クリシュナ(Crishuna) is a visual kei band relatively new to the scene, but unfortunately, their time is already over.
Crishuna will be taking the stage for the last time following their upcoming sponsored live at Ash Osaka on November 1st. As for why, it’s a bit uncertain. Read the official announcement for yourself below, thanks to our own translator Bambi:
An important announcement from Crishuna:
Dear friends and loyal supporters,
This is to inform you that we have made the decision to disband following our headlining concert on November 1, 2014. We are truly sorry to have to break this news so suddenly. Our days as a band may be numbered, but rest assured we’ll be throwing everything we have into each and everyone one of our final performances. We hope you’ll continue to support us until it’s time to say goodbye.
July 23, 2014
Beginning in May 2012, Crishuna hasn’t been around for very long. However, that didn’t stop them from releasing four singles in just over a year and a half’s time. Their most recent one, 「秘想のプリゾナー/WITHERED」 (Hisou no Prisoner/WITHERED), was just released this past May 28th. While the band’s future activities are unclear for now, we can only hope that the members will continue on to bigger and better things in the visual kei industry. Details on their last live are TBA, but if you want to see them live before they go, check out their live schedule so far below:
July 31st @ Osaka Ash
August 16th @ Nagoya JAMMIN’
September 14th @ Nishikujo BRAND NEW
