Plastic Tree's Ryutaro to Release Solo Work

arimura-ryutaro

Although they’ve been on the scene for a while, Plastic Tree has been able to keep themselves consistently busy with new releases and tours. However, it seems like vocalist 有村竜太朗 (Arimura Ryutaro) is looking for more! Recently, Ryutaro has announced that he will be releasing new music under his own solo project.

Typically we see members starting solo projects after dissolution or breakups, but Ryutaro’s solo project is not an ill-telling indication of the band’s health. Rather, Ryutaro has expressed that the songs he will be releasing are just songs that did not work out for the band. For his solo project, Ryutaro is bringing some of his friends and trusted acquaintances on board to help out. Hatano (People in the box) will be helping out with the arrangements and the musicians are gt. hiro (té), gt. Kobayashi (THE NOVEMBERS), ba. Toriishi (chouchou merged syrups.) and dr. Takagaki.

The demo album is going to drop on November 23rd in three different types–regular edition, limited type A and limited type B. Not much is known about the different types, but check out a list of tracks you can expect to hear on the album:

1.) 幻形テープ(Genkei TAPE)
2.) 浮融 (Fuyuu)
3.) 魔似事 (Manegoto)
4.) また、堕月さま (Mata, otsukisama)
5.) うフふ (Ufufu)
6.) 猫夢 (Nekoyume)
7.) 鍵時計 (Kagidokei)
8.) 恋ト幻 (Rentogen)

We’ll keep you updated with any further developments with Ryutaro’s solo project! You can also check out his website here.
