On June 15th, the GazettE announced a new album to be released in August and two parts of their upcoming tour, but in a bit of a different form. The 13th year of the GazettE, dubbed by the band as the “Beginning of Ominous Year,” will feature a collaboration of sorts called PROJECT:DARK AGE.

PROJECT:DARK AGE involves 18 creators. 5 of the members are the band members themselves, while the others are involved in areas like hair, makeup, sound, lighting, video, and more. It’s the type of team that is always involved in creating your favorite music and shows, but now we have names and faces to associate them with.

The project will involve six total “movements,” three of which have already been announced. The first is the release of a new album “DOGMA” in August. The second and third movements are two legs of a tour that lasts at least until the beginning of 2016.

No details have been released about the album yet, but you can watch this preview below:

Tickets to all shows cost 6800yen. You can enter a pre-sale lottery for some shows on the first part of the tour between June 19-June 22 at 18:00 (JST). If you’re not signed up for the overseas HERESY fanclub, you can still enter for tickets as long as you register before the end of the entry period. Results will be announced on June 25. Otherwise, you can wait until regular sales start on July 4. Regular sales for the second part of the tour will begin on October 24.
