Sometimes the band lifestyle isn’t for the best.
HOLYCLOCK has announced that at their September 21 show at LIVE HOUSE D’, they will go on indefinite activity pause, and for a surprisingly honest reason. Read our translation of their official announcement below to find out more:
Thank you for your continuous support for HOLYCLOCK.
At our September 21 (Thu) show at LIVE HOUSE D’, we will enter an indefinite activity pause.
After discussing the situation with members and staff, we came to this conclusion. Considering the recovery of our member battling with illness, it would be difficult to continue with band activities as is.
We sincerely apologize to all of our supporters for the concern and inconvenience this sudden news may cause. We ask for your understanding.
We’re not certain as to which member is suffering from what kind of sickness, but we have to applaud the band for their honesty. The members have offered no more clarity on the subject, however.
Since HOLYCLOCK began activities in 2013, they’ve had their ups and downs, and an incredible reunion story (stay tuned to find out more details!). They’ve put out a number of good releases as well, with their most recent one coming out in April.
Were you a fan of HOLYCLOCK? Did you ever see them live? What made you get into them? Let us know with a comment or message, and enjoy the time you have left with them!
