the Pumpkin Head will be having a one day revival live this winter!
The band disbanded back on June 15th, 2007 but on December 4th they’ll be revived for a day! They’re playing a one man show called Shimizuya Records & Like an Edison Presents 「お嬢さんを僕に下さい。」 (Ojousan wo Boku ni Kudasai) and it’s taking place at Nagoya E.L.L (Electric Lady Land).
Tickets cost 3800 yen or 4300 yen at the door.
Currently only two of the members are iin active bands; Tomo in chariots and Izumi in Juliette. However, Frypan also has his own page on the Shimizuya Records OHP for anyone that’s interested.

Two random things.
One, the title of the post makes me think of some sort of motivational ‘you can reach your dreams!’ sort of children’s book.
Two, Frypan kind of scares me. It’s weird, because everything I’ve ever read about him from other band members and fans says he’s super nice and naturally I’m inclined to believe he’s a super nice guy. But I’m afraid of clowns, and when I saw them live his red … mouth makeup, ran all down his clean white shirt… it was just too much for me to handle, haha.
Regardless, it’s nice for the fans to have a chance to see them in action again! Hopefully it’ll be a great night for everyone who attends.

Sep 17th, 2008 @ 10:22 am2Reply to this comment.While I’m excited to see them all be active again and of course a revival live is always wondeful news (Is this the year of revivials or what?), I comepletely agree with you about Frypan (I am also afraid of clowns). My first experience with The Pumpkin Head was with a flyer I recieved in the mail from Third Stage and I will never ever forget them.
