baroque just kicked off their new tour, but what should be a happy occasions is clouded with a certain worry. According to a message posted to their website yesterday, the band has been unable to contact bassist 万作 (Bansaku) since Sunday.
An important announcement
Recently, the whereabouts of baroque’s bassist, Bansaku, have become unknown.
He has not made contact since the afternoon of June 24th (Sunday), and currently the staff are searching for him together, but without having yet been found,
the situation has turned to waiting for contact from him.
A report was filed and confirmed by the police, but the nature of the incident is still unknown.
Starting today, June 26th (Tuesday), is the nationwide tour “TOUR baroque Genshou Dai San Genshou Hageshii Live House Tour”, but
the tour title has changed to “TOUR baroque Genshou Dai San Genshou Hageshii Live House Tour ~Bansaku wo Sagase~”,
and in accordance with the wishes of the other members, even if by chance Bansaku doesn’t show up, please understand in advance that the shows will go on without the bass.
We are terribly sorry for the inconvenience caused to fans and related personnel,
but we’ll believe in Bansaku’s return until the end, and the members want to try to wait for him until the very last minute,
so we are very sorry for this late announcement and would like to ask for your understanding and cooperation.
Details will be announced as they become available.
Furthermore, if you even have the most trivial information about Bansoku’s whereabouts, please notify our company (email@example.com).

Judging by the tweets posted after the live, the others members remain positive in face of this adversity.
The first day of the tour is over (^_^) It was good I could share my feelings with everyone who came. Thanks. Then, there’s nothing but woods to my left! ┌( ﾟДﾟ)ﾉ Let’s hurry and join up soon. -Akira
It was even officially announced but we’re doing this tour while believing in Ban-chan’s safe return. Since we’re able to prepare the bass settings and costumes at any time, get back here soon. We’ll come back to Koriyama! Tomorrow, Genshou happens in Sendai! -Ryo
Today was Koriyama, and honestly I was full of anxiety until right before it started, but all the fans and staff really helped at the live. Next, we’ll return the today that we borrowed, as four people. Ban-chan loves baroque so I absolutely believe he’ll return. -Kei
