RENTRER EN SOI posted an announcement on their site that after their live on December 25th, they will end their activities. There is also a comment from the members regarding the reason behind their decision.
The comment basically says they think they’ve done their everything as the band RENTRER EN SOI, and therefore after thinking it over with the members and the staff, the band decided to disband.
RENTRER EN SOI and their staff ask everyone to continue to support them without changing even though there’s only a limited period of time left before the end.

OMG, no way! This is really sucky news to me; I am very sad to hear this.
I’m not a fan of theirs by any means, but I can say I totally did not see this one coming at all. O_O
I was really surprised too, I always thought they’re one of those bands who’ll stick around like.. forever. But I guess all things come to an end one day. I’m glad they’ve decided to disband now that they think they’ve given their everything, rather than to continue forcibly. (insert cliché) “It’s better to burn out than fade away” (/insert cliché)
This is terrible news. I finally got to see them live over the summer and now this. I’m really depressed now…

That’s a real shame. I really liked their music, but… I wasn’t mega attached to them. It’s still a shock though, I was hoping to see them live one day >_> Another band to cross off that list.

for some reason I first thought this was a joke although it’s nowhere near april fool’s now…. Just can’t believe it. Seriously thought they’d be around, like forever. One of my favorites bands. I’m just shocked ;_____;

I like their music, but I wasn’t a huge fan of them either. I’m glad I was able to see them live last year then, it was a lot of fun. I’m pretty shocked by this though. I really didn’t see it coming.
I can’t even believe it.
I’ve listened to them for almost six years and I’m incredibly attached to them; this cannot happen. I just saw them live for the first time in June and I was looking to seeing them many more times in the future.

Man… I’m feeling like the time one of my most beloved bands disbanded(Phantasmagoria). I’m really in pieces. I really like RENTRER EN SOI.

My first reaction was “OMG!!!!!!”
This was really a shock and unexpected. Of all the bands I could think of, RENTRER EN SOI was the one I least expected to disband. ;~;
Damn…I was going to see them live here in NJ, but I didn’t….
Guess I won’t be able to enjoy a live by them. TT_TT
But I respect their decision and this matter and hope they continue down the path of music, as with any other disbanded band.

Ah, this one hurts. I never had a chance to see them live, but really hoped they would tour widely, especially after the New York show didn’t happen. I hope they all continue to make music. They were really tight musicians.

I loved them so much I can’t believe they are disbanding. I guess they’ll get involved in other things but they were so unbelivably good. This just made my day really sucky. I can’t believe it…this day is really depressing…God. On Christmas too. That’s just. Wonderful timing. ;-;
