SIGNAL to Disband

With their upcoming 2nd Anniversary One Man and a promising new single, no one was expecting this.

Fans of SIGNAL were bewildered and devastated this morning when the band announced via their email webservice (now information included on their OHP)) that SIGNAL will be disbanding on September 14th after their final live. The final One Man, titled “-Crossing Fate-” will take place at Meguro LiveStation. Ticket information has been released already for “-Crossing Fate-” and is included below. In addition, they will release their last song, “Crossing Fate” as a live distribution to all members of the audience. If you purchased a copy of their upcoming single “Deadly…” you will be able to participate in a photography event after the live.

Below is the Announcement, translated by Ku:

Thank you more than ever for supporting Signal.

It’s a sudden announcement, but after the September 14th one-man performance at Meguro Live Station, it has been decided that we will cease all activities and disband.

After the departure announcement last time we piled on the meetings in order to continue on with Signal, but we would like you to understand that we came to the conclusion that without these five members Signal cannot be complete and with each member’s agreement we concluded to break up.

Along with our gratitude, we would like to offer our deepest apologies to all of the fans who have supported us until now and to all of the staff.

The remaining time is short, but until the end we will make our very best effort like you expect from Signal, so we would still appreciate your support.

June 4th, 2013
Signal, all members

SIGNAL Last Live
-Crossing Fate-
9/14 @ Meguro Livestation
Ticket: ¥3000/¥3500
Time: 17:30/18:00
Release: A tickets available after their One Man on 6/28 at Ikebukuro EDGE

Also, please note that Drummer Raychel announced his plans to leave the band back at the end of April, as to care for his ailing mother.  His last live will take place at their upcoming (but not final) One Man “OVER THE DEAD LINE” on June 28th.

As this is a very sudden announcement (and most information has been garnered through the original source, which certainly lacks in reason), please note that we are currently working as quickly as possible to bring you updates on translations of the member comments. Check back often as we at Shattered-Tranquility bring you the most up-to-date information.

Now, I believe some of us fans need to go have a good, long cry.
