You can always count on Golden Bomber to do something we don’t quite understand.
Golden Bomber, in collaboration with Honda, has begun the “Memememeshikute Challenge.” In this challenge, internet users from all over the world combine their clicking powers to click this button on Honda’s Supercub Series special page. Doing so will get you one of two outcomes: “Me” or “Memeshikute tsurai yo~” a lyric from Golden Bomber’s hottest hit, “Memeshikute.”
The goal? To reach 100 million clicks. The reason? This year will mark the production of Supercub’s 100-millionth product. By helping the campaign reach 100 million clicks, you can supposedly feel the impact of producing 100 million somethings.
They’ve collected over 22 million clicks since the campaign began on August 4th. You have until September 4th to contribute your own clicks. You can click the button as many times as you want and even share your results on Twitter. What will happen if (or when) the campaign reaches 100 million clicks? We don’t know, but you might want to be a part of it.
