Tainted Reality, known as one of the few US-based promotional companies in the visual kei market, has announced the re-release of the full-length feature “BLOOD: Darkest Labyrinth Vol. 1″ free for viewing.
BLOOD fans will remember that the original, cut, version of “BLOOD: Darkest Labyrinth Vol. 1″ was originally included with “Les Fleurs Du Mal” special edition release back in 2007. However, this special director’s cut version includes 15 minutes of restored footage not included in the original release, including “rare footage of VK bands behind the scenes, out of make-up, and socializing, as well as concert performances, photo shoots, and the infamous incident where the band was kicked off stage in New York City.”
Sounds interesting, right?
The documentary is very interesting for multiple reasons, including its ability to show the members of BLOOD in a more human light–tackle-hugging their friends, eating junk food, playing video games, and even picking fights. It also shows the interesting light what a small, Indies visual kei band faces on an international tour.
You can watch the full documentary below, and make sure to check out Tainted-Reality’s website here.
