members anymore, including the 10.01 live.

We really don’t know what will happen in life.

We’ll have to carry the burden of Ren’s current state and Rui’s last show.

We’ll make it a show you won’t regret.

Please continue to support us.

Kyoma.

Yuuki

I’m…sorry…
This is God’s…punishment…

Ryou

I’m sorry that things turned out like this.

I wanted to play our last 5-member show, but that wish will not be granted.

We’ll be playing Rui’s last live as four members, carrying the burden of Ren’s current state.

We’ll make it an awesome day.

Ryou

Rui

I’m really sorry this is so sudden.

Even I was surprised when they contacted me about it.
I thought we’d carry on as normal in the studio and on stage. I wanted to do so many things for our last 5-member live on 10/1, but we’ll be facing it as four members instead.

To tell the truth, I’m very frustrated and sad.
I wanted to face the end of the 5-member lineup we’ve created with everyone together, but that wish won’t come true.

My last live will be with 4 members, but we’ll perform with the strength of 5 members!
Ren, who can’t take the stage, feels the most strongly about this, and we’ll perform with those feelings in the front of our minds.

I’m praying for his full recovery so that he can take the stage again, if even one day sooner.
When that time comes, please welcome him back warmly.

RevleZ Rui

Hopefully the rest of 2014 will prove to be better for RevleZ, and that Ren has a speedy recovery.
