We mentioned before that Kaito (ex-Guy’s Family, ex-Shulla) would  be participating in a session band on October 17th (you can find more details here).  Well, Kaito has now made more of a return to the scene and has opened up a brand new blog because of his session band activities.

Kaito (and I’m SO glad he changed it back to Kaito) is one of my favourite artists and I can’t even begin to explain how happy I was to find that he’s starting blogging again and is doing well. I’ve translated the entry he’s posted there (not the very first one about the session band, but the second one entitled そして). The first entry just says that he’ll be in a session band and he’s made this new blog and that he’s looking forward to singing again.

But here’s the entry that he’s posted. I think many fans will feel better reading it considering the rocky path he had to go down earlier this year.

I’m truly sorry for the abrupt way that the band Guy’s Family came to an end.

Frankly speaking, even now I absolutely love Guy’s Family, and I love the members of Guy’s Family.

Not long ago I went out to eat with Reo, and when he told me “Kaichan, you HAVE to sing again! It was because we had your songs that I was able to be in Guy’s Family, so you have to!”, I was really happy.

At a time when I feel like I’d pretty much forgotten about singing songs, the things that were said in that conversation I had with Reo gave me a push on the back.

Reo, seriously, Thank You.

And I’m thankful to the members of Guy’s Family and the office for supporting the overly selfish me.

Being changed, I want to thank everyone but because I feel a bit awkward saying it…

I feel that I want to convey it in a song.

To all of you who loved and gave your support to Shinobu, Reo, Takepon, Taku
And Kight

From the bottom of my heart, from hereon in, even if it’s only little by little, Kaito will continue to deliver.

I wanted to add that the comments he’s received from this post have been so sweet, and it’s really touching that so many people are glad he’s back! The majority of the comments are welcoming his return, and offering support. As well as letting him know how much the fans loved him and the music he did with both Guy’s Family and Shulla.

Providing he doesn’t post an insane amount, I’ll be trying to keep up with translating his journal entries over at the translation journal on LJ, Kotoba Ijime (which I feel horrible about neglecting lately, so I’ll try to post more regularly there).
